Hey Creeps! We have Mr. David Hornsby a.k.a. Rickety Cricket stopping by the pod for an upcoming episode. What questions do you have for him?
how would the show have been different if he played Rob’s character? and what is the worst thing they’ve ever made him do in hair/makeup or otherwise
How many lemons did it take to get him on the show?
How much of cricket's disfigurement (both physical and reputational) was Hornsby's idea?
I gotta know how he felt about the increasing volume of makeup that was necessary for his character as the show progressed
He plays F / Marry / Kill w/ Rob, Charlie, Glenn ----
When Charlie does Ad reads all I can think of and hear is "IS YOUR CAT MAKING TOO MUCH NOISE?!!!!?!!"
The ads suck.
Lmaoooo!!!!
@@chriskiefer7493 they can't never really not suck am I right? At least these guys try to put their spin and crack a few jokes along the way.
@@JuanMartinez-cv7hr Bill Burr's ad reads are hilarious, they're the only ads that I don't skip. Conan O'Brien's are funny too.
is your cat a skinny, fat or an in-between?
it doesn't matter because- one size fits all!
Love that Rob did an ocular pat down of Schrader’s office and noticed the gun lmao
Birds *do* have fragile bones. Hope you get better soon, Kaitlin!!
Those giant stork like legs are like pendulums
I’d say you could consider them, hollow
She was probably punting a football
@@RicardoAGuitar i wonder if that particular joke/scene was written because of Kaitlin breaking bones so easily. By that point I'm pretty sure she had already broken her foot.
Bones made of glass! 😆
The moment at 53:20 when Rob says, "I'll send ya a link" and Glenn responds, "Nah that's alright". Hilarious.
Lol So casual and immediately moved on
I love the running joke that Glenn doesn’t know or care about Mythic Quest.
haha yo I had to comment the exact same thing. such a precious moment
@@cheesecake134 you mean Mr Quest? Lol

Always Sunny is the only show I can think of that's gone past 8 seasons without a massive decline in quality. Some of its best episodes are from recent seasons. That's one of the most impressive things about it.
Cheers, Curb, Frasier, Friends.
Charlie explaining Glenn's exact process of thinking in the psychopath bit shows how well you guys know each other.
I love you ❤️

Your also a trooper mate, only second to the bird
"The guys solve traffic accidents." LMAO
Dude. I love how you put your own stylistic spin on naming the bits. It is very Always Sunny to welcome, incorporate, and encourage input from contributors that ultimately become a part of the whole show's culture in general. Keep it up every episode, if you can, please!
Dr. Beeblebrox Solves the Podcast Problem
The hero we need, not the one we deserve
“Ladies and gentle creeps” best thing to hear on a Monday lmao 🤣
I love Sunny because they DO have these long storylines like Breaking Bad, where you see people "progressing" through it. We see the way Frank turns from a flashy, savvy businessman to an absolute deranged animal. We've seen Mac struggle with his issues & watch him accept himself and begin to find who he really is. We've watched the devolution of Cricket & almost everyone else who comes into contact with the gang (Artemis, The Waitress, Bill Ponderosa, Bastet, The Lawyer etc etc) all be dragged into the chaos.
character development ... is not a story line outside of the 2 parter episodes there has been no serialization of this show
Everytime Megan’s webcam is off I assume she’s drinking
She doesn’t want us to see her winking 😉
I love how you can hear her trying to hold back her laughter, for the sake of the podcast. That's not an easy task!! Shes adorable
Her camera is winking back
That stack of wine behind her is not for decoration. 😁
She’s doing a line.
You'd think someone who breaks bones as easily as Kaitlin does would be less eager to do the "Dee injurs herself" scenes herself
I'm so glad the whole "assplay" thing got these guys tickled as much as me lol
Tickling, is that the assplay Frank was talking about?
I’d rather a bad day of assplay than a good day of asswork
If you love your job, you’ll never work a day in your life #liveloveassplay
You’re gonna be satisfied, and I’m gonna be satisfied, and you’re gonna get your body worked one way or the other 💪#whyioughta
better than asswork
So just so you’re aware, the horse running at the end was NOT a waste of money. These two episodes were the first ones I made my mother watch, and she is an avid fan to this day. Cricket playing and singing and seeing that horse run with the music under it, still my moms favorite Always Sunny moment.
Glenn, I liked your story about your experience on that 80s show and auditions. I enjoy all your guys stories about the entertainment industry… the struggles, the good, the bad. You’re awesome dude
Glen? Is that you?
@@joshwhite5407 I wish lol
Just
I absolutely lost it when Glenn told his story about realizing he was too tipsy right before an audition, then stares into the camera, "and I absolutely f***ing nailed it." so funny

“ENOUGH WITH THE O’S!!!” I die every time at that scene.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That and "Flourish the pinky" are two of my favorite single lines in IASIP and I use them any chance I get. They are just so absurd and hilarious

I love how Glenn criticizes Mac on his appearance like he does in the show 😆 and then the Bird broke her foot like in the episode where they try out for the Philadelphia Eagles 🤣 "bones made of Glass" "my ankle is surly broken!"
I AM SHATTERED TO PIECES!!!
I loved hearing Glenn's insight towards working on That 80's Show, everything he said revealed all we needed to know about why that show did not work.
top 3 scene is when everyone is in the car all yelling different insults at Mac HAHA Dennis goes " we cannot have you screwing things up for us" hahaha
Thank you for posting these on the mornings of the worst day of the week. Really helps.
For sure it's the highlight of my Monday and much needed lol
I was going through some hard times a few weeks ago and a couple co workers suggested this show.. so I gave it a try and I hadn't laughed that much in years. One of the best comedies I have seen and such a amazing show.
@@joshua6207 Lucky you I'd love to rediscover sunny think I binged five seasons within cple weeks before I caught up then had to wait like the rest lol

@@MrMongoose221 I only just started season 5.. But thanks bro I'm good now. The laughs definitely helped alot 🤣🍻
I always forget that this is how I start off a new week week while getting ready Monday mornings.
for some reason i find that rob has some jack nicholson eyebrow's action popping up here and there, it was like watching the dvd logo hitting a corner experience when they make their appearance and i just couldn't stop watching for that slim eyebrow cameo over the whole pod
Those eyebrows are pretty extreme, it's interesting
@@Happyburn and new ?

A bubble boy suit for Kaitlin before she leaves the house would be good, but what if there was a breach?
"Hes a BUBBLE BOY, he lives in a BUBBLE"
Its okay just don't let Danny know
Don't tell frank
Well, I mean, she would have a booze dispenser hosed into the mask of course. So that would help.
Her talons would rip right through the suit
Hope Kaitlin's sitting on trash cans singing, "They broke my foot but they didnt break my spiiirit".
Charlie really is a wildcard. Can you imagine everyone bouncing down the road uncontrollably?
I can't stop laughing 😂
In his self driving Tesla 🤣🤣
the massive destruction of non-bouncy property and deaths of pedestrians would be worth it
honestly I've had the same thought. it seems like cars are just designed in a way that can kill you because it made sense in like 1870. the rolling design with a chair in the middle though, I think that's been tried, it's out there somewhere.
@@pauliewalnuts5241 tesla's next model the battery powered self driving rubberball car. Safer for the environment and safer for the driver.
This is the best ep so far. Love it when you guys start talking shop about the creative process and your experiences.
Rob, you need to understand that people were pissed at the NFTs, it's way past the point where everyone knows how objectively bad they are. Hell it's something ya'll've probably made fun of In an episode of Sunny so it's just really embarrassing to see
As soon as he said "i got hate for launching a tech entertainment company" I knew what he really meant was NFTs, but he didn't want to say it...
ofc he knows, he is scamming people.
Yeah kinda sucked that he considered them "haters" and on the same level as people who hate when women get jobs?
@@HamishSteele That was not his addition and that's about the show. Don't conflate the two.
After hearing Glenn used to drink shots before an audition makes me feels like Paul Shrader could write a movie about Glenn's failed auditions and forgetting his murders.
or maybe The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, still a comedy, but instead of Nic Cage, it's Glenn, and he's low key murdering people the whole time.
The "is the dick worth it" tweet caught my eye because Ethel Cain is a brilliant musician!
"Anybody got a light!? 🔫"
Love Frank at the end of this episode🤣
"Ladies and Gentlecreeps" made me laugh. Love these little gems that you guys come up with
Holds up an empty container "brought it all the way to Canada. But I drank it." 😂 The product advertisement conversations crack me up. I love these guys so much
This podcast just proves they based the gang on themselves
Glenn : Psychopathy
Rob:Ocular pat down

Great quote for life at this moment in time:
"The best ideas gotta win" Charlie Day
This is probably the only podcast that I actually enjoy listening to them do ads, haha you guys would’ve thrived in radio
Just watched the episode on Hulu &
Now it's time to smoke a bowl and listen to some of my favorite people reminisce.
I feel like im hangin out with some old friends..
This show has always been there for me, it's gotten me through the worst of times and it was there for me at the best of times. I cannot really say this about any other show or movie.
Aloha from Hawaii.
Sunny can only end with an episode about everyone aging to open up the inevitable comeback show 20 years later
@42:10 i like how Frank is like " And then, i'll reach for a light and START BLASTIN!" then later without any direct threat, hes just like "anyone got a light?!" *pulls gun*😂
I mention you all rock every time. Starting to feel like a lunatic. I continue to appreciate your work and dedication to this podcast.
That 80's Show is actually pretty great. They even use the Killing Joke song in the title card sequence, which is printed on record sleeves. Classic
Charlie’s brain reminding me why I love him so much😂😂💚
I remember truly believing that sunny was in real decline around seasons 11-13, but I realise now that that's mostly because I was comparing the new episodes to ones that I'd seen 20 times or more (I got into sunny after S9 and would just let them run on repeat). So I was judging new episodes, feeling like they weren't having a lasting impact on me, because I'd only watched them once or twice expecting them to do better, because I was doing it in comparison to episodes I already knew inside out. Now if I'm replaying sunny there's no question I'm watching the later stuff too and it feels as good as the earlier stuff now.
And the last season was fantastic, definately shot back up. It's all great, they just set the bar SO high in seasons 3-6, but 15 is right up there with the best of them to me.
Season 12 is one of the best
Same
Had the same feeling a few years back, but now i have a system: i watch the new episodes as they are released, then when the whole season is out i binge it again in one day. And then i start from s1e1 and watch till the last episode so that the show is played like one beautiful symphony, with new episodes and all. Its the best. (Yes, i have no life)
Rob pitching "Synchro Scalyface" as the name of the horse to a confounded writers' room is one of the funniest things I've ever heard. I was listening to the podcast while I dozed this morning, and my subconscious heard that part and I woke up in convulsions laughing.
I love when Mac and Frank slap Dennis back and forth for a minute... hilarious
That moment where Glenn denies having ever murdered anyone 😂 he looks guilty as shit
"My bottle was chiseled by the gods
themselves, Creeps. My bottle was sculpted
to the proportions of Michelangelo's David’s AG1 bottle.”
- Glenn kinda
The final Sunny episode should be every character catching breaks in their lives and looks like the gang might finally go separate ways , then it all goes to shit in epic fashion, They head back to Paddy's to lick their wounds and make the next wild plan that has no chance of working, they head out the door, Charlie turns on the open sign as they leave for the night.
I mean they kinda did versions of that in a couple episodes (not for everyone together, but separate episodes for each). Like The gang broke Dee; Frank is back in business; the one where Dennis leaves to go raise his kid; the one where Charlie starts living with the waitress…
My favorite part of this episode has got to be Cricket playing trash can drums and talking about "making it sexy".
hips and nips, otherwise he ain't eatin'
This is one of the best parts of my week
I’m almost always watching Sunny, and it’s the same with the podcast (: the second it drops I’m here baby! Love the show, love you guys! Keep it up
Charlie having that picture of Frank on the wall behind him is so sweet, derivative, but sweet.
What a creep...
@@TheCotinga an Erotic life.
13:42 when Glenn burps into the mic, the reaction from Rob is so cute and funny, it makes me belly laugh!
I hope the guy who almost fought Rob at the drive through of In - N - Out calls.
The way Glenn responds to Robs offer to send him a link to mr quest episode. Kills me
*Another* great team up with Charlie and Dee (the coke hustle); probably the funniest since not wanting to eat a black guy, lol!
I don’t usually comment but I have to say when I feel terrible or really bad about myself, I love hanging out with you guys and I usually listen, not usually a creep, but watching you guys together and and the addition of Megan. It’s just a big breath of air for me. Thanks y’all.
Such a a great episode. I love the energy of the gang in this podcast!
The Legacy hasn't been ruined.. More Sunny and more Sunny Podcast... Were still here!!!
never end the show. I wanna see Charlie Morph into Frank as he ages
54:45 Please, don't stop making Always Sunny. I was so happy after thinking you guys had decided to hang up your hats with Sunny and saw you had made another season. With any creative endeavor, the quality will ebb and flow and bit. Some episodes will be subjectively better than others and some objectively better than others. I love the chaos and wacky scenarios you get your characters into. Keep making it. Don't kill that cash cow, either. Lol
Loved Rob's opening point about everyone having a bad day from time to time. I needed to hear that after a rough one I had.
I really tune in for the steady laughs but the extra intangibles like this really ignite & elevate this podcast into the sky where it turns into stars and fills the bar with the nice smokey smell we all know and love
Rob is looking as young as he did when he & Mac had tattoos. It makes his insecurity about last week seem so silly.
Is all his tattoos gone?
@@zgfffgg4124 yes :(
@@zgfffgg4124 yep
Who else is very much anticipating the Fat Mac episodes getting broken down and Rob having to watch himself in peak physical condition.
Regarding the compilation episode about cricket, I hope they do one for pondy as well, that character doesn't get enough attention and they should get Lance Barber on the podcast for it, also Jimmi Simpson should get his own episode just for how much the guys mention him.
Watching every season for the 3rd time, never gets old
Loving Glenn gaslighting Rob about his "puffy faced" appearance a la the Dennis and Mac relationship :D
🤣🤣🤣 "your hair looks small"

THE END OF SUNNY:
Final Season Breakdown:
Dennis finally gets arrested for suspicion of murder, a young coed that he attempted the D.E.N.N.I.S. SYSTEM on. He spends most the season in jail with continuous visits from the others in the gang, who need advice for certain situations. He stays there after Mac confesses his undying love for Dennis, and Dennis destroys him with words, sending Mac back out into a lonely world, yet-
Charlie once again tries to propose to the Waitress, but just before she can say "I DO NOT WANT YOU IN MY LIFE, CHARLIE" she gets hit by a bus right after she says "I DO-" and Charlie tells the paramedics and hospital staff (he rode along in the ambulance) that he's her fiancé. The Waitress is now quadriplegic and can't speak, so she is trapped in the prison of her own body, and now Charlie is completely dedicated to taking care of her, a fate worse than death.
Mac, upon being destroyed by Dennis's harsh final monologue, he walks out in shame, but another visitor to the jail, overheard his confession and tells Mac that that act of love was BADASS. This beefcake boosts Mac's confidence, and he asks Mac out for coffee. Mac accepts and goes off into an uncertain yet hopeful future.
Frank's tumor that has been hinted at finally starts to take a fatal turn as Frank gets crazier and crazier until he finally dies after plenty of spectacle, the whole time, Dee plays handler and wet-nurse for him until the ultimate, the whole time scamming him out of his secret fortunes.
Sweet Dee scams Frank out of his money as he enters dementia, with the help of Artemis and Cricket, until she has ownership of the bar, Artemis is now the main waitress, Charlie still does Charlie Work with his crippled wife doll, and Cricket handles the money responsibilities, Hispanic Frank is the Bartender and the one-eyed Lawyer who isn't Jewish is the host.
The remaining gang sends Frank off at a funeral by the dumpster where the gang throws Frank's body into the trash. Final shot is the dumptruck driving away with Frank's body and a week's worth of Paddy's trash.
THE END. TAKE AS YOU WILL.
- KEVIN LOGAN
Ur literally a genius lmao
lmao you guys were on fire this episode! even the ad-reads had me cracking up.
the cut to the into card was so funny. like I didn't expect it and that being what Charlie said last is jus hilarious
31:55 I feel the exact same way about every job I've ever had. Having ideas about how we can do things better, people above me not understanding what we were doing or the point of it, getting frustrated because of that, and then not having any confidence or belief in myself because of the people above me and becoming depressed because people are working against each other and I'm in an arbitrarily ruled machine where ego rules the day.
Except none of my jobs have been in the entertainment industry. I'm gonna spend the rest of my life working dead end jobs being miserable aren't I?
If they get what they want.
My criticism of Sunny: Fat Mac was the best Mac and killing Country Mac was the least badass thing you ever did.
Agree about Country Mac. I often wonder if they've considered bringing him back somehow. He was great.

I DIED at Glenn's passing line about priests taking a shot before their sermons lmaoo; "what you guys didn't have priests like that?"

I love how Rob scanned for any threats and noticed the gun.
I truly truly truly love its always sunny and i hope ya’ll keep making it forever
"But we're never gonna end the show."
And ill never stop watching. Love everyone involved with this show.
“Nincompoop,” meaning fool or idiot, was traced back to its first usage in the 1670s by Jonson in his Dictionary of 1755. He believed the word to have come from the Latin legal term, “non compos mentis”, which translates to insane or mentally incompetent or not of sound mind.
This episode and part 1 are my absolute favorite episodes.
Love that ending.
“We are never going to end the show” then with a small Yeah in the background 😂

Can we get a "The Gang Goes To London" episode? I want to see Charlie outside Buckingham Palace!
These two were the first episodes of sunny I ever saw and I was hooked immediately 💖
I died laughing during Dennis bailing on the psycho bit 💀
How did Megan, Rob AND Charlie all manage to not reference Glenn being in Crank during all the “Lean into the crank” banter? Missed opportunity! 😂 ✌️

Series should end with a trial of the gang who allegedly killed frank for an inheritance. The episode is just flashbacks to tell each story and confirm Frank died accidentally. They all go back to the bar and remain shitty friends
Or they find that all of them each tried to kill him in a different way but none of their attempts was the thing that killed him.
So just aim for completely unsatisfying? Interesting 🤔

I just love that Charlie has that Frank picture
At the beginning of season 7 i thought the show jumped the shark but the second half of that season kicked into gear and id say seasons 9-12 gave it a whole new life

As funny as it sounded, the rubber cars issue is a legitimate question we need to ask
"I don't know what the windshield is..." lol I too, love the way Charlie's mind works. My friends and I have talked about this before. Rubber cars man!!!
To be fair, the episode where Dennis leaves to be a father could have been your last episode, it was really touching but wasn't necessarily completely out of character, and the rest of the gang carried on being pieces of shit and blowing up his car but that made them all happy which in itself was a nice moment.
I'm glad it didn't end there though, I'm happy for this show to go on forever 😍
