    The Next gen Everest sports V6 is already a great engine and now it not only has a 5% power increase from 185Hp to 195 HP but it also sounds sooooo much better.
    I couldn't be happier with how this exhaust sounds and performs, the V6 sounds amazing now, if you have any questions please leave them in the comment section below and ill answer them asap.

    Very interesting, I've got a 2019 Everest which I like a lot and does everything we it to do. I really like the look of the next gen Everest, couple near in the area I live. There seems to be a lot of negative feedback about them stating lots of problems (what vehicle doesn't have problems). Problems seems to be more electronics side of things than outright mechanical. I'll be following the build as be possibly upgrading to a next gen in the future. They Don't need a lot done to make them look nice, bar work, lift and nice set of rims & tyres. Looks mint in the blue

    I ordered the exact one last year. Been a hold up getting here. Was April, now sounds like it’s going to be June. I do like the mods you are going to do. Any chance you could show the price the manufacturers are asking for their product please.

    Any dramas with the exhaust sensor after fitting it into the new exhaust ?
    Any idea from Ford if it voids the warranty at all ?

      Hi mate, no issues with sensors and it hasn't thrown any codes since install almost 12 months ago.
      No issue with warranty either as its been serviced three times now at Ford

    I’d like to also know if this exhaust effects the warranty ?
    Did you leave the standard exhaust on the new 3.5 inch pipe ?
    Seriously thinking about this upgrade to my 2023 Everest just for the sound alone !

    Hey Whitty, I noticed on CRG's website they also have a muffler as an option, is there a reason you left the factory fitted one on or do you believe the additional $250 isn't needed?

    • @whittyadventures7250
      @whittyadventures7250  Год назад +2

      Hi mate, I went the system without the muffler as I wanted a bit more of an exhaust note, the standard muffler isn't reused in this kit.

    What's the thinking behind going with 3 1/2" when 3 inch would have done the job, and been a lot cheaper?

    • @whittyadventures7250
      @whittyadventures7250  Год назад +7

      Chris at CRG did a lot of testing with different sizes and dyno testing each one, this combo resulted in the best overall performance 👍

    In New South Wales I’m pretty sure you need a muffler isn’t that a defect ,Will that affect the warranty?

    • @whittyadventures7250
      @whittyadventures7250  Год назад +5

      Hi Mark, not exactly, Exhaust noise from vehicles should not exceed the prescribed exhaust noise levels. These are given in Schedule 1 of the Regulation. Levels are established from a set testing procedure also described in the Regulation. For most cars, the relevant exhaust noise limit is 90 decibels and for motorcycles, 94 decibels. Mufflers are required to ensure the noise limit is not exceed, this exhaust is only a tiny bit louder than OEM, and doesn't need a Muffler to pass the required noise limit.

    Would this affect the factory warranty in Australia?

    • @whittyadventures7250
      @whittyadventures7250  Год назад +5

      Hi KRED, one thing I have learnt from working in the 4x4 industry over the last 7 years is warranty is only void if it can be proved that the accessories causes a direct fault, the exhaust is after the engine and purly helps the engine breath better. I have attached a link to the AAAA's document explaining OEM warranty for Australia.

    Let us know if your fuel economy is improving over time.
    The V6 looks hella thirsty in comparison to competitors.

    • @whittyadventures7250
      @whittyadventures7250  Год назад +2

      So far I have seen a slight increase in better fuel economy but its only early days. We are sitting on an average of 10.5L/100 which is down from 11.7L/100.

      Thanks. I'll ask again when you put a bit more mileage on it if it improves even further.
      One mistake you made in the description on this video. The Everest makes 184KW, not 184HP.

    • @whittyadventures7250
      @whittyadventures7250  Год назад +6

      Nah the HP isn't a mistake, the everest has 184kw from factory at the engine, the everest has 185HP at the wheels when it was dyno run, then after the exhaust was fitted it had 195hp at the wheels. The factory figure is far less when measured at the wheels due to loss through the drivetrain.
