There is so much more to this documentary than just wealth.
Alisa Exactly! I expected to see a bunch of spoiled brats making super impractical purchases and rubbing their wealth in people's faces (like elites from Asia) but they're actually pretty relaxed and very in touch with their roots. It's almost difficult to dislike them. Some are even charitable.
There zrs so many oligarchs that live here in London, they are putins pockets 😳.
"if u don't feel free if your mind is not free billions will not help you "
wow so profound.
hi
I feel like the blue eyed - blonde - wine guy needs a hug. :(
plus I wouldn't mind to hug him :p
I would too :)
in Russia he is a brunet :))
Lisa Simpson his English is excellent for a non native and he clearly has a good grasp of the foundations for developing his skills.
D G.j he does... Like life has not been kind... Money doesn't help everything
man. when the lady implied that a couple million dollars wasn't a large amount of money, i almost cried. bruh. i'll take a check for a million right now if that's not alot of money.
London the city where rich and poor live together in inequality. A city where you can see people living a luxurious life and extreme poverty.
Jairo L. not like london. hes right about what he said about london
***** who cares. Were talking about London
***** when exactly did i say that? 😐 are you ok?..
***** "not like london" doesnt seems like "no other can compare to london". Seems pretty different sentences to me
***** says the stupid one😂
i thought this would be just spoilt people talking about all the stuff they have, but this went into the cultural differences which was a nice surprise and really interesting.
the humbleness of the wine shop owner is absolutely mind boggling! is so delightful to see people who have money but still have a soul! amazing documentary, thank you for the upload!!!
The mother and daughter in this documentary are extremely beautiful! That girl looks just like her mother and she seems to have an amazing spirit
I too was delighted to see such a beautiful relationship.
Yeah but Mom's much much prettier.
omg! When I visited London I also saw a velvet covered rolls Royce outside of harrods and I was like how in the fuck is this practical.
Dani Delafuente it isn't practical, it's purpose was for just that - driving to one of the most ridiculous shops (Harrods) and parking outside showing off.
The Wine Guy seemed like an introverted person who isn't used to be infront of a camera. I wanted to give him a hug!
In fact he's quite an exuberant person, I think he's just not confindent enough speaking English on camera.
That girl who became a model... good for her! She's smart and she seems nice.
El Cucuy yûyu
So many absolutely, stunningly beautiful women in Russia.
How sad that a child with such a wealthy life style can say 'money isn't important.' She should see what children who cant have two meals a day would receive that outlandish statement.
"If your mind is not free, billions don't help you." I love that quote.
The Romanova lady (part of the Tsar's family) is hilarious, hahah. Her stories about the guy "batting for both sides" and all
That little girls mother is just naturally beautiful.
I liked this! Very interesting to hear London Russians speak about the world and contrast their former thinking. Some very lovely young ladies, too, but that is NOT surprising.
The man with the wine shop is so sweet and down to earth, he has so much money but all he wants is to be living back home 💙
Do u know why he can’t come back to Russia? Because he’s a criminal and stole a lot of money
@@HM-li6di 😲Really ?
Katya I like her, very educated. This doc is not just about money but culture and history.
the guy wine the wine business seemed like he hated his life. it was very depressing to watch
Chel O lol
not at all :D it's a normal Russian face, he is not depressed or hate his life, he is okay
he looked like he was going to cry. He left his home and his life back in Russia. he must be a little upset about it.
+Opioid Besplatno Hahaha
money doesn't buy happiness
the walls are made of roses! how incredibly beautiful!
real lives, real people - I thoroughly enjoyed the documentary
Yes. Me too.
only someone who's uber rich could say "The cost for living, it's pretty minimal for anyone".... says the man with how many homes, cars and other massive luxuries??!! typical of someone not in touch with the real world
I think he meant the actually cost of survival can be, and is minimal, the rest of the money goes to extras and luxuries. As you don't need much to actually survive. Me having internet, hot water, elextricity, a car and availability for good food are my accounted for in my cost of living, but not for survival. :)
you have misinterpreted what he was trying to say. he was referring to basic needs. the guy grew up in soviet russia, i think he would understand what the cost of basic needs extend to
rich women still gotta put there face on in the morning and wax there mustache pffff ima call u bozo the clown get a pimp and get a free red nose today
Or the people who come from well off families and create business from their daddy's factory and money then advise us on success lmaaaaaaaooooooo fucking painful irony
Electricity is necessary for survival. Heating one's home and being able to prepare and refrigerate food are not in any way optional. Also if you have any type of health issue things like having a phone, an oxygen machine, A/C, and many other things that require electricity make it even more necessary. Most people with children also need internet for their schooling. Not to mention, working a minimum wage job full time (in the US) does not even cover rent for a one bedroom apartment and in most cases, it wouldn't cover a studio apartment either.
Your idea of not needing much sounds rather skewed.
Is it just me or are Russians incredibly beautiful?
Maybe it's the nose.. that nose is so tall and thin and * u *
Wolfcchi they carry themselves is such an elegant and proud way, i admire that a lot.
Ceroga Papaloski is that your answer to her comment about russians being beautiful? 😂😂
Wolfcchi just you
***** Since when did I say I idolized 'white features'? All I said was that Russians seem incredibly beautiful how triggered can you get? What the fuck? It's not like I've gone and bleached my skin and had double eyelid surgery and cheek implants or whatever else weird shit there is?
Why are you so triggered? And why are you generalising? Get over yourself. If you are the epitome of what it means to be white, I'd rather be an animal than be you. Ugly as hell personality with the 'superior race' sense. Get off your high horse.
the wine guy made his own way. he started from nothing to millionaire status. I respect that. And to me he's the only person in this documentary that truly deserves his riches.
it's kinda cool to see what the rich people are like
The brunette with the "twitchy" daughter is lovely, warm and a natural beauty.
Agreed, what a natural beauty and warm presence.
Her scene was right after the pretty "lifestyle consultant".., and when she came into the frame, and I saw her, right away I asked myself.., "Oh my, are ALL people from Russia absolutely gorgeous 😍?"
Not only is she stunning with devine bone structure, she certainly doesn't look old enough to be that young ladies mother.
Talk about good genes. Hopefully they're going to HELP add some better facial quality to the English bloodlines. Whatever they touch seems to become more beautiful.
Rich is rich and poor is poor and their lives completely divided by unapproachable wall doesn't matter where, Russia, UK, US, anywhere else.
that wall is breachable if studied for years. -by knowledge that stays beyond universities or books. but i admit, it is very painful path; and demands not only a dedication, but a sacrifice of entire life itself. trust me, i know.
Guitar 34 These people are rich due to hard work and luck. A few of them actually once were poor.
There is a shitton of variables involved. It is far from easy, specially in 2017. Believe me, I KNOW. And you always need funding. And it's pointless to build an empire or leave a legacy if you won't teach your descendants to value it and keep working for it. They will just turn into some classic Yuppie scum and waste it all until they are broke.
LyricalXilence and some of them are rich out of taking advantage of others and fraud, or they are sons/daughters of... and sadly most of them dont put their money into valuable projects for the rest of society. Not every millionaire is an honest one, people forget very quickly about values when it comes to their own gain and benefit.
Germany and France are unequal but the minimum wage is high
Not knowing much of anything about Russians or their culture (besides the mafia members they so often portray in movies), I have a lot of respect for them after watching this. I couldn't imagine living in Soviet Russia, poor or rich. These people may be wealthy, & yes wealth distribution is shit in many areas of the world, but at least they haven't lost their humbleness.
ah how lovely to auction her car..n give some to charity...nice
Soviet Russia doesn't exist since 1993.
They don't seem really russians... for me they look like jewish people that speak russian!
Leah Otuda s
Harper Celestine You're right, it's a fact, most of the wealthiest families in Russia are Jewish. Go figure.
The Russian girl and her mom are so adorable. love her bubbly personality. her Russian mom really's done a good job.
The man who owns the wine shop is my dream man :)
i like what the last man said,"if your mind is not free, billions will not help"...totally makes sense
How is it possible that it took me this long to find this channel?
The wine chap is amazing - he deserves success
HE COMES ACROSS AS GENUINE MORE SO THAN OTHERS IN THIS DOCUMENTARY
This felt like an advertisement for London.
Russians going to London is like people from China buying houses in Canada, especially Toronto!
yes exactly
and Vancouver. "Parking" money like squirrels stock up nuts for the winter ;-) Good for them!
We also spend money a lot in London lol
Polly Amelia no one thinks of America as hero's except Americans lol
They don't seem really russians... for me they look like jewish people that speak russian!
The honesty in this documentary was refreshing. With that kind of honesty, they will see growth.
too many bullshit from the criminal oligarch with wine
I'm so hungry

It will be funny they are dense rocks
I know I really gotta stop watching videos about rich kids but can we take a moment for that amazing eye look in the thumbnail
DianeAlx - Ha! That's why I started watching it!!!!! Werk that eye shadow!
although I've always been intrigued by the Russians, especially their Tzars and what happened with all the royal families
more than likely slaughtered. Russian history is not taught in western cultures. most of my Russian family was slaughtered during WWII. I barely know even the half of it, my grandfather did not speak of it. He always avoided talking about it. I learned a bit more about it prior to his death.
+C3metalthingies I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember reading about it & being completely horrified never mind having to live through it.
I hope you find out what you need to know- I don't know if you have any remaining family but if you do, keep after them to tell you. I know it's painful but ironically if we talk about something and it gets out in the open, it can heal (not cure it, but help it)
that mother and daughter do cute
That was a very fascinating documentary - thank you :)
39:07 The second Waltz I love this song !
London reallllyyyy? so many better places to go.
I was thinking the same. Even just within Britain..! It's certainly not the worst place but if you're wanting to live the 'high life' with beautiful homes surrounded by countryside with a mix of the city - so many other places.
Could you give me an example?
dubai
Ikr
Like Brasil?
Russians don't smile because there, they aren't asked to smile in pictures, it isn't rude :)
the dancing is hillarious
When that guy says 'properly clean businessmen who have no connection to the government', I think he means to say 'no connection to the mafia'....
The man who owns a wine store seems deeply unhappy. His eyes are very sad. Surely, money can't buy everything.
“On Zemlyak” which translates he’s from the motherland”... He possesses “Russkaya Doosha”
@@angeliquemarquis odnoznachno :D
that guy who own the wine is very tired
Tired to steal money

Thé wine Guy is lovely
07:00 i love how he acknowledges that timing and luck played a role in his financial success
she just puts her puppy in a Birkin! lucky puppy lol
Now I know why I'm always tired... I'm a low energy lady... oh well!
Such a great documentary - quiet interesting
"if your mind is not free, billions won't help you" - wise words
The wine guy is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. The way these British Russian have acquired their wealth is getting to him. It's all blood money.
I love Russians. They are strong and pragmatic but have a beauty in their hearts.
They are children of oligarchs who steal their country and invest overseas
@@limao6880 YESSSSSS . I Russian 🇷🇺✊
the mother and daughter natalia, are sweet. the mother loves her so much and the daughter is so honest and innocent. beautiful.
I found this very interesting. Thanks for sharing.
That model is so charming it's ridiculous
I Love this men he thinks about he's money giveng to charity God Bless u more men.
With all the famous russian classical music...they choose Bach in the introduction.... LOL
The model has so much personality and a bit dorky. The guy from the wine shop has interesting aura
"There's no place like London..."
Sweeney Todd, anyone?
That red head is beautiful
Respect to this video, very interesting to watch, and that guy with the wine shop, so handsome
This was a really interesting and cool video to watch. :-)
The poor girl has some heath problems.(the teen) It looks like it has a tick or something ells going on
Yeah I also realized she has a tick issue, hopefully its getting treated.
Some light form of tourettes , probably
true, i just they are getting her regular treatment done, and not going by the "health issues are a shame in our society" thinking.
UK2 USA What a weird thing to say. Why wouldn't they treat a treatable illness?
Well, the Russian families I knew were from upper middle class, and well, they had kids with treatable illnesses and they would refuse to go see a doctor about those problems, when I asked, they said in Russian society illnesses and diseases are an embarrassment and going to a doctor will only cause embarrassment to the family. So I don't know if they were just wackos or this is something that is common in Russia. I know for a fact that mental illnesses are something in Pakistani and Indian cultures that is looked as being shameful and thus kept under wraps (I'm Pakistani with some Indian roots).
This was actually quite amazing. There was such a high priority on education, freedom, charity, and a respect for the arts it was not what I expected to hear. I feel sorry that these people came from such an oppressive country but their reasons for moving to the UK highlights what Western civilization is doing well. I am a poor nurse and am of course jealous of their resources but I am impressed with their values and genuine longing for a better world than they (or their parents) were raised in.
5:13 I dont care how much money he has Id love a date and money wouldnt mean a thing. He has such a sweet humbleness about him that makes my heart flutter.
Loved it. Very well written and edited documentary! It has so many layers to it which honestly I did not expect. Great effort by the crew. :)
👋
Rich is rich poor is poor that why life is unfair😢😰😭😭
You would think if he's so rich, the first dude could afford to buy a comb.
That model girl seems so cool and hilarious (referring specifically to the velvet car comment)
This is very interesting
A lot of the russian women were very like classically beautiful in their features when you think of classical era or Greco roman etc features. I find them more beautiful features than the british have in their aristocracy etc
I find Russian men very attractive.
Thanks 👍
My favourite part of London is spotting all these tiny obscure travel shops for tiny obscure countries tucked away behind some glass between a gastropub and a corner shop. Travel to Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Moldova, etc. Are all available in London if you walk round the backstreets near Victoria Station and really absorb what's there.
Meanwhile, there are folks out there who aren't sure they'll have food to eat next week..
Yevgeniy is the most true one here.
Yevgeniy is the one hiding criminal oligarch here, and spreading bullshit. Open wikipedia

At least they invest well and live well. We should all be do lucky
The boy in the thumbnail looks like kasper schmeichel 😌❤
Great documentary, lovely people, especially the young Russian guy.
while watching them dancing i feel like i want to join them wearing a dazzling gown made by fairy god mother 😂😂 just for once..
Yevgeny of Hedonism Wines is very likeable.
He is a criminal
Why? What has he done?
How do you think he became an aligarh? And why all the Russian aligarchs are hiding in England?
I don't know, the story about selling mobile phones was believable. Just curious.
AMUR DM they stole all of that 💰 from the country of Russia. All countries are ran by the elitist mobs, and they all work together and it will never change.
How wonderful ...
that thumbnail really got me lol. i though it was going to be a superficial video of rich Russians turns out to be a look inside the cultural elite of a few people who know how to work their money. plus a little background into their cultural differences. very nice👏
and their history!
Can someone please tell me the classical song in the beginning?????
Bach Cello Suite No. 1
That Kingpin/Wilson Fisk Music lol
Russian women have an exotic look that western europeans envy so much!
But why yall hit the wall so hard thou .... babushka hard!
Aw that little girl...she's so naive it's quite adorable
I like the wine guy
I think its bizarre that if you smile people think your nuts & if you dont they think your nuts.......cant wwwwwwwwin!! But then thats really anywhere, some people dont smile much an some smile ALL the time, I judge by character, not by smiles or non. Oh my goodness.... the lil brown doggy with the lips at 25;07.......how sweet is that pup, love those lips & that nose & the eyes!! I was soooo sad while watching this, till I saw that cute pup. : )
Don't you see they're all unhappy. It doesn't matter what they say or try to make sure people (but more themselves) that they have a good joyful life buy in fact it seems like they miss their country and that's more about the mentality. They will always be the strangers for English people. And also I think it's just stupid to "give a chance" to your child to have a different mentality that your own. Because the strongest persons , leaders or whatever - they'll definitely can manage to do it by their own. Rich parents're just growing up the strangers. I know they might think that it worth it but i personally wouldn't do this. That's sad. I'm from Russia and i would never left my country forever.
After your first sentence, i agreed with you, and kept on reading more i guess just to see you have same opinions with me, i had thought you are definitely russian and i was right. abroad, its a financially secured life with broader opportunities than back home, but the souls will not adapt to that world and will always be an outsider, prioritizing your family will help a lot tho, then again whats the use of all when your neighbour dont know about the russian food you eat at your home, what can you share with them, its a hard dual life.
the clash londing calling awsome song!
The Ads kill it
Why am I watching this! The majority of people around the world are living in misery and starving. Makes you wonder where they do actually get their money...all super wealthy people.
Russians are physically so beautiful.
Not true, as most of them are not RUSSIANS
lol they are Russians.
This documentary was so fascinating. I have never seen a Russian in America. I mainly see people from mexico , Vietnam , Cambodia , and the Middle East. In my area, I generally don't see many people from Europe or other places unless you go to college areas that do the transfer students or overseas programs and it makes me hope I can meet more people from different countries in the future. These perspectives are so different I feel like everyone should learn from them and be more accepting and open minded 🤞🏻
My heart goes out for anyone who moved to another place other than their homeland because I know it might always be "home" but you'll be unable to go back for whatever reasons. I hope more people in the future are less bitter and ignorant 😤
3 million Russians live in America
@@kierenbuckley370 3 million is nothing considering that there are over 300 million people in the USA
Well this is interesting
