I first watched Jimmi Simpson in his role for Rose Red. He seemed like such a mild mannered actor. Then I saw him in IAS and watched him in some of the behind the footage. Wow was I waaaaaay off. Fantastic actor and just a perfect fit as McPoyle

He always was educated and well-read, but if I had a question that he didn't have an answer to, he would actually take me to the library and help me research my question since we didn't have a computer at our home at the time. He'd help me find books and print out information off the internet for me to read. It's honestly the best thing my dad ever did for me.

One of my favorite scenes in the show's history was when the businessman told them he was gay and they got into a debate about who among them was a twink or a bear for five minutes. Then they look up and the businessman is gone
That was where I learned the term "power bottom". I almost spit my drink out watching that scene.

Charlie is the only one that's been in major Hollywood comedy movies, like Horrible Bosses. I've never seen Rob in a movie and the only thing I saw Glenn in was Crank, which was more of a low budget production.

It makes sense since he's the most successful. Outside of Sunny, I've only seen Glenn and Rob in Fargo (different seasons, and Glenn's role was more important while Rob was more like a cameo). I can't think of anything else I've seen either of them in

Seeing the chemistry between these guys is one of my favourite parts of this podcast. How they build jokes and escalate everything is a great glimpse into the writing room.

I appreciate you guys talking about belief and the power of positive self talk and gratitude. That is something I think a lot of people want to hear and coming from you guys it means a lot. I know I appreciated that part of the Podcast the most. This is why Sunny will always be my favorite show of all time.

Same here. It is similar to the feeling I got when I went to my best friend's house as a kid, far away from my anxieties at home and surrounded by my bros. It's like a warm blanket for the soul.
OMG they actually did acknowledge the mistake and called it "glaring" as well! These guys truly pay tons of attention to detail. I didn't think they'd mention the fact that Dee and the Waitress went to high school together, but it's such a great little trivia tidbit!
I think it's feasible to retcon that - it could be that the Waitress knows perfectly well about high school but is just trying to prompt Dee to at least try to apply for the job in a professional manner.

Can confirm that Cabinet Makers (Very high end carpenters) have the same problem of knowing when something is "done". My dad is a perfectionist cabinet maker and he is always tormented by if something is done or not. It turns into him showing everything HE considers a flaw that no one else cares about and then he can gift the thing. He says he builds the thing he is working on thousands of times at night over and over and thats how he practices the cuts before hand, he preps everything in his mind and checks off the list of considerations before cutting and all that. Anywho no one will read this but it was a specific example Glen mentioned so I thought I would agree with Rob and explain that example from someone I know.
If you get tired of doing the podcast you could always just hire some beefcake avatars to take your place, but you might need to tack on a little mass.

I kinda already miss the shitty office. Felt more "Sunny." Though I do like that they feel more committed to continuing to do this now with the new set because this has to be one of my favourites shows right now and making me love rewatching iasip even more than before!

COMPLETELY disagree, I love the overall cosy, almost late night vibe that's going on. Very excited to see how the podcast morphs and transforms. One of my favorite parts is where they are honest about their lives being fathers, talking about their family, talking about coffee and eggs, rage, etc. Those conversations that drift away from the 'plot' of rewatching the show, those conversation are always hilarious showing their genie comedic talent
Not to worry, I'm sure they'll have another episode where they wander around damaging the studio.

Season 3 has long been my favorite. Has to be the best season altogether, followed closely by 4. This episode is an absolute classic. I hope breaking these down and re-watching these inspire the guys even more
