I'd love to hear about your ideas for Cricket as a character. Where did you imagine he would go as a character at the time of filming? Did you think he would get to the point where he is now?

Did you guys debate having Danny shoot some rounds into the ceiling again when he walks into the bar with his gun out towards the end? It seemed like maybe that had been part of the plan at some point but maybe it’s just in my head. Also, I love both Ape Leebio and Mister Quest!! You guys are all so talented, Charlie I won’t stroke your ego cause you don’t need it, you’ve got so much good work out there lol
I think Crickets journey really goes to shit in this episode. Was this the episode where you knew that he was going to be one of the funniest and longest running gags?
When it was decided that Hornsby would not be playing the role of Mac did they already have the character or idea of Cricket created or was that something they worked on specially for Hornsby to be on the show, Also The character of Cricket, did they know right from the beginning how his character would develop throughout the series and his extreme downfall or is it something that just developed over time, Like Charlie and Dee getting him Sell coke in this episode and that being the final push of the life he use to have being gone forever
Of course we want Kaitlin and Danny to come on the podcast but honestly I'd love to see Hornsby on here. Cricket must have some interesting perspectives...
I'd prefer his episodes though, ones where he was more directly involved like his debut

Yeah it’s kinda upsetting. Not only is it uncommon for them all to be in an entire episode now, but I’d love for them to be in the same room. The connection they had together there is unmatched. Now they barely record an episode where they are each present.

@@AaronBowley There are plenty of podcasters who are famous or busy. I know we aren’t guaranteed the podcast and I don’t take it for granted. But when throughout an episode they are exiting the room and one is absent then the next episode the other is absent and so on. Megan is the only person present in the episodes and she put in all this work, yet they can’t set aside at least an hour a week? I know they’re very busy, but it just seems like they don’t wanna do it anymore and if they don’t want to do it I would rather them not feel obligated to do it.

Guys, I've said this before, but i really think Meg is the best producer of any podcasts out there that I'm aware of. Her sense of humor and the way she cuts these episodes is SPOT ON to make me crack up, and probably many other Sunny fans. She's sly as heck, you guys are the best at this. ❤️ 📸 🖥️🌞

I think robs idea to unearth some deleted scenes is great. You could give Megan access to the old footage and that way you would all see it for the first time in years and would be interesting to hear your thoughts, you could even dedicate a whole episode to it and If shes given enough time to source the material I reckon it would become the most popular episode so far

As a sunny fan, I'd LOVE to see Meg on Hot Ones! Hearing that she tried for 8 years to get on Sunny and her questions make me confident she's THE ultimate Sunny fan.
When it comes to how the mob works in the real world, I’ve always loved Larry Lawton’s channel on RUclips. He was a big time jewel thief back in the 90s, got caught, and went to prison to 12 years. Now he does work supporting prison reform and uses his channel to share his experiences with organized crime. Lots of great info on the New York mob scene!

Back in high school (02-06) we would use "going on AOL" as slang for smoking the electric lettuce. That started because of the free trial discs and someone showed up with a couple small nugs in one of the sleeves.

A manager I had in Philly at a sandwich shop in 2001 was definitely in the witness protection program. He was an Italian guy named "Jerry", about 50 with tattoos up and down his arms and chest and he didn't really worry about the things the other managers did, like getting everything right so corporate would be pleased. He knew his job was secure. The way he talked, his attitude, everything told me he was a gangster and he was actually cool as hell. I always joked, semi-seriously that he must be a gangster in witness protection. He would laugh but it was not like he denied it, ever. I was leaving the state and when I left the job and it was my last day working with him he said to me "Hey Brett, you know that stuff you were saying about who I am? You might just be right." I left it at that because you can't really get much more of an affirmation.

Absolutely hands down one of my all time favorite episodes. If I’m having a bad day I put this episode one. Never fails to make me laugh uncontrollably.
Goodfellas is the best gangster movie for sure. Anytime I hear a helicopter I have to put the music(no headphones)on my phone from the chase scene and act paranoid. It plays pretty well downtown with the cracksmoking folks.
