Unfortunately, Those are very true words. It's one reason that I always suggest people record the encounter quietly if they can, not use profanity, or raise their voice with an officer even if you know what they are doing is illegal, you can calmly state it but don't try to litigate it on the street because an officer can still effect an arrest and the process will most likely harm you rather than him/her. Now this officer was charged with misconduct in office because he violated the FedEx driver's rights, and he was recently found guilty, but the driver is the one who suffered since 2019 because of his actions. Thanks for taking the time to comment! taya@@mikemactavish1665

Reminds me of what is happening to many of the J6-ers, some of who were not even there. If you disagree, it is only because you haven't truly looked into what actually happened, rather you watched the sham trials filled with false info., as is now being proven. You do not look into such because you can then feign ignorance - although the proof is so evident that you'd trip over it, otherwise. That goes for you, and all others hiding behind a thin curtain called obfuscation, for only by clouding the issue (any of many issues) in your own mind are you able to arrive at such convoluted conclusions.

The problem is in doing that is Cops have Qualified Immunity so you can't sue the officer directly, that's why Police act like they do,! If the Supreme Court got rid of qualified immunity, then you would see officers start acting in a whole different way because then they would know that anyone who sued could go after their pensions and their homes and their cars and everything else, and therefore they would stop acting the way they do! But until that happens you're going to continue to see this sort of stuff!

The man didn’t care about the explanation and he and then his friend started to yell at,swear at, and insult the police officers who were doing the jobs they are paid to do.
*If the 2 fedx employees can’t control themselves or behave professionally when in public.. or after one of them breaks the law…they should not be employed at a job where they deal with the public.

Cops of that town didn't like it, arrested him and beat the crap out of him after they had him in a jail cell. Held him overnight then the next day took him to the edge of town and told him to keep going. That was when in his early thirties... nearly 40 years ago.
My current husband, when in his thirties was so badly beaten by the cops the judge dropped all charges, even though my husband broke one of the cops nose in the struggle. That cop plus others took him down because he turned away from them when they called him over to their patrol car.
He was black and blue from ankles to face. The judge...in court...made the cops uncuff him...His hands cuffed to his waist... because she saw how messed up his face was. Both my husbands were white men, and both unjustly arrested and beaten, and both were, and are, good men. Men I am proud to have as my husband. I too am white. Color does not make a difference...the evil are evil to all equally.

His example to younger officers had a terrible effect on the Baltimore police department although he said in court he thought he was teaching them the only way to effectively police and that officers would be helpless and useless if they couldn't police like he did and if they saw he was punished. He actually said in court that officers would be afraid to do their jobs if he received prison time. Can you imagine for how many years he had been ruining people's lives but simply because there was no camera there-- there was no justice for the victims? I BLAME the system more-so than Newberg. The system gave him the power and does not hold him accountable when he abuses that power. It's all a game.

This officer will probably become a fed after retirement for a second retirement income, and corrupt fed agents, when they lie and get away with it, tend to get headquarters promotions and awards for nothing, and finally get high paying jobs at prestigious colleges and businesses that they aren’t qualified or honest to get in the first place.

Remember their names on Election Day. Most local judges are elected, not appointed like they are at the federal level. Remember their names and vote them out.
...or if you find out they're running unopposed, run against them yourself! In many jurisdictions, it's not necessary for you to have even passed the BAR to be elected as a judge!

6 months of home detention> Consent decree? Why did the FBI not arrest him for violation of civil rights under color of authority? The FBI can file federal charges and he MUST do 5 years in Fed resort.

The January 6th conspiracy by labelling what was mostly a peaceful protest against an obviously stolen election as an insurrection, was the police state baring its teeth against we the people. In collusion with the big tech companies who gave the feds the location of the protestors without telling the thousands of people who were illegally arrested just for being at the Capitol, shows how deep the anti American conspiracy is. This evil government is out of control and the police state nightmare of Orwell is here and only going to get worse, they’re the enemy within, forget the propaganda about Russia or North Korea, the enemy is the federal government.

The Constitution, which protects the PEOPLE from actions like this, has one major FLAW. In order for the Constitution to actually be effective, there has to be people of INTEGRITY to stand up for it and honor it. Each branch of the government (all levels) needs to be driven by the HONOR that is required to value what the Constitution is and what it represents.

A important part of that topic that isn't addressed is the Healthcare in Germany is subsidized by taxes, as in the working class has higher taxes there where the inhaler is $9, than where it's more expensive.
