Rob's part of that episode is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Usually I don't laugh that hard at shows but that whole scene had me rolling, it's stuck with me for years
The best comedy actors or comedians think they suck. Look at Letterman or Mark Normand.
When Mac says "Now, I choose my words very carefully..." when he finds out the stenographer is writing in shorthand is one of my favorite lines.

Honestly it's my only complaint about the podcast. As much as I like hearing their random funny natural conversations, it's a bit disappointing they spend so little time talking about the episodes.
They honestly talked about the episode more in this one than all the others combined. And it was still like an afterthought. lol

I bet that the reason those Charlie/Kaitlyn things are always SOOO good is because, like they have said, she is hard to break. So they dont have to move on from taking up too much time laughing. So Charlie gets like his best stuff through to the episode and Kaitlyn is just incredible.
She's the master of "Yes and" when dealing with their improv. She just roles with it and always has such great facial expressions and reactions to it. I rewatch the show a lot and it's great to look at different characters in scenes because they all give a lot of good reactions.
I'm convinced that this podcast exists just so Glenn can show off his amazing voice acting talents

Rob saying "do you want to tell one of the good ones" was savage! Glenn told the story well, in great detail and saw his point through to the end; Rob just one liner'd him back. Undermining tone despite the performance. Ouch. Hilarious.
My favorite moment of the show is when Dee comes out of the maternity ward with their baby and the look on Rob's face is genuine...sharing that with the fans was so cool.
It is! I always tear up a little when it happens. They picked the perfect song and it's so sweet of them to do that 180 turn and offer us not only a genuine emotional moment, but a genuine emotional moment directly related to them. Love it!

This was the very first episode of Sunny that I ever saw and it immediately hooked me for life. I remember that everyone at my school wanted to get a Green Man suit after we saw this episode. But the moment that always gets me is when Dennis is running in slow motion while thinking that he is a “beautiful, beautiful gazelle person” then turns his head and gets knocked out.

Bro, same. This was also the first episode that I saw when a friend showed it to me. I didn’t immediately start watching it all but later on I heard about how good it was and decided to watch it from the start
I can’t remember the first episode I watched. Around season 6 is when I started watching regularly.
The sunny theme tune popping up in different shows/adverts is honestly one of the lowkey best examples of psychological implanting.

For huge spans of time it was like you just didn't exist except to the people you were hanging out with. It's so weird to think back on what it was like then because things have changed SO much. Thank goodness all other network executives said "no" because the fact it was on a relatively unknown station -- especially at the time -- allowed them to be as creative as they wanted. Truly is amazing how perfect the trio together is. Add in Kaitlin and Danny, and dear god. Seinfeld and Curb are entertaining and whatnot, but when it comes to the best AND funniest TV show of all time, there's no doubt it's IASIP. Genuinely, it may have never even happened, save for Rob's persistence. Wish I was a few years older to have been classmates with him. Other than that, he's been amazing as the creator. Then, when it comes to "smart, funny" writing, Charliie and Glenn excel in ways I could never fathom. All sounds hyperbolic, but they are THAT good. Truly incredible that before this, they were three broke friends living in the NYC/Fordham area.

The main cast, the side characters, the ridiculous plots they get themselves into… everything about this show is a grand slam. The ostrich. That is hilarious you put it in this podcast episode when she came on. I loved hearing the story of how you guys thought it was dumb to put the ostrich in that episode when Mac was having the flashback. I remember the first time I saw that, I freaking lost my shit. So hilarious! It worked great because it was a flashback memory.

Rob is in most of my favorite scenes. When Rex takes his shirt off and Mac is eyeing him like candy then goes into the whole rant about Dennis being in decline. This show is always funny.
The season of Fat Mac is devoid of sanity, boredom, repetitiveness and crickets. The Jersey Shore episode was one the funniest things I've ever seen. Each character had a window and each of them hit the ground running. That actually happens a lot. Water park Mac, How Mac Got Fat, the Swedish plumber, Vic Vinegar. Message received, acknowledged and agreed upon.
