Definitely always let a loved one know where you’ll and who you’ll be with if it’s any place new or with friends and such. I would also take some self defense classes, idk how you feel about protection but even one of those self defense keychains I’d keep on hand. Although my kids are grown and have a grandson, dating and maybe putting my kids and myself in danger isn't worth it, I guess being alone was meant to be

I will also have her pick out a youtube name for her and her siblings. I don't want to prevent her from learning or make a career, but she also needs to be protected from creeps. I don't say oof to you whatever you think, however, she says what she says so he won't harm them. It is called placating him so he won't do any more harm to anyone including the children. Because he is really one f’d up being. I can’t diagnose, but on the map of psychological disorders, it would seem he would fall into many a category of having a serious mental illness. You would have needed to follow his disturbing behaviors he has exhibited at least in the last 2 plus years if not actually throughout their marriage. He is a master manipulator over Laura and strips her of her own sense of self and enjoys destroying her own mental health. She is actually a hostage in his extremely disturbed mind and in his actions. He mostly scares her to death and diminishes her continually. As I mentioned, he is a master manipulator who honestly says and does things that keep her under his control and he wounds her every time he speaks. He is a verbal abuser for sure in continuing to belittle her any chance he gets. She thinks he is a good father, but I would question that. He watches them way too much for Laura and unless she has cameras on him, she actually doesn’t know what he says to them, how he treats them and how he most likely will cause them to have more issues as they grow up due to him. They're friends and able to have a conversation about real things like divorce, cheating, a friendship/ relationship after the fact. They both have sought outside help and both cared enough to do that. Their children are the priority for both of them. They're loved. I love that Stephen is honest enough to be able to say. " Hey I messed up" he admitted his downfalls. It's a huge deal when an ex husband can go face to face and have these talks and validate Laura's feelings. As far as the women sending him pics now that's just low class on them, and as a woman that is disturbing that women don't think more of themselves then that. Anyways...I think a lot of people want to hear this type of conversation about marriage, divorce, co parenting, autism. Authentic and real.
