Also check the measurement of the outlet on the exhaust manifold on these engines Its a lot smaller than the turbocharger side. It might be worth removing the manifold and grinding the manifold hole bigger to see if that makes any difference
I noticed you started your ute while standing on the ground. Did you disable the "press clutch to start" or doesn`t your model have that "safety" built in??. Another great information vid.
Hi there. What wil happen if you cut a window patch on the existing cat , remove everything that's inside and then close it up again? Wil it make a defference with regarts to feul economy , performance etc? The Ranger i've got has no o2 sensors......Thank's for informative video
@@abdautomotive Thanks mate. I put a HDI intercooler on my 3.2 and it's made a very nice difference. I've also got the muffler delete pipe, now just weighing up if i should go the full exhaust, or just get a tune.
Hey we do some tuning from Poland and to improve youre exhaust even more, a specialy because you have a turbo, you should wrap youre downpipe with thermo isolating material to improve the power even more. we gained about 9-12ps more and it is a fucking cheap mod XD
If the turbo outlet is 2.5” then that should be your exhaust diameter. Going with a bigger exhaust than your turbo outlet is reducing back pressure, which reduces power
what about the flow rate of the 2 Cats? That is where the big choke point is. the standard looking twice the size should therefore flow more. Seeing actual flow rate data of the Cats would be more beneficial than this video. your 3 inch sounds like a Massey Ferguson tractor. I call bullshit on increase in power. You would even feel anything.
The two pointy tabs on the top of your caliper are used for measuring the inside diameter of things like exhaust pipe.
I wonder if he did that for the camera.
That was annoying me
Best part of this mod is the sound. I get 2 stroke Detroit vibes from it and being able to hear the turbo spool is just sweet music.
Love ya work mate, currently getting ready to fix a couple problems in my ranger (egr blank and bypass recommended from you)
Great comparison mate, 3 inch sounds sweet as well!
God, it sounds so much better.
Flip your tool upside-down to measure inside.
Love your vids mate!
Keep an eye on that old hanger near the flex. Mine rubbed through the flex.

By adding this down pipe dose it effect the emissions at all when smogging it?
Is it a catilac converter or a dpf on the factory downpipe

nope no safety
Hello there where did you get the downpipe
Can you do a tutorial on how to shut off the regeneration phase from a DPF delete?

Do you have a video on how you installed your boost gauge. In particular the reference point in the engine bay. Thanks
I apologize, just had a look and you do. I should of looked first .
Do you need to tune after fitting the 3”?
Got the same on mine, well worth mate.
Has your clutch failed on you yet? Like the disc or any clutch related part?
surprisingly not, i have not touched the , clutch/slave/master cylinder , i can't believe it myself.
noticed you’ve got a 3.2 turbo there. do they bolt on to a 2.2?
3.2 has slightly offset bolt pattern,
Do you have a link for the 2.0L Ranger Raptor bi-turbo?
Mate doese the dpf egt sensor go into the ignite pipe
Do u have engine light on?
Is it loud inside a car?
If you accelerate hard, yes.
If you had to pick between the intercooler and the exhaust, which one would you say made a bigger difference to the performance of your ranger?
intercooler

What brand exhaust is this ?

Hi Artur, i am from Germany and would Like to get in contact with your Ford Ranger experts….
Just installed my new exhaust with no cat and muffler, not as much power gains and responsiveness as I was expecting. Is this normal?
Get a tune you’ll definitely notice the difference
What did you do with the sensor in the DPF, I didn't see anywhere for that to go into the after market DPF?
Dpf ‘s were not fitted until October 2016 px2 , one in the video is a px1
non dpf
@@BCBtrucks64 is this true in Europe too? I’ve got a 2012 but fairly sure it has a DPF?
No tune/ ECU remap?
stock tune
dude, the other side of the caliper is to measure inside diameter.
Where is the 3800 bmw
Bro u should think bout getting a new motor for it bro

lol turbo's don't need back pressure, the less back pressure the better, do your research.
@@abdautomotive yes. You are right. I was wrong

lol, once again someone who has no idea about turbo's and back pressure
