      The daughter saying to her Mom: "I THINK we're being pulled over." "I din't THINK it's a cop car." EXACTLY, What the hell are people expected to actually do, and how fast do they need to act, in a situation like that? And I bet if they pulled over right away, the cops would have called that "suspicious", and they'd have arrested them for suspicion of.... whatever they could come up with later.

      @sbrasel i was shocked to find that you're correct. Absolutely unacceptable. Makes no sense. And that law should be abolished and replace for the law that makes it clear that for a police officer to pull a vehicle over, they must use flashing lights and have markings on the vehicle that indicate it is a police vehicle. There is no way that I would ever under any circumstances. pull over for an unmarked vehicle that was following me. Neither should anyone else who enjoys living.

From what I know it's very expensive and if they actually go there the price doubles or maybe even triples. Most small towns and suburbs can't afford that. Either way they are not on our side at all and the occasional decent guy usually won't try to expose all the corruption......they will set you up, threaten you and your entire family, stalk you and sit in front of your house night and day, stop you every time you drive and even try to hurt or kill you. those "officers" had no reason to drag the driver out of the car and throw him on the pavement, they gave him no chance to cooperate, they abused him and treated him roughly the entire time, he said he had a back injury and they continued roughly twisting his arms to cuff him. they could have cuffed him standing up which is much easier. all of them should be charged with false arrest, assault, official misconduct, even the district attorney said the officers behaved insanely, so they should have been charged and fired and prevented from working in law enforcement. the officers act like people have no rights, and think they can do anything they want, they are cruel officers and need to go...

      They should be charged with false arrest, assult, official misconduct, tampering with evidence by turning off their body cams, kidnapping with intent to do bodily harm and statutory rape of a minor, violation of rights under the color of law. Lying on their reports as well, and should be put on the Brady list, as they just cost themselves all their credability and obviously have no character what so ever. Meaning, they get paid for their out of pocket expenses and representation fees out of the settlement awarded to the case. They take either 33.3 % or 41% if the case is settled out of court. Its the same as a personal injury attorney's that represent the plaintiffs (party not at fault) for injury's and pain and suffering from a car accident. With contingency fee agreements the client doesn't have to pay anything up front and, like I said the attorney receives payment out of the settlement he gets for his client. Therefore, they dont need a go fund me for attorney representation but maybe for other things they need financial help, and its always a thoughtful gesture.

      @@Vitreous78 If they loose their jobs because of this, it will be included in the civil lawsuit against the police department, and city. It will play a role in the figure awarded for the LE civil right violations. Plus, with what a civil rights attorney already covered in a video of the severity details of this case, more than likely, they will be awarded a hefty sum for what they went through. Although it will never be enough to prevent these type of police brutality and violations until either the money comes out of their own pocket, from their pension (and not the tax payers) and or they end qualified immunity and they can be held legally accountable for their actions. That is what we continue to see with increasing danger to the public.

      Well, technically, in court, it would be conciousness (sp?) of guilt. It not admission, but rather evidence that adds weight against the cops.

    • @DowJonesDave
      @DowJonesDave 7 месяцев назад

      Example: "Your honor, the cops all turned their cameras off at the same time. This implies conspiratorial conciousness of guilt. Or at the very least, tampering with evidence to obstruct justice by said tampering. Turning off the cameras deprives the state and defendant of evidence that may have been recorded, and is tantamount to deleting evidentiary footage. In fact there is no difference between ending a recording and deleting recorded footage. There is also the matter of who owns the recordings. Destruction of state property is a crime. Purposely suppressing evidence is also an offense, unless it was suppressed by a sitting judge. Turning body cams off suppresses evidence."
      I would add an argument that the courts must make a decision regarding deleting footage, or purposely (willfully) de-activating said cameras while discussing the case. New (in the sense of the law) technology requires updating existing law to bring it up to date.
