I was once getting stopped multiple times a week walking home from work. Then I got a car and after a peaceful lull I got pulled over for doing 35 in a 25 zone. After that I began getting stopped multiple times a week, half the time searching my car. Then they came to my job for something unrelated to me but when they saw me switched their whole focus to me, asking my boss if they could tap their phone, he declined, they said they didn't need the phone anyway, then left.
I have no criminal history, I was 21 at the time, and for the most part lived a normal live. I'm white, fwiw, and I'm respectfully compliant every time I'm stopped. My boss advised me to stop that and take some rights classes, so I did.
Obviously this continues, tickets when applicable applied, but I began flexing my rights when they crossed the line. Their Sargent got to know me, and he'd show up whenever he heard my name to deescalate and let me go.
Then 1 week I get stopped and ticketed for a taillight. So I fix the bulb. 2 days later I get stopped for a taillight. It wasn't blown but they wanted to search my car. I did the rights thing so they called k9. K9 found nothing so they asked to search again. I said no, he got mad and got the dog again, this time he banged my car while speaking German to the dog. It barked. He said it found something and asked to search again. I reminded him a k9 indication is probable cause to search so they don't need my permission. He called me lawyer boy, and put me in his car cuffed. That's when things got interesting.
They ripped holes in the underside of my car. Then after 2 cops plain view searched my car the 3rd cop, the k9 cop, leaned in my driver side window and pulled out what he said was a pot seed in a tiny tiny bag. He said it was in plain view on my driver's seat and when I asked why the other 2 cops didn't find it he said he's just better than them.
1yr probation, $1000 fine, 1 seed that wasn't mine. The lawyer advised I just take the plea deal (before the days of body cams). When a cop asks you to step out of your car always put the windows up and close the door behind you. They will usually try to grab the door before you can do that so just politely and naively excuse yourself and say you are trying to close the door.

There are also good cops who saved many people from abuse, or from medical issues. Some cop does videos about it.
Another cop said he was fighting about the mandatory tickets. In some departments they required cops to write a certain number of tickets every day for example 5 or 6...so the other cops have to write the same amount of tickets to prove that they do their job correctly, which some cops thought its nonsense because cops do also other stuff than writing tickets. And he said together with some other cop, he won the battle with the department and the city. Another cop said we are not required to write tickets if it's not necessary.. we write them only if a person has drugs in the car as proof for the court, etc. and he said some cops never write tickets in several years, or rarely.

This idiot chose to harass me vs contacting his suspect. Who had a skateboard. He lied about the suspect description then implied I had to leave public property. These maggots have this down. He implies he gave me a criminal trespass warning, then lies to another officer over the radio. The other officer will come along assume He can now arrest me based off the other jerks lies. (They do not even consider it's public property and he can't trespass me for filming in public)
Multiple arrests for this here at 515 s. Frio by SAPD. Multiple dismissed charges, yet the jerk offs keep doing it.
I had to call him out and get his stupervisor to re affirm I could be where I was. Worse his stupervisor lied and said I matched the suspect description. Another Sgt confirmed they both lied. I pulled the call.
First thing I found suspicious was who put in the call to dispatch. A police Sgt.
Yes that's right, instead of confronting the alleged suspect he calls it in. Because what he called in lacked Ras or PC to detain. Male ringing doorbell at magistrates. Has skateboard appears intoxicated. (If he did in fact appear intoxicated why didn't the Sgt contact him?). Blue lie bullshit.
      Cops inventing crime.
The funny part is when I told internal affairs I had footage of this idiot officer ignoring his actual suspect and focusing on me for filming.
I said run his bodycam... You know the one that by policy he turned on before making contact with me,,, you will see the real suspect on that bodycam.
Or you will see he chose not to turn on his bodycam and we know why. So he can lie about the contact with me.

Protect and serve is ignored and too many seem to have the thug mentality that almost seems to be prerequisite and encouraged as the lack of accountability in many cases shows. We all know that in cases there citizens perform same crimes they would face life changing criminal punishments; cops with qualified immunity frequently get away with paid vacations, ready to find employment in neighbouring counties.

That is because politicians (all of them, it isnt party specific) want it that way, if it is hard for you to make a life for yourself you are far more likely to commit a crime, they call it a revolving door for a reason. Plus politicians make a lot of money off of this system, and over 80% of our politicians are lawyers. Then you have the actual laws which give exemptions to police, prosecutors, judges, etc. qualified immunity from doing wrong so there are no real meaningful consequences when they get caught. It is a perfect system for the rich fat cat politicians, police, judges and prosecutors, but the citizens are on their own. Thus is why I call it the Just Us System.

They will probably come after me for saying this, however, here in Terre Haute, IN we are in desperate need of some type of help with how CORRUPT our officers and goverment officials are. They are so horrible to ALL of us. I was pulled over for absolutely nothing, I was door dashing and he was following me and once I spoke to him, he came up with many excuses such as I was supposedly going 50 in a 30 which was untrue and when I defended that he said well why are you driving around and turning around when you saw me, I showed him my phone and said sir, I am door dashing, and he said okay, makes sense and ran all my stuff and then never had a reason to ticket me or arrest me, which proves to me its bull because had i REALLY been speeding I would have been ticketed or jailed for that speed, but I assume since he knows door dash tracks me and my other tracking app as well he coudlnt prove it. They always judge people on their looks as well and rough up people based on their looks. We are all afraid of these officers and we need help.

The power to take a man away from his family for not using a sidewalk is truly an abuse of power. Where is the judge and jury to find this officer guilty of knowing what he is doing is against EVERYTHING he claims to stand for. If something is not done about the amount of power officers have been given to change the course of someone's life for the hell of it whether they've actually done something wrong or not, the harm to OUR communities will only increase. Even after this man explaining this interaction could send him back to prison for years he exhibited no remorse for the abuse of his badge. This officer had nothing but malintent toward this citizen from time they came into contact and definitely needs to be investigated for the countless undeserving men and women I'm sure he's taken away from their families for the economic benefit of himself and his department. What this citizen says about not being able to fight a case effectively while incarcerated is mostly true, if you're not rich and you don't have a Public Defender who actually cares about justice you're 🤬.

Then, last year, I witnessed a vehicle/pedestrian collision where two girls were thrown sixty feet from the force of the impact. I used my flashlight and direct traffic around the victims and responders. Vehicles continued to approach the scene at high speeds so one of the bystanders moved his vehicle into the lane where the victims were to 'block' them from the approaching cars. When the cops arrived, I thought, "Finally, a time when I'm happy the police are here."
One officer immediately began fishing, interrogating the driver, wanting to know why this vehicle was blocking the roadway. 🤷‍♂

@8:06 According to my youtube law degree, not only do they want the man to pay the $160, they also want him to admit guilt. If he pays the fine, means he is guilty, which means IA wont find anything wrong with the arrest, and the guy would have a harder time suing.
Courts seem to bank on the fact that lawyers are not cheap, so at times it seems "better" just to accept guilt and pay the $160, rather than spend $2k to $3k in attorneys fees just to get case dismissed.

I have done the same thing for years walk along streets with no sidewalks so I don't walk in people's yards. It's more suspicious walking in yards at night.

why are you in prison? - for not walking on a non-existing footpath
That is a rosy correctional centre, having officers bring in citizens on such whimsical charges

“I don’t know who you are…” Says the racist cop fabricating a BS crime and giving another petty and weak excuse to arrest rather than assist. A lot of-this is about the character of the recruits to be cops.

This is beyond disturbing and ridiculous. When will these tyrants be held accountable?! So sad to harrass this man and try to continue to ruin his life. They don't want people to be successful after a previous arrest. Prosecutors should be ashamed as well. All about the money. Very suspicious that his bodycam magically was turned off.

My brother was one arrested for being in a cab of a driver with an expired license. My brother had just picked up cash from me to pay the rent that day. Suddenly the money, My Money which I gave him, is confiscated for evidence.
My brother was a passenger in a Cab, and ended up getting treated worse because out of the two of us, he's a dark-skinned minority where I tend to pass for white back then.

You was on paper sir. You should check to see if officers get a bonus for being able to send parolees back to prison by violating their parole. Or if they get some kind of recognition for it. Because I have seen a lot times where if a cop knows you are on probation or parole they will do anything they can to get you VIOLATED and sent back to prison

They are not officers, the are revenue agents for the corporation they work for. They have quotas to fill and that is why they are doing these arrests.

No, this cop was probably bored and was looking for someone to screw with that night...but when a crowd started forming he needed to cover his ass from this illegal stop so instead of him just walking away his ego clicked in and doubled down to the point of making this illegal arrest...knowing that the not walking on the sidewalk will have a snowball's chance in hell of flying so by default the failure to ID wont as well. Side note...I think they probably already dropped the Failure to ID charge because if all they are asking him to do is pay $140 then he isnt be prosecuted for a Class C misdemeanor

21:25 What kind of business? Gang business and it's systemic AND STARTS AT THE TOP. Not all police are bad but it's the bad ones that get highlighted. As in any other employment, bad employees need to be fired because they are damaging the trust of the public, for whom they have taken an oath to protect.
