Maybe there needs to be a federal law making specifically this behavior a crime. Shouting "stop resisting" to someone who is not resisting is clear evidence of bad faith. Such a law should also be explicit that 'tensing up' while you are being attacked and other normal reactions are not resistance. Amazing that it should be necessary to codify such obvious facts, but apparently it is.

-There’s a video of an interview with Carolina’s attorney friend, who bailed her out, on the Civil Rights Lawyer channel.
-He went into detail describing her injuries. She wasn’t snoring, her brain was trying to keep the autonomous function of breathing going. There’s a medical term for it that I can’t remember. It was the day after when things were pretty raw.

I'm no doctor, but it looks to me like a concussion, busted orbital and lip, dislocated (maybe torn) shoulder... possibly a broken nose. I used to manage a fighting gym, and I've seen professional fighters get hospitalized and come out without a cleaner butcher's bill. Granted, they are people who get beat up for (ostensibly) a living, but they are fighting another dude in a ring or cage, and they have doctors to oversee the fight and paramedics present, and they are prepped both mentally and physically to take damage. Anyone even tenuously versed in hand to hand combat (like say, a police officer) inherently understands that the ground is the most basic weapon external to your body, and it's the hardest thing you can hit someone with before you pick up something like a rock or a stick. Forget the legalese and politics for a second... this is a case of straightforward crass disproportion. The reaction is disproportionate, the damage is disproportionate, and the charges are disproportionate. Again, I'm no doctor or lawyer, but I'm also no stranger to interpersonal violence, and this seems absolutely absurd.

Actually 20% of US states still permit private prosecutions under commonlaw. Meaning in those states citizen arrests & prosecutions are %100 legal. Meaning there’s no need to worry about internal investigations - if you have good evidence you can get a lawyer to arrest & prosecute police yourself. Why Americans don’t pursue private prosecutions more often in those states, if they have ironclad video evidence is beyond me.

Krueger used violent force (body slamming a woman half his size into the ground hard enough so that she was unconscious) because she was filming police towing vehicles. There was no crime scene. There was not even a crime. Parking issues. Yes, she was talking (likely annoyed the cops) - but extreme violence was initiated by a criminal cop. Many innocent people have died that way.

Another potential interview suggestion is Justin Pulliam, who just won a pretty good case in Federal Court in Texas (Pulliam v Fort Bend) against a Sheriff who excluded JP from a press conference because he wasn't a "legitimate or credentialed press" reporter...From the decision:
"At the outset, I must address the threshold issue of whether the activities
undertaken by Pulliam-a citizen who posts opinion-laden news coverage of law
enforcement on social media channels-are protected by the First Amendment.

And thank you for your kindness. I have to keep the faith that if, for some awful reason, I am incarcerated for my work, I can trust in people like you. Hopefully, people might reach out and make a noise so I might be released. For quite a few years, my colleague Stephen was warned by "friends" inside the Baltimore City police department that certain officers were looking for an excuse to pin something on him or plant something on him because of his reporting-- so I know the threat is real. I deeply appreciate your kindness and concern and I thank you for watching our work. -taya

“The freedom of individuals verbally to oppose or challenge police action without thereby risking arrest is one of the principal characteristics by which we distinguish a free nation from a police state.” - U.S. Supreme Court, (City of Houston v Hill, 482 U.S. 451, 1987) "Officers of the court have no immunity, when violating a Constitutional right, from liability. For they are deemed to know the law!” - U.S. Supreme Court, (Owen v. Independence, 100 S.C.T. 1398, 445 US 622). Just in case police have any doubt the Court felt compelled to add, "The knowledge that a municipality will be liable for all of its injurious conduct…should create an incentive for officials who may harbor doubts about the lawfulness of their intended actions to err on the side of protecting citizens."
The problem is not the lack of a collective desire for a positive future, but the lack of a collective vehicle for positive action. Organizing is that vehicle and it requires more than mere emergence stage. It requires coalescence in affirmative actions, organized legal actions and civil protest against both political and judicial pillars of power.

The most American thing we can do is exercise our constitutionally protected rights. The most un-American thing public servants can do is deprive those rights afforded by our U.S. Constitution as a representative of government. History has amply demonstrated how this will end up, when the politically powerful are on the wrong side of history .. again. Scholars, journalists and advocates agree, 'nothing will change' until controversy reaches critical mass and we organize for affirmative action in the traditional sense. These are not radical ideas. Our own brief history reminds social activists of successful struggles that once defined us as the embodiment of similar grassroots movements that brought this nation’s practices into concert with its best ideals; the civil rights movement that brought down Jim Crow, the labor movement that resulted in regulations against child labor, and the women’s suffrage movement. We must change 'bad' laws that obstruct our right to remedy including our right to defend ourselves from police assault. We must take action to stand our ground from police assault until critical mass reaches numbers the politically powerful can no longer ignore.
"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." - John F Kennedy, President of the United States of America.

Allowing rogue cops with psychopathic behavior to go out with a gun and badge and the city's permission to do whatever they want, is CRIMINAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ms. Carolyn WILL not see any of these charges stick and will end up filing quite a lawsuit.
She's lucky that she's not dead and so it the city as they will be the one's who will end up with the lawsuit.
Of course, it will be all those "good citizens" of the city who will have to pay the actual moneys out of their own hard earned taxes.
I ALWAYS wonder why there is no huge throng or mob of angry citizens in mass down at the city hall PROTESTING as is their Constitutional right to do say without need of a permit or to pay a fee.
I may be wrong but I don't think so.............these "good citizens" are either just lazy assholes or think that THAT could never happen to them.
    But it does..............all the time.
IF that mob of "good citizens" would only do the right thing and make a serious attempt to show their government that they are fed up with this kind of behavior and get people in power ousted and fired, maybe one of them would take over and run things right.
WE THE PEOPLE of America are fast losing our control over out own government and it's getting worse everyday.
Look at the FBI and DOJ who care more about their political agendas than what they were established to do.
The latest FBI crime was when they invaded that security company and stole people's valuables.
They can't even find out where or what happened to those very expensive gold coins, cash and jewels.
They have been made by a federal judge to come up with a monetary replacement but we all know that it is WE THE PEOPLE who are having to come up with that money.
WE recently saw where the "FBI love couple" were able to do something that was supposed to be impossible.......SUE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. They did it and won!!
Funny how a young student who was out walking to his second job and was attacked by an FBI agent in plain clothes and a marshaled sheriff's deputy who never revealed who they were to him as he was grabbed and his wallet yanked out of his pocket then ran cause he thought he was being mugged and then was violently tackled and arrested has yet to see any lawsuit materialize against either of the government criminals. That was 10 years ago.
The DOJ practices NO law enforcement over-site or upgrade law enforcement's training by extending the police academy's time and academics with emphasis on Constitutional law to better train and equip America with officers who are then given guns and a badge to go out and "serve and protect".
    It has become a joke.
There isn't even a psychiatric support for officers who are just as vulnerable to PTSD and other mental maladies just from the daily stresses of their jobs.
The police unions don't want to admit that there even is a psychiatric problem with law enforcement.
So, we get officers who go out and tase and tackle deaf guys who don't even know that they are being told to "halt" for questioning. Or diabetics who while driving have an episode and are pulled over for being DUI and then beaten as they are in a coma.
Or old ladies off their meds who are walking down a road and tackled by a cop cause they're not "responding" to an officer's demands.
WE THE PEOPLE need to take back our government and stop this insanity of malfeasance, violence and crime by the very people who are supposed to be looking out for us.
I'm not talking about an all out civil war like some skin headed fanatic but the actions of responsible American citizens who care about their country and it's well being as well as safety.
I think our Supreme Court needs to get out and do some touring in cars and maybe get a pull over to see what goes on especially being subject to those laws they have initiated.

He didn’t call EMS, didn’t check on her, didn’t pick her up from the ground. That’s a choice they make.
