Hi my name is Carl Jacobson,
I started woodworking with my grandfather as a young boy. I continued woodworking through high school, and started woodturning after seeing a turned project in a friends shop. Some of my fondest memories are working with my grandfather in his wood shop. Being able to share our passion for woodworking, ties it all together. We also do a lot of epoxy projects as well as woodturning.

Hello Carl. Did you mention in the past a good book for turning boxes and design? I mentioned it on IG also. I thought I remembered you recommending one but it could have been somebody else. I have been watching Cindy lately with some of her vessels and the bottle stopper video
I believe the book was from Ray Key. It's a great informative book, and on design as well. Cindy is a really good demonstrator! I've been watching her and Tod lately.
Very cool, that burl makes a great box. I really like making boxes; haven’t done any for a while, been trying my hand at bottle stoppers and pen turnings. Need to do some boxes again.
