Check out the video I just uploaded, "Hundos part 1", 3 Andy Daly & Jason Mantzoukas eps, including 300, with Andy playing 13 characters. Scott and Jason put him on the spot heaps. Lots of those pauses you adore, especially from Patrick McMahon! ruclips.net/video/h1NkeaYvb9M/видео.html
I realized recently that Andy Daly is probably my favorite comedian of all time if not definitely in the top 5 or 3. He always has the best combination of simplicity and complexity
@veryaccuratepoddcast8519 Andy Daly said in an interview that for years he had a job which included a daily commute by subway. He passed the time with a mental game where he'd try and talk for as long as he could without actually saying anything, like "well when we really take the 10,000 foot view, I mean, once you get right down to it, you know, if we're really being honest with ourselves, then we have to admit, provided we're all singing from the same song sheet..."
I love how they pressure "Patrick"/Andy to make up limericks on the spot and he argues back and puts Jason on the spot to make one up. They just throw hurdles at him the whole time.
Thanks, apart from the Godfather I have no idea what a don is, but I’ll take it as a compliment (and I suppose with my videos, I am making you an offer you can’t refuse!!)
"Where did you get such a heavy coat?" Scott throwing in a dumb question to test his character. Several appearances later and Andy's character takes 45 minutes or so to reveal "Hail Satan!". I love the dynamic that happens whenever Andy shows up. They seem to kind of test each other and it doubles down when Zouks is around.
Andy's talked about how every time he comes up with the character for CBB, the basic idea is to be weird but mostly kind, and somehow it's actually Scott with his silly questions that always turns it around into something sinister, and Andy goes with it! I love that, and after re-listening to his debuts you can really pinpoint Scott's questions that make Andy decide to turn his characters to dark/crazy people.
For example, with Patrick McMahon, Scott asks him at 2:33:25 - "Was it some sort of a suicide attempt?" and mentions "suicide community" literally out of nowhere, so Andy goes with it. They're a perfect team.
03:16:40 - Scott has a great pun here that the others seem to miss (which is fair enough, because I only just noticed it more than 2 years after making this comp): dupli-Kates. Brilliant!
"And it turnd out that Nicole Kidman and her entire family are all ghosts.... If ya haven't seen it go fuck yourselves." - definitely in my top moments of his characters
Il tell you what, night fighting has completely changed my life. I now am divorced, semi homeless and I have developed a close to uncontrollable rage that will no doubt result in life long incarceration in a federal facility of some sort.
This comment brought me back to this video for the first time in ages, to see if it could be done. It could, but not by me, sadly. It would requires actual drawing, but there's a guy who has done that with CBB and it's great. Maybe he'll see this. Wow, over 74k views on this. Pretty, pretty good.
Hey I just watched the show "No You Shut Up!" Episode 306 and it has PFT talking to a Hot Dog (puppet) skit that could provide some interesting caps to use in future videos perhaps...
The only way I could get a hold is to call you to let me know if you want to come over and hang out with me and I can get you a ride home if you want to do that would be great I just don’t want to be in the middle of the night I don’t want to be in the house all day long I just want to be able to get you a drink and go to sleep and I don’t want to be in the car with you and I don’t want to be in the way of you and I just want to be with you and you and you and I know I love you
I adore his pauses when he's backed into a narrative corner and realizes he needs to dig his way out. It's art.

@@aldousbrawndo996The episode of Dead Authors Podcast with Andy doing L. Ron Hubbard is one of the funniest things I've ever heard in my life.

andy daly commits to the most insane characters, and never breaks character lore. it is amazing
Everyone has to watch Review.
That's exactly what a city slickin vampire would say!

Andy Daly might be an improv genius.
And Ian Fleming might have written the James Bond novels
@@Fnoalle Did he?
galifinakis dies of laughter every time he is around andy daly, it's adorable
the way Bob and Scott get along is so cathartic to listen to.
Anyone loving Bonanas For Bonanza? Love Matt Gourley, too.
🧛♂️ 🔫 🤠
Totally. James Bonding is great. So many comedic tangents with lots of these guys. The Underculture with James Adomian is a good one too.
it ended unfortunately..

Daly must go home exhausted every time.
Scott is so damn good at forcing people into comedic corners, I love the chaos always.
So glad I found this. I really enjoyed his characters on bang bang so it's awesome to hear him let loose
Welcome Ryan. There are enough CBB compilations here to give you months of listening!
That description alone is a real labour of love, you're an absolute don.

@@BabyFaceBren Haha, maybe it's more of a British thing to call someone, like geezer.
Scott's feigned anger at Jason-as-Andy-as-Patrick just throwing in random movie spoilers for parts of limericks is improv gold.

Zouks has a wonderful way of finding common-sense questions to dispute the surreal.

I love him so much
Andy doing 5 characters on a recent episode of CBB was by far the most impressive performance I've heard.
In part one of my video "Hundos", in episode 300, Andy does THIRTEEN characters!
Damn man must be some one off characters though eh. Dom demelo wasn't done this particular episode
@@doctorpenatropolis5679 no they’re all regulars.
Wait wait wait wait ......so you're telling me there's MORE characters? I'm at work right now but this is more important!
I will tell you a story of Danny macgory
