😊❤ the crystal you picked ((Selenite) is one to contemplate with when going over what you no longer need or want in life, clearing out negative and instilling peace, calm and cleansing. ✨
It's actually Satin Spar, not Selenite, however most stores sell it as Selenite. Very similar qualities for each, but real Selenite forms in large, flat, clear sheets almost like a plate.
In regard to your final question. My son struggles to fall asleep at night too. He's on the spectrum as well. It has been a lot of trial and error to get to where I am at with him going to bed at night. Every night is different but I've found that any kind of stimulation leading into bedtime makes it much more difficult for him to fall asleep. If he eats anything an hour beforehand it's the same deal. But the main thing I have found to really help is if I keep lights on right up to bedtime and then shut all of the lights off, instead of low light or dim lighting leading up to bedtime. If I keep it rather bright and then go right from that to dark, he falls asleep within 5-10 minutes as opposed to sitting up for well over an hour past bedtime. I've found that he will stare intently at any light, even a night light or light coming from the hall and it takes much longer for him to fall asleep. Hopefully this helps a little. ❤
Laura, I have followed you from years - from your early imitations of various family members using "augmented" face and voice mapping. Life does take unexpected turns of events. But you are a beautiful heart and a beautiful mind and you are very, very, very funny. I wish you as much happiness in life as you can possibly handle!
We have a Yoto that has helped immensely! You can choose stories or music, but she has listened to it every night while falling asleep for 2 years! (She’s also 4)
I really enjoy your vlogs. You’re really the greatest mother. Poppy is so cute & clever….And Alfie, I haven’t seen him in a while & he looks like he’s doing amazing…. he looks so happy. The way your ex speaks about him, the constant ‘autistic, non verbal’ whenever he mentions Alfie, I assumed he wasn’t doing so well, but not the case- he’s so great!
To help my little guy who's on the spectrum with sleep here's a few things I do. Cut out sugars and dyes especially in the second half of the day. No screens for 2 hours or longer before bed. Giving a warm bath with Epsom salt before bed, keeping the lights dim, soft music playing. You can also try a white noise machine. Try to keep the bedtime routine the same every night so he starts to associate these things with sleep. And lastly by not least, give yourself grace. You're doing a great job. ❤
Crystals or stones are absolutely amazing. They all serve different purposes, and the energy can be very healing. Amethyst is a calming stone, good for sadness, irritability, rage, fear, etc. I think black tourmaline would be a great stone as well, helping to ground and balance your energy field (also a great stone for EMF protection!) Clear Quartz acts as an energy enhancer when paired with any stone. Rose quartz is great for balancing your emotional health and self love. The "selenite" they have listed at the store there is actually Satin Spar, however it is typically sold as Selenite. They have very similar qualities promoting peace and calm, and mental clarity. Selenite is actually more rare though, clear, flat, plate like.
Mine is now 16. We did active play, than settled down with calming lotions and story time. We changed bedtime to a little later. It does get better with time for the most part. Hang in there mama.
I have a huge crystals collection And love crystals 🔮 The one you picked up is selenite, it is a crystals that clears and lens othe crystals and is a healer crystal, clear quartz is also a healing stone, also named the master healer And there is so much more to learn, and it is one thing I can do to help clear my mind While rearranging them and placing them, absorbing thier energy and vibrations. ❤❤ 🔮🔮
I really enjoyed this vlog Laura. You and Stephen are a great example of how to coparent. If Alfie enjoys sorting and organizing perhaps he could do an activity that involves sorting and organizing before bed to calm his mind ? Just an idea.
The main thing I found to help was just a same routine every night. I used to also make an essential oil pillow spray. In a glass spray bottle I would use a few drops each of Cedarwood, Lavender, and Juniper berry essential oils, a pinch of Epsom salts and fill with water. Shake and spray their pillows a few time with the sleepytime spray before laying down. Diffusing could be another option.
"HI TO EVERYONE" the BEST@! Thank you for sharing this video. Just the best. You are amazing parents to keep doing things together as a family, It is obvious how much that means to the kids. I don't give a rip about what you are wear but I DO like how you wear normal clothes and not super trending stuff. The opening hairdo? STELLAR> LOL SELENITE!!! I love it. My fave crystal because you never have to cleanse it...self-clearing Super Powerful. The wands are great to just sweep over your entire body like a couple inches away to clear your whole field. Amethyst is great just to keep you connected to the more expanded part of yourself. . I would say get a crystal for self-love and connection and worth so that you don't have to worry so much about "boundaries" because you are the biggest the field in the room and can hold that solid no matter what.
Mrs Laura Clery ,try soothing Music or sounds if u have a radio or cd music blue tooth player seems to help there are alote of soothing night music on RUclips try this method may help alfie. Please let me know if you try it ,i used to and still helps me when i cant get to sleep ,😴🌆 helps my dog as well for any naps or any naps for the kiddos ,much love respect Brittany .💙🫶God bless you lauara and all your hard work .
when my children have a hard day or struggle with exhaustion, especialy when their prefrontal cortex shuts down, they love me to massage their backs or legs with essential oils, sometimes lavender, sometimes eucalyptus, mint...they fall asleep within 5 minutes...try it if you haven't tried it yet ❤
When my two sons with autism were young and I was a single mom, I would let them pile in my bed. Always worked. Also I would read a pile of books at bedtime and that always worked too.😊
Selenite is the first one you picked up, it is a good choice because it charges other crystals and cleanses. The purple one is Amethyst it helps with anxiety
A solid consistent bedtime routine has helpful here! And it sounds like he had a very over stimulating day that was off his norm so that can attribute as well! Not an expert, just a mom of 5, one on the autism spectrum, all neurodivergent! I love your content and also on TikTok!
I know this is not a pleasant thing for me to say, but I have to say it. I cannot believe that you allow either of them go off alone and unsupervised with Stephen. Stephen is quite clearly unstable. every time you send your children off alone with him you’re putting them at risk for more emotional damage. Not okay. You are kidding yourself if you think your kids don’t have an idea of what is going on with him. Give them more credit.
yes I have a 6 yr. old with adhd and she takes melatonin supplements. but we also do the same thing every night. bath books bed. but she is still hard to get to sleep.
we used melatonin. It definitely works but he eventually thought he couldnt go to bed without it so i had to get regular gummies and act like they were "sleep gummies" Melatonin is supposed to be non habit forming but my boy definitely thought he needed it. Now we just make sure he gets plenty of exercise and a nice warm bath with lavender and chamomile bath bubbles or Epsom salt. and then put lavender body lotion. Its been a journey to say the least.
Hematite is my favorite, I have a sphere that I use as an anchor in meditation sometimes or I let it sit on my chest when I lay on the floor and the coolness, pressure/weight of hematite feels nice
Pick what your drawn too. And the fist one you had was a charging stone. You can charge other crystals with it or cleanse energy. Weather it’s your chakras or your house
Serenity is good for protection and I have money over mu doors in house. Amethyst is good for night time under pillow or bed. I love crystals! Let me know if you want more info.
Have you tried a weighted blanket? (Pick one that's specifically for his age group, those for adults are probably a bit too heavy.) My teen on the spectrum hates it, I on the spectrum love it. Could help him get into deep rest.
My son doesn't like the weighted blankets either. But I have found that he sleeps better with two blankets instead of one. One regular comforter and one fleece. With the fleece on top it kind of acts like a weighted blanket but just not so much pressure and weight. I usually have him dressed in just a tag-less t shirt because he doesn't like the feeling of his p.js riding up his legs while he's trying to sleep too.
Not a mum myself but babysitting there was one little girl (who has now gone to uni and is living her best life out in the world now making me feel sooo old!) Always wanted to come and aee what i was watching so i got her a big pile of books and said to her i will be bck in just two mins you read that book and you can tell me what happened when i got back obviously ahe has no concept of time so i would appear at 2 mins. 5 mins maybe ten mins eventually she would be so tired she would be fast asleep with the book in her own bed so the parents were happy cos she would usually end up in theirs if i wasnt babysitting for the attention. 😊 Could be an idea with some different picrure books.
I put my 5y old boy to sleep at 8.30pm just after a shower and he usually falls asleep by 9pm. I leave him to sing etc and he knows it’s bed time so always stays in his bed. I only come in if he’s upset for quick comforting. He wakes up between 5.30-6.30pm depending on season. Love how Alfie is progressing with speech. Which therapies are you doing with him? Is he learning to read? Would love an update for us desperate mum
My grandson and daughter joined dance and taekwondo. So when they get done with nursery or grandson gets done with school they go to class 4 x. a week and then come home do homework and socialize with parents and each other . Then they have game night like jenga or charades or chutes and ladders and operation . It’s Sunday they can have electronics. They are worn out. But before fun comes dinner , homework, chores , then fun , then the rest .
' Alfie takes Stephen and I take Poppy' 😂 Good job Alfie!
I noticed that, too 😂❤
I heard that too. 😂
I caught that too lol
I noticed that, it's pretty funny I think she did it on purpose.

😊❤ the crystal you picked ((Selenite) is one to contemplate with when going over what you no longer need or want in life, clearing out negative and instilling peace, calm and cleansing. ✨
❤❤❤❤❤
No wonder her and I are so drawn to it. ❤
It's actually Satin Spar, not Selenite, however most stores sell it as Selenite. Very similar qualities for each, but real Selenite forms in large, flat, clear sheets almost like a plate.

Wow my boy has always slept with twilight 🐢 but complete darkness other than the 45 minute window and honestly I cut it off around 25 minutes in.
Yes, complete darkness is best for all children, not just on the spectrum. The complete darkness helps with brain development and healing.
You’re just amazing!! A mother, comedian, host of the best podcast ever and now a chef!! You seriously have some bomb recipes ❤
I so love content of you talking about your day and involving the kids, so enjoyable❤
I love how Poppy always says that’s a good one! 😂😂❤❤
Very similar situation with my son ❤ same age. I sing his favorite songs to soothe him. Sometimes he wants abc 50x in a row. ❤
I've been watching you for years I'm so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so proud of you being sober and the best mom ever!!
They are growing up so fast ❤😊
I never got to have a lava lamp as a kid! I finally bought one at 33 and I still look at it every day, appeasing my innner child 😅
Your kids are the sweetest!
Selenite is great for protection and spirit communication. That was the clear white wand you said you were drawn to.
Laura, I have followed you from years - from your early imitations of various family members using "augmented" face and voice mapping. Life does take unexpected turns of events. But you are a beautiful heart and a beautiful mind and you are very, very, very funny. I wish you as much happiness in life as you can possibly handle!
I love Alfy's hair! It looks so much better being short like that! 💚
She is so beautiful!
You’re such a wonderful mother, I just wanted to tell you that 💜💜💜
They’re growing up so fast 🥹 I haven’t seen your videos in so long!
Stephen, SO good seeing you! Bravo to you both for a healthy co-parenting!!!
Love this video, and love how you all have time together, then Alfie and Dad and Poppy and you Laura,,❤❤❤❤
We have a Yoto that has helped immensely! You can choose stories or music, but she has listened to it every night while falling asleep for 2 years! (She’s also 4)
Beautiful family ❤️💜❤️💜
Alphie sorted the trash😊 what a smart little guy❤
Alfie said “ mom you have a problem with packages, I’ll just throw them away to help you.” 😂
My asd son loved his weighted blanket to help with transitions and bedtime as he did something similar.
Poppy is so grown omg , she so pretty .

I really enjoy your commentary solo over your interviews, of course some of your interviews are really great
i love this type of content
When Poppy wanted to watch Penelope, maybe she wanted to watch videos of her? Also Alfie looks so different without his long hair! 😇

selenite is an amazing crystal. If you wet it it conducts electricity & its an awesome cleanser.

Bed time stuff we so essential oil of his choosing, sensory brush, and we've been adding tapping work, and it's been working well.

Seems like one day poppy was born in the next day she was grown up the amazes me of the vocabulary she has
I got my period yesterday too. We are synced up just by me watching you every week! 😹
Haven't watched in a while and Alfie has changed sooo much
Salenite is a good stone! It’s a cleansing stone and so powerful🤍
when my children have a hard day or struggle with exhaustion, especialy when their prefrontal cortex shuts down, they love me to massage their backs or legs with essential oils, sometimes lavender, sometimes eucalyptus, mint...they fall asleep within 5 minutes...try it if you haven't tried it yet ❤
Lovely kids there x
Projector lights, reading, cut out all lights, have his room be cool so he can get snuggling boom he’s asleep
When my two sons with autism were young and I was a single mom, I would let them pile in my bed. Always worked. Also I would read a pile of books at bedtime and that always worked too.😊
I always stayed til he was completely asleep. Lots of stories. Also, the doctor prescribed clonidine to help.
Happy new year poppy 😂😂😂😂
Selenite is great!
Selenite is the first one you picked up, it is a good choice because it charges other crystals and cleanses. The purple one is Amethyst it helps with anxiety

My 3 year old always says “ I wanna be like you!!” And she stands up on a chair to be tall like me 🤣
I had the 30 day cough in November. I couldn’t laugh at all without going into a fit! So frustrating.

Literally making that recipe tonight. It looks so good! Did the kids eat it?
selenite…and it cleanses other crystals. So I got into the TT crystal scoops during covid lockdown, and now I have a crate of beauties.
Wow when steven clapped happily when poppy told mommy to go bye bye. Yuck😢
Pick what your drawn too. And the fist one you had was a charging stone. You can charge other crystals with it or cleanse energy. Weather it’s your chakras or your house
I live near you and also have had a 30 day cough!!!! Holy shit
Serenity is good for protection and I have money over mu doors in house. Amethyst is good for night time under pillow or bed. I love crystals! Let me know if you want more info.
There’s a movie, Penelope. It’s super adorable and kid friendly.
It’s on RUclips for free. ❤
Also the show Penelope is a ballerina mouse 🤣
astronaut sensory lights pointing at the ceiling ? popular on tick tock , for Alfie, he may relax watching the motion in the ceiling, just n idea
Sleep- warm bath/water before bed. No screens. No blue light. Olly has gummies that have L-Theanine and chamomile in them.
Have you tried a weighted blanket? (Pick one that's specifically for his age group, those for adults are probably a bit too heavy.)

I had a lavalamp too. It was from the 70's, my mom said
Clear quartz and rose quartz are your starters for crystals.
Cars AND dinosaurs? Jackpot! 😊
She might have been saying Vanelope who is in Wreck It Ralph.
The long salt looking crystal is to clean other crystals.
Lava lamp - everyone in 1998
Hi sweet Penelope ❤
Penelope is on prime video! Great movie

GAPS diet really helped my child with autism!
I say amethyst because that’s my birth stone 😂
Start with the clear one that's overall protection
I put my 5y old boy to sleep at 8.30pm just after a shower and he usually falls asleep by 9pm. I leave him to sing etc and he knows it’s bed time so always stays in his bed. I only come in if he’s upset for quick comforting. He wakes up between 5.30-6.30pm depending on season.
