Dennis and Dee in stupid outfits stalking the Waitress with the squeaky shoes! Actually, all the Dennis and Dee stuff in this episode is top-tier -- they shit on each other while still sharing the same single brain cell lol. I also like how it connects to the psychology stuff in Charlie Got Molested. But I could just as easily pick Charlie doing his "objection!" shtick when Frank questions Mrs Mac. Or when he asks Mac if he snapped into an alternate personality at the end. Or Frank starting the chainsaw.
I know we all like to point out how Glenn is so much like Dennis, but we should also appreciate that he seems like a very sweet, supportive friend. The way he realized Rob was genuinely upset over being late and reassured him it was fine and he should calm down was really nice. Also made me think of how happy he was when Kaitlin showed up for the St. Patrick's Day podcast.
Rob is the absolute most unlike Mac. He seems like a real dick irl. The podcasts ruined everything for me when it came to Mac. I used to love him. Charlie and Glenn seem so awesome.
Glenn isn’t Dennis lol. It’s a character. The fact that he is a sweet supportive friend has everything to do with Glenn being a good person. Fans are weird. Edit: some fans are weird.
One thing I love about the scene with Dennis having to come back to reality of not actually killing the Waitress is that he says "yeah but it's not actually as fun as [really killing her]" and Dee says "Yeah I know, I know, but it's good enough". It's very blink and you miss it but it carries the implication that Dee also fully understands that it's 'not as much fun' because she also has these fantasies. The twins having these bonding/friendly moments over their mutual monstrousness is one of my favourite background things in the show.
That was fucking brilliant to come up with off the top of her head, I loved both of her dark jokes. Ignore those guys Megan I say lean into the dark side lol

@southern discomfort Hot take, could you elaborate? Personally, the combination of an incredibly well-researched yet down-to-earth interviewer talking to some of my favourite celebs in a format which really humanises them is very enjoyable.
@southern discomfort I mean, you could have just not replied? Why take the time to say you're not going to do something, when there is no reason not to do it? "The bald guy is too intense and asks questions too fast, you don't get a good answer because they're stressing about the wings, seeing people eat and sweat is gross" - see how easy it is to justify an opinion? I was genuinely interested in your opinion and instead you were just weird. Good luck with every conversation you have.
Glen gently telling Rob to calm down is perhaps the only time I've heard that phrase said in a way that actually felt gentle and reassuring (as opposed to infuriating)
There's just to many legendary scenes. That is one of my favorites but I have so many. "Not so young and attractive is she?" 😂 My favorite dennis scene is "My nose was chiseled by the gods themselves, my body sculpted to the proportions of Michelangelos David"
love that you guys spent a lot of time breaking down the episode this time. I love all the distractions and off shoot conversations too, but I really enjoy the longer ep discussions :) especially for this episode which is one of the greats
It was kind of sweet and heartwarming to see how sincere Rob was to everyone about being late. like dude could've just made a bunch of jokes about it, but to be kinda vulnerable for half a minute was wholesome.
I like it when the gang has paid sponsorships and they tell me to try the product or service. I feel like I'm getting in on the ground floor of a reverse funnel system with them. Invigaron.
The fact that in this episode they revealed right away that Mac wasn’t a serial killer instead of at the end just made it even more funny, because it shows just how worked up the rest of the gang was over absolutely nothing lol
These episodes just keep getting better. I loved Meg playing the voice of the average viewer giving amazing prompt questions! Going through the episode deep details and talking about what they liked critically and then moving through it to transition to where they were in life then and how they are now. This is so great can't wait to keep watching this evolve.
Surprised there hasn’t been a DMV episode. Would be a fun context for the gang….Frank does need a new license…sacred place for Dennis, essential for proof of legal age

"Honey bunch" is my favorite track of the entire Always Sunny score so I'm happy that it got mentioned here, but also the rest of the score is so so good!
Love what Megan said about appreciating when people are direct and treat you like an equal vs being passive aggressive and uncommunicative. I also prefer directness and honesty but pretty much everyone I know is a delicate doily that can’t handle criticism
This episode has my favorite moment from the show... -- Dennis getting excited to choke the waitress and then getting disappointed when he remembers they aren't actually planning to kill her. It's his genesis as a true psychopath. -- edit: 11:32 - Yay!
@@kylietravis3427 Yeah, the "fantasy choke" from the beginning of Dennis gets Divorced is good too but it doesn't have that cherry on top of disappointed realization and "changing gears"...
Charlie's "No one dies when that happens. Not usually," in response to discussing masturbation vs. murder victims was not acknowledged and it probably should have been.
19:29 "I want to be with you, I just don't want anyone to see me with you." or something like that. It would be funny if you did an episode kind of like that but where Mac's hiding that he's dating a notorious homophobe/anti-gay propagandist and the gang's all criticizing him for backstepping from his sexuality and the guy he's dating treats him exactly the way he treats Carmen. Like at the end of the episode he could just repeat what Mac said to Carmen or something.
I love the scene where charlie is talking to frank about how frank was doing some weird stuff with his genitals one morning and frank says "We can go tit for tat on that one so you better drop that subject" as if they're both big time lawyers who are trash talking each other
Rob is detailing his fantasies about Glenn while calling us creeps. I liked this one best so far. Can't wait for next weeks episode. It's about happy boys. HAPPY BOYS!
Rob seems like a good dude. It's awesome to us fans to see a show who's cast seem to be truly good friends and it shows in your work as well. Thanks for years of laughs boys!
1. And now we know where Mac being secretly in love with Dennis comes from -- Rob's prurient obsession with Glenn's orgasms. 2. Glenn has been super sweet the past 2 episodes -- is he on a mission to convince us he's not really like Dennis after all? 3. Will I ever be able to watch this show and not attempt to psychoanalyze their relationship dynamics??
This podcast has made me respect all of you (Glenn, Rob, Charlie) so damn much. It's nice to get a feel for how you guys are outside of sunny. Each of you seem like stand up guys and I find myself nodding and agreeing with so much that you guys talk about. Massive fan of the show too btw...I have never laughed more frequently or harder watching anything else. It's truly one of a kind and I'm glad you guys are keeping it going after all these years. Thank You!!
I 100% thought that it was implied you wrote this so that Gary was only killing blond women BECAUSE of his infatuation and obsession with Sweet D, like the set up that she knew him WELL beforehand, like I'm talking a decade or more (Whenever she moved into her apartment), because she water his plants, she treated him like a dog at the hardware store, the little things that her preexisting relationship with him made him the man that he became, that D's influence on him, whether that be for better or worse, made Gary into that serial killer. And now you're telling me there was no forethought about this whatsoever and that it fit perfectly with the theme of the show without ever intentionally doing so? WOW!! That's genius for ya! lol
yeah I was totally surprised to hear that was unintentional. though maybe the joke to that setup was meant to be that Dee could have figured it out but was too oblivious and self absorbed.
I feel like I’ve heard about that kind of phenomenon with serial killers in real life too. Like Ed Kemper has some nasty quote about his realising that every time he killed someone, really he was killing his mother
I'm only disappointed you guys didn't mention the final moment, the big payoff to Frank carrying around that chainsaw the entire episode... I can't remember any other time I literally _cheered_ at the cut to credits. -- It's amazing how the gag of the chainsaw constantly being there the whole episode makes that moment at the end last just a beat or two longer and it feels like we realize the obvious action to take _juuust_ as Frank does...
Yeah, he's one of my favorite bit characters and it was killing me that he was only around the one time. Jan's another good one that was one-and-done(so far) who was really funny.
@@keithpatrick156 omg Jan was awesome, you mean the guy who came to live with Dennis? I love the episodes mac and Charlie die, where mac drives into the wall in the car makes me laugh everytime. Epic writing
I’m liking the fact that they are making more references to the actual episode in the title. I feel like they heard the comments about them avoiding the show. I’m glad they are taking feedback because we love the show and we love to know more about it! I get that it might be kind of boring to them at times or sort of self gratifying but it doesn’t come off that way at all.
One of my favorite episodes and absolutely the episode that showcases where the show will go in terms of their writing ability and the kind of stories they will be able to weave together. I was legit blown away by the ending after thinking the entire episode "How are they going to resolve the whole actual serial killer thread they've weaved."
Watching the podcast and then watching the episode they are discussing contextualizes the episode so well. Definitely bring back that style of comedy, the miscommunication style. It’s brilliant. Also Charlie’s lawyerings are top 3 bits of the show for sure lol

@@richy1988 Damn, at least offer the dude a glass of water or milk before you roast him! C'mon man.
@southern discomfort meaning you don't have a valid reason lol
Spicy comment section. Last dab anyone? 🌶️
Megan’s explanation of her watching true crime shows and the moment she feels smarter than the victim is an inside look into the mind.
“Drawing a confession out of someone is like doing a beautiful dance, a beautiful dance…with a chainsaw.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
One of the best lines ever.
Glen gently telling Rob to calm down is perhaps the only time I've heard that phrase said in a way that actually felt gentle and reassuring (as opposed to infuriating)
Dennis being Chris Hansen is hands down the funniest scene in the entire series. I die every single time
"Not so young and attractive, is she?" Such a great line
I love when Mac is about to leave Dennis goes “before you leave I should tell you I’m…” then gets cut off it manages to make me laugh every time
And Mac wearing the Baphomet TShirt...
Til Rob joined that is. Now we know who the main driver of the tangents is 🤔. JK I don't care what they talk about either, it's all good stuff.
LMAO at the framed picture on Charlie's wall.
The final form of art. We can stop all other art now, it's been perfected.
Ongo Gablogian, charmed I'm sure
Bullshit! Bullshit! Derivative!
It was there during the last zoom podcast aswell
Is that André Boblogobian the art collector?
It was kind of sweet and heartwarming to see how sincere Rob was to everyone about being late. like dude could've just made a bunch of jokes about it, but to be kinda vulnerable for half a minute was wholesome.
I like it when the gang has paid sponsorships and they tell me to try the product or service. I feel like I'm getting in on the ground floor of a reverse funnel system with them. Invigaron.
Hilarious!
I never know where to put my feet tho
They don't get got. They gon' git!
@@danj8048 what do you mean “where do you put your feet?” just keep them on the floor
Charlie’s numerous “I’ll allow it”s while Mac is on the phone with Dee while she’s inviting him over in a disguised voice.
Charlie's various lawyerings are some of my favorite moments in Sunny
I love how wide their grins get talking to each other. It’s always good to be a part of a group that genuinely enjoys working together.
Surprised there hasn’t been a DMV episode. Would be a fun context for the gang….Frank does need a new license…sacred place for Dennis, essential for proof of legal age
Thanks. Would love to see it!
Such a great idea!!!
this is so good i hope they use it
This podcast is a saving grace to the fans man.. I would normally go to Reddit to find a solid fan community, filled with incredible memes, great one-liners, few zingers, updates on seasons, news and EVERYONE wishing that you guys would eventually do EXACTLY what you are doing right here. This is what the Sunnie's needed. I think I can speak for all your diehard fans when I say thank you guys so much for putting this out. We love it. We just love it. 🤘🧀
✌️🧀
🙌🏽🐀
Wish it’d stuck around, they never came back to it and then it just sort of ended
It's just a break! No no no. I don't think they're stopping. It's the wrexham stuff. They're filming. They're doing next season plus Deadpool release. It's just really busy. I don't think they're going to leave us. I hope they don't. This podcast has been so amazing for so many of us. The fans are immense. If we just keep chatting about it, they know we are here.
"Honey bunch" is my favorite track of the entire Always Sunny score so I'm happy that it got mentioned here, but also the rest of the score is so so good!
I listen to it while walking through the city on ugly days and it makes it so so dreamlike. I love it. Snow being the best.
@@ChiePet_ That sounds like something a serial killer would do...
It's literally in my ringtone on my phone
i just want to say, the editing in these episodes is phenomenal and most podcasts dont even bother to edit this much, so thank you.
The creampie episode in the restaurant is classic confusion on both parts 🙏🏻😂
Glen should create and sell his own cologne: “Implication by Glen Howerton”
Or "Golden God by Glen"
It’s just chloroform
Dayman and Nightman Cologne. For the champion in you.
Would love to see Jimmi Simpson and David Hornsby as guests!
Hopefully in season 16 as well! This is the first season since #2 with no cricket
Such an underrated Dennis moment holy shit gets me every time 😂😂
@@kylietravis3427 Yeah, the "fantasy choke" from the beginning of Dennis gets Divorced is good too but it doesn't have that cherry on top of disappointed realization and "changing gears"...
@jeanette m900 Lol, pre-orgasmic glee into sharply disappointed O-face is so perversely goddamn funny...
Megan, you gotta go more off the rails. "unlike the victims, you have a life to live" killed me right away.
The glorious ONGO GABLOGIAN behind Charlie is why I love these dudes.
Derivative!
Charlie's "No one dies when that happens. Not usually," in response to discussing masturbation vs. murder victims was not acknowledged and it probably should have been.
Great to see Megan stepping up on stream!
Who?
@@wordedsauce5580 Take a guess
@@wordedsauce5580 Megan is the name of the couch behind Charlie
A what?
Who‘s „
“Charlie“ ?
19:29 "I want to be with you, I just don't want anyone to see me with you." or something like that.
It would be funny if you did an episode kind of like that but where Mac's hiding that he's dating a notorious homophobe/anti-gay propagandist and the gang's all criticizing him for backstepping from his sexuality and the guy he's dating treats him exactly the way he treats Carmen. Like at the end of the episode he could just repeat what Mac said to Carmen or something.
That’s such a good idea
I love the scene where charlie is talking to frank about how frank was doing some weird stuff with his genitals one morning and frank says "We can go tit for tat on that one so you better drop that subject" as if they're both big time lawyers who are trash talking each other
Some pretty frantic research 😂
Rob is detailing his fantasies about Glenn while calling us creeps. I liked this one best so far. Can't wait for next weeks episode. It's about happy boys. HAPPY BOYS!
I love how Mrs. Mac tells them Mac is guilty just to get rid of them 😂
Hahaha, I always interpreted it as, “now that you mention it… definitely”
😆 but for a second there i could see in her eyes that she said that to cause chaos
29:30 Wait, so Rob and Glenn became roommates in real life. That just blew my mind. Totally life imitating art or art imitating life
The podcast is tremendous helps me get through work shifts as well as lunch breaks and just chillin at home watching
Rob seems like a good dude. It's awesome to us fans to see a show who's cast seem to be truly good friends and it shows in your work as well. Thanks for years of laughs boys!
Keep making Meg more of the show. She’s the voice of the fans.
Bmx gang.
She’s alright
Her laugh is infectious lol
Agreed
This was the first episode I LOVED. The heads in the fridge solidified this show for me as being an actually GREAT show.
"I'm going to Beat my d... like it owes me money" best line ever 🤣🤣
Weird I was literally reading this line as he said it
Glenn and Rob probably experimented back in their apartment sharing days.
I like the spoof episodes cause it mixes it up, and the Dennis making a murderer episode is so funny to me! I think people enjoy those style episodes
Thank You!!
This the episode that identifies the whole series it literally sets the tone for what’s to come in this series 💯
@I hate colored people so can I fill yer up or what??
@I hate colored people 100% agree, it was the first episode that was overtly meta like that
@I hate colored people is that the same season? That was a greaat episode too
mac is gay, charlie is a lawyer, dennis is a serial killer, and dee is a bird
"tell your story faster"
I am always agreeing with Glenn on like everything
That was over a decade ago, I’m convinced they forgot this angle.
Good call, I thought the exact same thing!
I think an even better interpretation is he only goes after attractive blondes and she doesn’t fit the profile kol
I feel like this podcast is going to help them write the new season. I’m so excited to see what happens.
Damn you are so wise. I could see the more-old school sunny mixed in in the newest season
I'm only disappointed you guys didn't mention the final moment, the big payoff to Frank carrying around that chainsaw the entire episode... I can't remember any other time I literally _cheered_ at the cut to credits. -- It's amazing how the gag of the chainsaw constantly being there the whole episode makes that moment at the end last just a beat or two longer and it feels like we realize the obvious action to take _juuust_ as Frank does...
as legendary as the show is, the meme content it has enabled will live on for eternity.
Omg pepper jack and the fraggle rock thermos is too funny. Love how you guys brought him back for lethal weapon.
Fraggle Rock. Fragile Rock is a different show where Dwayne Johnson has a brittle bone disease.
@@TenTonNuke auto correct, but thank you
Yeah, he's one of my favorite bit characters and it was killing me that he was only around the one time.
@@TenTonNuke 🤣
Glenn would make a wonderful voice actor or impressionist.
0:11 Glenn has that grimey Bill Burr laugh🤣🤣
Ooooool' Billy Philadelphia over here
Holy shit it’s identical lol
I got a friend from Mass who laughs like Glenn… kinda looks like him too
the artwork on Charlie's wall is a masterpiece.
Glenn, when Rob finally joins the podcast and you go "Thank you...thank you so much" 😆😆 I was dying.
Charlie and Frank taking photos with the chainsaw breaks me lmao
Watching the podcast and then watching the episode they are discussing contextualizes the episode so well. Definitely bring back that style of comedy, the miscommunication style. It’s brilliant. Also Charlie’s lawyerings are top 3 bits of the show for sure lol
Meghan is hilarious this episode 😂 I love hearing about the behind the scenes experience working on Sunny!!!
I spent a large part of this episode thinking, "Rob's probably just one simple thing away from fixing that mic and not sounding terrible"
Changing the mic input in the audio settings. Much too complicated for a man of Rob's age.
The hilarity to me is Megan realizing it would be easier to just let him have the shit audio than have to explain to him how to click two times lmao
@@DesecratedTTV You saw it all..lols.
23:16 Rob says “No!”, but Charlie was totally dead on! Hahaha
I agree
Would love to see Rob/Glenn do a Hot Ones episode ! Sean Evans is one of the best interviewers and Charlie’s episode is definitely one of their bests.
Bahahaha no
@@csvscs hard agree. There's no flow to his interviews, it's just a hard stop and re-switching of gears from question to question.
@@NickTheNewbie that's the point, they are supposed to be off the wall questions that the guest is intended to answer on the fly while suffering through the heat. 🔥
@@NickTheNewbie You might not like the interviews, but the guests certainly do. Unsolicited, most will comment as to how great the experience is and many have showered praise on Sean for his interviewing skills. To each their own, obviously.
Loving Megan's dark side! I say delve. One of my favorite jokes in this episode is when Charlie is asking Mac who all knows and he says "just her" and Charlie says something like "well she isnt gonna say anything." Way too funny.
Bruhh night man, viet vet Charlie and blowup doll Dennis is priceless 😂
Best one yet. Thanks so much for bothering to post video!
As a creep, I feel more connected to you guys and I love it.
Thank you, Rob, for FINALLY asking the question we’ve all been thinking this whole episode.
“Rob’s hair is looking great today.” -Creep.
Glenn's Charlie impression is exceptional
Frank starting the chainsaw in the last 2 seconds of that episode is comedy gold.
You guys seem to be in the sweet spot for fame. No paparazzi but success with some choices to pursue other avenues. I think you guys are great and I love your work.
I absolutely love these! They make my week start so great. This episode is soo epic, the lawyer stuff with Charlie is amazing. Dun dun dun dun dun dunnn
The whole revenge conversation made me think of the Bentley dude in the in-n-out parking lot lol
There was like an 18 minute delay in you showing up Rob. ZING! Megan is on fire today!
Glenn going full Dennis at 43:05 while deciding that he's vengeful enough to shit the bed is exactly what I needed this morning, thank you.
Can we hear a little bit about Glenn’s experience with the That 80s Show! So curious
you guys are genuine, so your intentions are easier to grasp. With all this internet exposure now, it’s hard to see genuine content or to find people with genuine intentions. Honestly, this is too dope 😂. It’s like watching Michael Jordan talk about basketball. Thank you for this!
