The other day someone in a drive thru said, out of no where "Happiness to your day." It had such a profound effect on me because it was not the usual and I haven't forgotten it.

She likely just meant grateful that he accommodated his schedule to watch the kids at a time that worked for her that day. Co-parenting is complicated and I think it's okay and even healthy to be grateful, but yes I would hope they're both grateful for the other
When it wasn’t preplanned to be his day than yes he’s doing her a favor even if they are his kids too. Same would go for if Laura did a favor and woke up super early to take the kids on a day Steven would normally have them. My husband did my a favor and cleaned the kitchen while I was at work. It’s normally my job because It’s a chore I prefer. It’s his kitchen too but he went out of his way to do more so I could do less.
As long as he loves your babies as much as he loves you, it might work .. I married a mom with two kids when I was 21, she was 22. Weve been together 17 years. I saw the family unit when we got together and loved the kids like thetly were my own. Now we're a family of 7 lol

Also I just discovered a vid of Charlie playing therapist to Heidi and Taylor, so are they in L.A. now too? 🤷🏻♀️ Actually the first time I ever saw Charlie was with the Holderness family. I'm glad my fave entertainers know and like each other. Btw, do you know Drennon Davis? You and he would look really cute together...the kiddies aren't allergic to cats are they?!😜😄

My daughter is non verbal ASD as well and she’s asleep by 9:45pm which isn’t far off from your twins. 7:30pm seems like an impossibility for me and my 4 year old
But what time do they wake up? That makes a huge difference in running the math on the perspective. And to the other comment, melatonin "helps" but it's not magic on ASD kids. Nothing will make my kid's sleep patterns "normal" but it helps her be a little less extreme in her vampire schedule tendencies. 😅

My twins are four (one is nonverbal ASD) and the thought of getting them to bed at 7:30 BLOWS MY MIND! My litte amazing jerks go to bed at like 10 😂
