  • If you need help understanding how to install a Samsung Dryer Heating Element, then I made this video through the other videos I've compiled over the past year. If your Samsung Dryer won't heat, knowing how to get to the element is a useful thing to know.
    If you find you have a bad element, I suggest ERP elements as I've had great success with them: bit.ly/3xUNbfc
    Another Element + Sensor kit we sell: bit.ly/4eqEz5R
    The full entire heater canister can be replaced all at once with the sensors, making it a really, really fast fix. You can get the whole cannister here: bit.ly/3y7StnT
    Tools I use in all videos can be found at my Amazon Idea Page: www.amazon.com...

    So I was about to call a repair guy, their minimum was $500, was about to buy a new unit $1200. Decided to buy a $40 part and try my best. Watched this video, and it worked! Not only did you save me hella money, you made me feel like I climbed the ladder of a man/husband/dad. Thank you so much for this video!

    This tutorial is all you need to replace the heat in your samsung dryer. I watched this twice; got my drill and vacuum and went to work. The entire process took 1 and half hours. Dryer fixed and running smooth with heat. Thank you for this video, you saved me a bunch of money in repairs.

Only suggestion I would have for when you are putting back together to show which screws you are using for us idiots who didn't keep track of what type we took out.

    This video was amazing! I thought I would try replacing the heating element myself and I was totally able to! My husband was very impressed. I also noticed one of the wheels was broken and replacing that fixed the grinding noise my drying was making. I never thought I would be able to fix a dryer, but your instructions were amazing. I was told to put all your screws in a muffin tin as you take them out. Then it is much easier keeping track of them.

    Thanks so much for this video. I found it to be very informative and even though my model isn't exactly like this model shown, it was similar enough where I experienced no surprises. One word of caution for those who may attempt this, the edges on the metal can be a little sharp so beware when handling. Also, if you are reluctant to give this a try on your own, as I mentioned, this video left no surprises. Very well done. Start to finish the repair took me only about an hour.

      He owns a few rental properties and also moved his personal house this year. Thats caused him a lot of work so he had to suspend his videos and store for awhile. He has a few or is getting, some Air BnB's so his focus has changed a bit. He did say he was going to do more appliance videos soon though, because his old ones continue to do well.

Couldn’t get no one out to fix it, no one was certified and by the time my extra warranty went out is when I got a call about a technician to come out. I still have these two collecting dust. The washer quit spinning and the dryer the touch board went crazy. (I touch one thing it would do another) Any recommendations? Trash or repair? Thank you and God bless!

    hey hey for the line up of the heating element could you use toothpicks and tension to keep them lined up while reassembling?

    • @bensappliancesandjunk
      @bensappliancesandjunk  2 года назад +1

      That could possibly work. The biggest issue is pressing it together while being able to drop something in to hold it in place. When filming something like this, its hard to really get an optimal camera angle AND press it together AND drop something in the opposite-side hole to keep the form despite it wanting to press itself apart. If you had a third hand or helper, you could do that and turn a 5 minute job into 5 seconds, really.

  • @drbrono
    @drbrono Год назад +6

    While I found the video very helpful since I was having the same problem. However, based on my experiences with ordering parts from him, I would NOT recommend his business. I placed an order for the heating element unit and paid extra to have it delivered in 1 - 3 days. The order confirmation said I would receive it three days from my order date and there was a tracking number. All the tracking number gives you is that a label had been generated. After not getting my part after three days and the tracking still saying that only a label had been generated, I tried emailing him - I NEVER got a response. The following day I tried contacting him via his website - NEVER got a response. A day later, the tracking number finally showed the item had shipped and finally got the part SEVEN days after I ordered it. VERY POOR customer service and untruthful regarding shipping.

    I did all that in December replaced everything but every 3-4 months I’m having to keep replacing the thermal cutoff fuse do you have any suggestions on why would that fuse keeps blowing off ? And I’m ordering from your website so I don’t know what else to do? If you can give me advice on what to do I’ll appreciate it

    • @bensappliancesandjunk
      @bensappliancesandjunk  Год назад

      Either the vent is blocked, or the motor is overheating. Usually they only trip if the fuse is overheating, causing it to pop. Overheating usually means its not blowing the hot air out fast enough. That or it keeps providing heat and isn't trigger it off which can be the motor. Or a grounded element.

    • @bensappliancesandjunk
      @bensappliancesandjunk  2 года назад

      You'd need to replace the fan... That's a Daewoo-built refrigerator, and its a very, very common issue that the fan will freeze with ice and lock up.
      Edit: I REALLY AM WANTING to get a Daewoo refrigerator specifically to fix this problem, because its so, so common now from the tech circles I run in. The fan is not that cheap and difficult to find, too, so I've made some calls to parts companies to try and find a more affordable item.

    There's another video that shows you how to replace the heating element without removing the drum. This takes way too mudh effort and time.

    • @bensappliancesandjunk
      @bensappliancesandjunk  5 месяцев назад

      In general, if you find faults or issues outside of the element that caused it to fail, you need to remove the drum for that. Thus this video. 9 times out of 10, the element just doesn't randomly fail on these machines. Thus why I suggest removing the drum. That, and literally it takes 3 more minutes to pull the drum to more easily access the machine.

    This is absolutely overkill disassembly If all you need to do is replace the heating or the sensors in the canister. The thermosistors routinely go bad in these models and can be replaced in about ten minutes by only removing the front panel.

    • @bensappliancesandjunk
      @bensappliancesandjunk  Год назад +3

      Taking the drum out adds maybe 3 minutes of disassembly time to the repair and prevents an absolute novice from damaging something else or not having a clear picture of how to do it. Sure, if you do this many times you can avoid it, but for someone that's never touched the cannister element, trying to fit your hands in and removing sensors is going to be a mess that I'd prefer people avoid.
