Actually, ranger 2007 to 2011 are good one, they have reability, ford actually produce good conventional diesel engine, it went downhill from 2012 onwards, ford ranger commonrail engine is champion of failure, meanwhile triton and hilux consistent to produce good quality car for mining and agroindustry that most the time using B35 diesel engine, and mining/agroindustry bought bunch of those car, so sparepart are ready and abundant, and peoples just buy car who has sparepart who readly available and abundant
This video has been a great help! I have been in between the hilux and new ford ranger for some time. I was always a Hilux fun due to reliability issues with the ford ranger. And i think i will stick to my pick
@@princehansley9700 What, you sticking with the Hilux? Mate, the chances of having problems with the ford are as unlikely as anyone replying to your comment...

The 3.2 5cyl was a 50/50 gamble, it would either last 200k without issue or shit itself at 70k and the auto was another issue all together. I do like the Ranger but ill never buy one
What I don't get is the number of people willing to order, and then wait for, a basically a new and unproved vehicle. I like the new Ranger on paper, but don't trust Ford - any more than any of them - to get everything right first go.
I get your logic and don't disagree. However I have been lucky twice now, bought the 3rd Gen Mazda 3 in 2014 and Next Gen Ranger in 2022, both have been great cars.
I agree. ANY new car has issues. Doesnt matter the make. Even Hilux and Fortuner has been plagued by suspension, dpf and gearbox issues. Okder Hiluxes are KNOWN for starter problems. If yoj want to buy a flawless car, just wait another 100 years, and MAYBE that will happen.
I agree with you but this all new ranger really is not all new The chassis is tweaked not new, the 2.0 bi turbo is tweaked not new, the 3.0 V6 has been around for a lot of years and has had its fair share of problems earlier but has had a lot of updates and teak eg this is the third crank I believe and by all reports has been pretty well sorted, the transmission is 5 or 6 six years and has a better torque converter but again its not new Take a look at the LC200 a great car but far from trouble free it took 3 to 4 years to get sorted. These days most issues is the support from the manufacturer that is the issue and despite what people may have you believe they are not great any where. Ford 10 mill$ fine Australia, Toyota 2 Billion$ law suit class action they had pay Australia, Isuzu going through a class action for the dmax front cracking and falling apart and a few other issues as well. Just some examples.
The 3.0 Litre is Not a brand new engine. It is a heaviliy modified 2.7 V from old Ford Territory , which were also used in various Land Rover, Jaguar and Peugeot
Every new car has some issues. Some are worse than others. Some people get a vehicle made on a Friday afternoon and individual units will always have some quality issues.
I owned previous Ranger and Everest and I can honestly say they were shit boxes. I wont say what I got instead to save myself the hassle of people saying I am just a fan boy of a certain brand. AVOID!!!!!!!!
People pick on ford the Trolls pile on but at the end of the day the other makes are no better Keep up the maintenance on any vehicle which some people dont do and then they have problems Its usually the General Moters TROLLS.
The V6 is NOT brand new at all. It first came out around 2004/2005 in the Peugeot/Citroen in 2.7lt And you forgot to mention the issue the 2,0lt biturbo has with Cambelt in oil failures.
My 2017 Ford Ranger Wildtrak was great for the first 4 years of ownership. The last year was a nightmare, over heating, egr valve problems, the media system shutting off and on during journeys. Rust on rear suspension and the paint started fading. 40k miles then got rid. Great vehicle when working but turned into a nightmare . I am hoping to get the newer model hopefully the v6
Thats the thing about Ford.. They feel like a dream when they work.. but are absolute nightmare when they don't... BTW just wanted to know if your ranger is the one with 10spd transmiision or not ?
@@gwilko6452 Ohh wowww thanks for clarifying.. coz im actually considering getting the 6spd variant coz some folks actually told me that the problems are only on the 10spd top of the line vehicles.. But based on your situation its not...
IPhone syndrome. Great for awhile, then it turns to shit so you buy another one. They are making a lousy product and are getting rewarded for it by selling more lousy products
Bought the 2023 Ford Ranger XLT in October, it has been at Ford workshop for 6 days for an oil leak repair. The bakkie has 5000 km on the clock. I’m trading it in for a Hilux
The A/C is crap with leakage problems that are in the dashboard somewhere. As no uv dye showing anywhere within the engine compartment. And it's not just mine! 2016 by the way.
Its infuriating that reviewers these days say oh yes this feature does not work or you can just do this to get around it. My soul hurts for the furture of workmanship in the world. All that attitude does is allow companies to produce less and less quality and you people make it ok. You as a reviewer do not and have not done enough research!. If you did you would know that the vibration happens primarilly between 50 - 75 kmph generally and most are not savy enough to know that the ford customer support person has been told to or does not even know himself enouigh and will just throw you off track or say its all in your own head in some way or another. I had a guy try tell me it was the AT tires they put on the vehical from factory Bahahahhaha. I was also told in person that they are only replacing tail shafts in trucks that have the issue reported and this sublimanily means after the constant pushback from ford employees if you push hard enough through there bull shit responses that its an actual issue and its NOT normal only then will you get some help. I had my tailshaft replaced around 3 weeks ago and guess what the new one was even worse, it wasn't untill it was sent to a proper driveline shop that it was fixed. ( mate of mine is in line now for his 3rd brand new replacement vehical as his was not fixed even after driveline shop worked magic) Your facts are wrong and if anyone is missleading the public it is you! Manufactuers will alwasy sweep as much as possible until the rug is lifted off the floor. I won't buy another ford after my dealing with the way the company is run and the tactics they use. I'm sure they released some good models and have some great track records out there, especially in the USA but 80k + we and you should expect more for your money, especially from one that has been around as long as ford regardless of where its actually made Ford your are still responsable for your product. I'm sorry mate your content on this video has pushed me to unsubscribe I won't support a person or watch someone that povides non statistical founded arguments and this gives me a good indecation on what kind of reviews your giving for other cars.
I brought one after watching this review and found it helpful, its 10 times better than my last hillux 2015, even when the screen malfunctions or engine lights on :')
A big issue I see that Ford is trying to overcome, and hopefully will do with future models, is to shake off the reputation they have had for many years. Ford have had some bad models, engines and transmissions in recent years and Ford’s connection with the less reliable brands of Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin, Volvo and Lincoln is a point of question for their current line up of vehicles.
“Less reliable” 😂😂. You joking aren’t you! I’ll give you a little insight into the trucks we use for mooring ships.. a 1999 Land Rover defender td5 hi cap, a 2000 ex army Falklands para Land Rover td5 110, a 2013 Land Rover 110 puma crew cab and a 2017 Ford ranger 2.2 crew cab! The ford didn’t even make it to 28,000 miles before needing a new clutch, the add blue pumps been deleted and the front shocks needed replaced 2 weeks outside of warranty.. it’s also had plenty of warning lights on the dash and it eats tyres! The 1999 110 we’ve had for 17 years and has been faultless apart from a clutch slave and general wear and tear parts.. that did have a clutch around 130,000 but wasn’t gone just making noise! 2013 has been faultless and the old ex army Land Rover which regularly pulls well beyond the recommended weight has also been a great truck. That’s had a new starter, fuel pump and the ECU needed replacing and it’s also had some welding… the marine environment it’s been working in hasn’t been kind but it still works it’s ass off when needed even after 23 years! I’ll guarantee you that our ranger won’t still be working like the land rovers do after this amount of time!
The issue is more a case of perception. We have had Toyotas and they have not been any better than any other make that we have had and as for getting issues fixed our worst and only ever real fight was with Toyota that was for replacement under warranty for the air intake and controller on the RAV4. Thanks goes out to the ACC and consumer affairs' for sorting that out. The Mitsubishi service was second to none just fantastic service the Ford experience has been nearly as good never had to fight them for anything though we haven't had any faults with our vehicles we are on our second ranger and neither put a foot wrong just great. Yet if you listen to all the BS from those that have never had one they must be the worst thing going. People seem to forget the 2 Billion dollar fine that Toyota got for crapping on their customers with the 2.8l particulate filter issue just denying it and taking months in may cases to get the car back to the poor people they shafted. Yet then again you only ever here how great they are.
The issue is paying too $$ for these and having the list of issues you keep referring to as not a deal breaker. Well it actually is! If Ford gave $20k discount you’d forgive them but Jesus man, $80k plus for a buggy product?
I bought a brand new Ford Ranger Wildtrak 3DT in May 2023. Now in December 2023 it has just over 6000km on the ODO. All driving on road. Just after I got it I had to get injectors replaced after it showed engine error. Then I also had issue with tyres and had two replaced. Then a week ago another error with powertrain not engaging 4A. Could only drive in 2H. They had to replace a sensor on 4x4 mechanism. In total now 6 days without the vehicle. Fortunately all issues were sorted out under warranty. I can however tell you one thing. There is no way I will go on a serious offroad trip with this thing.
I got rid of a 2003 Ford Ranger with less than 100k km on the clock because Ford said at a regular service that it needed new injectors. Ford said that was “not unusual”. A number of subsequent Toyota Hilux’s went way past that without needing new injectors. Including a 2002 that I’ve still got at nearly 280k km. my daily drive through three of them is a Amarok V6 with no issues. All of the vehicles are city cars although all are 4 x 4 or 4 motion😊
To me every vehicle sold new these days should be faultless for the first 7 years or 150,000km period. (Except for maybe 1 or 2 software update issues); Any vehicles with small amount non show stopper issues between 150-250k km is umm average; Only cars lasting over 15years-20 years or 300k km with minimal non show stopping issues can be called reliable! All these plan obsolescence at 10 year 200k km mark is just absolutely ridiculous! You want save the environment, hang on the car for as long as you could and find a manufacturer that helps you do that!
Well we love our Ranger, problem free so far, tows fantastically, handheld well. Has an amazing comfortable ride compared with other utes we drove. Quiet inside, especially from road noise.
it's not a new engine according to Sam Purcell of the Drive web site " It’s not a new engine design, however. Known as the ‘Lion’ V6 and marketed as a ‘Power Stroke’ diesel in American markets, it was until recently used in the Ford F-150 in the United States - where it made 186kW/597Nm. The engine design dates back to 2004, and has been used in a variety of applications. There has been 2.7-litre and 3.0-litre variants, with single and sequential twin-turbocharged iterations. The engine has been used in Ford (Territory) and Land Rover (Discovery, Range Rover Sport) applications, along with Jaguars, Citroens and Peugeots."
As an owner of the New Gen Ford Ranger based in the UK it’s an awful experience. 11 dealer visits in 8 months. The Turbo pipe is the first issue it’s not bonded strongly enough so it splits regularly I’m on the 3rd pipe. Interior rattles (B Posts both sides) behind seat belt housing rattles all day until they removed the rivets. Breather pipe to the fuel tank spilt, SAT Nav freezes only from cold start up! Good pick up very poorly executed.
Like the next gen ranger. But many issues give me not to choose ranger. 1. Engine not reliable 2. Injector problem under 100k km. 3. Intercooler pipe blow. 4. Gear box problem. 5. Electrical problem
I always laugh when the "Toyota Reliabilty" crowd pipe up, search 2 Billion judgment against Toyota re DPF issue on th Hilux and 200 series had which Toyota denided existed. Look up 200 series air cleaner issue where dust was able to bypass the air cleaner due to poor design and destroyes the engine, then they continued the same design in the 300 series. Look up 4x0verland, who loves the Toyota brand and 79 series in particular by the way, had a brake rotor issue on a brand new 79 series Toyota refused to admit to. Most manufactures have there faults, it's how they respond to and resolve the issues. Irrespective of brand, find the vehicle that closest fits your criteria. Research the faults, if they can be overcome? and at what cost? or can you live with it? eg. 200 / 300 series aftermarket air cleaner box or the after Market combined radiator/transmission cooler to replace the crap D40 Navara one with a common wall which corrodes and allows coolant and tranmission fluid to mix and stuff the transmisson.
All brands have reliability issues, but some more than others. It is well known which brand brand has created a reputation for unreliability l. In any event, people will always try bash other brands in order to justify their purchases or favorite brands lol, same way you are doing now
MOst issues with toyota can easily be fixed.. even a decent mechanic off the streets can figure out a toyota engine / transmission... and by the amount of market share of toyota, the amount of issues they have is actually reasonable when considering propotions.. FOrd on the other hand are not just simple issues, their issues will lock you up with the dealer for several months
Nice try Greg.... you really tried. Just admit it mate, Ford Rangers AREN'T GOOD. It has all the gear, but no idea. A Toyota Hilux will pull a Ford Ranger out of the mud any day of the week, month and year. It's ok Greg, you will join a long list of many former Ranger owners who'll be switching to the Hilux in a few years when your Ranger will start being a huge pain to your wallet.
Hahah Greg can’t admit a lot of problems with the ranger.. it’s like a bodybuilder on steroids looks good on the outside but inside deep it’s unhealthy 😂
Thanks for the review, however, its fine for you to say its the journalists fault for driving the vehicle hard, umm isn’t it a 4x4 designed for harder than normal driving? Basically what your saying is, this vehicle is only suitable for inner city latte sipping individuals, because it sure wont hold up out in a real country area where parts are scarce, it would be doing real work carrying anything from hay to fencing equipment and anything with high tech is virtually useless if the local mechanics cant fix it. Let’s look at Paul Marics experience with his new Raptor, Paul is a car expert reviewer, his new Raptor with just inner city driving had the rear diff replaced at 3500 KMs. No journos involved. How can you say its all ok, when by your own admission the technical issues shutting down is not good enough, especially for a vehicle in the $83 grand range such as the Wildtrak.
I am looking for a ute for the same things you are. Mind if I asked what you ended up with? And I admit I watched all Pauls vids and put the Raptor at the top of my list, then saw his Dif vid. 3 weeks with no car, and about 3 months before they looked at it. With the clout he has! We'd have to live with it. Or carry a round on your back for a few months
This is why Hilux, Triton and DMax will always prevail… “You don’t know how much you’ll need it, until you need it the most”. When ECU’s and mechanical play up, you can always find someone with access to diagnostic tools, the knowledge and parts to fix the issue. “When you need it the most”… shouldn’t be locked down to a dealership!
Hilux? the most overpriced under tech old style unreliable yes unreliable the old ones pre 2000 were great these days no way and they still are uncomfortable at nearly $80000, the Dmax still has a shite traction control especially when compared to the Ford and the Hilux well pretty much every other ute, it is not that reliable look at the class action on the front of the car cracking and falling apart. The triton has been a great ute but it is still the same car at around 15 years of age in reality. As for locked down to a dealer go and take the D max or Hilux newest version to a mechanic to unlock a infotainment or a fault code, good luck.
@@ADayInTheLifeOfJames Serviced 32 times could have bought another over priced LUX for that along with the refund for the class action of 2 billion dollars.
@@ADayInTheLifeOfJames Ditto you must have a big Halo being so correct yet un able to see that the Hilux is no longer the so called bullet proof spine buster it always Was. Nice try for you too. Toyota the mediocrity maker.
As far as I know the crank and block were changed before the F150 launch in the US. It wasn’t a big problem in the old days in a Citroen because a broken crank would be the least of your problems in that heap of junk.
Hi from South Africa. I own a 2019 2.2 diesel single cab with a sixspeed manual box. I do not know, or heard about reliabilty issues at all. Our trucks are built locally, and not in Thailand. Maybe you should start importing yours from us. Better quality control seems to be the answer. Even the engines are made in Ford's Struandale plant in PE. Think about it.
Surprised the EGR coolers were not mentioned - given they are flagged somewhat regularly and, depending on how they fail, they can take out the engine with them. He also didn't mention the Everest Ad-Blue heaters which people commonly report failing. There is likely a difference in expectations between having a press car you hand back and buying one of these cars with your own money.
I have a 3L diesel (UK spec) and it broke down in 600miles from new. Needed a software update and since, it's been great for the following 5k miles. I hear there are quite a few more that have had the same thing. Oh, and squeaky door mirrors!
Hearing of some thing generally on miss infoweb is one thing actual occurrences is another, Toyota for example go to great lengths to hide issues so do Isuzu.
My 2.0 bi turbo XLT has been at Ford for the last 4 weeks due to a faulty auto transmission pump. Have had poor service from the dealer and had to hire a hilux to keep mobile. Engine lights on and cruise not working. Trading it in for a Triton. Not happy at all about the whole experience.
Too replace 9 rangers is not a small amount, image paying $60 thousand dollars for a Ute, and then image the angst and frustration this people went through with ford to get a replacement car.
We have dozens and wont buy another. Imagine that we get treated so poorly spending the amount we have. We also employ many Diesel mechanics so we have a good idea what we are doing. No more fords for us.
I’m having a bad rattle on the rear springs and some knocking sounds which sounds like a bearing or something in the diff and my car is only 10 months old (2023 model)
bought a new 2024 ranger ,had it two weeks ,so far great truck , I guess time will tell, I have a bumper to bumper warranty for five years or 100,000 klm . so by then should know if it is a keeper or not
😂😂😂 I noticed 98% of commentators never owned a Ranger. They just joined the choir when they read Reliable issues, and became instantly disappointed when the review went against their expectations.😂😂😂😂 Good review you got them trolls to click, 😂😂😂
You really can't blame people for reacting that way. Ford has a really bad reputation when it comes to this and has never really done anything about it. Reliability is really important and shouldn't be downplayed regardless of what you think.
@@Gravattack Yes, Mr. Grava, you fall under the 2%. I heard via the grapevine that the 2023 Ranger was the best selling Ute down under. So in you professional opinion: Did the Aussies back the wrong horse?
@@Gravattack Oop, I only read now that you used (past tense) to own a Ranger many moons ago. Your opinion on past experiences is thus not valid. It would be similar to have had a bad experience with your Mother in law (in the past) and imputing such bad experience to your wife even though se didn't do anything wrong. Please first purchase the Next gen Ranger and then post about your personal experience and not on hearsay.
I've had 2, 3.2L Rangers. XLT and Wildtrak, manual and auto. Never had any issues, just regular maintenance that's all. No major breakdown ever. The V6 is an option I'd consider, however we won't get them anytime soon. For the next gen Ranger we'll just have to wait and see if any issues come up in the next 3-5 years. Before the release an update.
Permanent AWD implies that drive is always going to all 4 wheels. What this has is a clutch based system that engages and disengages drive to the front wheels as and when the "computers" think it is needed. It is not an AWD in the traditional (Landcruiser/Prado/Mitsi SS2/Subarus etc) manner. It is more aligned with the system in the F150/Ram1500/V8 Patrol.
I’ve had my Ranger Sport V6 since October 22 & have traveled 9500km…..no issues at all & I tow a 2.5T caravan. I’m going to replace my work vehicle (2019 Colorado) with a 2024 XLT V6 cab chassis.
3.0 is not a brand new engine…basically a refresh of a early 2000’s pugoet/Citroen/ford engine (rehash of the territory diesel). Yes it’s got plenty new parts to maybe qualify for new, but the inherent design flaw has NOT been addressed. Ask any land rover or pug owner about broken cranks (oil starvation from undersise oil galleries when not serviced on the button or sooner. And the 3.2…I can’t believe you didn’t pick up on the EGR water cooler. 150km they will fail and should be treated like a cambelt and just replace it as a service item. Don’t get me wrong, if you’re in the market the Ranger certainly is a good wagon, just not the best (reliability) out there.
@@tba3900 He needs help finding how to open the glovebox to get to the manual. Could also be worth asking how old he is. It might be a kid trying to do a runner out of the car
The forums are an echo chamber for bad news. Majority of people with good experiences don't bother posting and don't get much attention if they do. Same as mainstream media, it is drama, tragedy and crime that get the attention, not functional reality. Have had mine for a year and drove around Oz towing a Tvan, no problems it performed very well. My last car was an FJ Cruiser with a 2 inch lift, loved it. The stock Ranger doesn't have the clearance of the FJ but it is a better with a load and much better passenger comfort. Most of the difference is due to longer wheel base and independent suspension vs having a differential hanging down. The electronics on the Ranger are very intuitive and with no lasting glitches. Early I had a software glitch related to European requirements which was quickly sorted, I assume, by automatic update via internet connection. The gears can occasionally be clunky, I am told it is because of the active learning system. It does seem to have improved over time. The engine is great and surprisingly it's pretty economical with stock trim.
Ford is still combative against warranty claims. The sidewalls of all four tyres on my Mustang cracked after 3 years, 12000kms. I made a warranty claim to be told Ford don’t cover tyres. But I said the parts are defective. I was then told Ford don’t cover parts they don’t make themselves. I said you do realise Ford probably doesn’t make most of the parts. I showed them where it expressly said in the warranty that tyres were covered. Still took me six months before I got my new tyres. Ford also charge for software updates when trying to fix warranty claims which is a breach of consumer law.
No car has tyres covered they are a wearing part. My sister has a 2017 mustang bought second hand ahd done about 30000K at the time all software updates are free. I get the feeling you are having a I hate ford rant. I bet you never even had one.
Because it’s literally the only thing they sell, Ford is forced to load their commercial vehicles with features that will cater to both commercial as well as lifestyle buyers. Those features will always come at a cost and the issues will be widespread given the number of vehicles they sell
9 months in now and no problems with new gen ranger. All Digital and hitek interface LCD screens is welcome. Airplanes use all digital also for decades do to safety.
V6 Landrover engines, as far as i understand they have poor reliability issues and a disgraceful self life. No mention of previous generation add blu problems that they cost premiums to fix and then the problems don’t go away. This guy is overwhelmed by new ranger, i have serious doubts it’s as good as this guy makes out. Expensive to run, expensive to fix, expensive to buy and the v6 is the LR engine, WHAT!!!!!
The major problem with the majority of late model cars is all this autonimous garbage. If you are not capable of driving a car safely then maybe don't do it rather than rely of unreliable computer systems to compensate for you. Just a thought...
Hi Matt it just one thing that I am really curious about, is your height, you mentioned in previous videos, said you’re 5”10, but I’m 5”10, which according to google 178cm, but you look huge, for a better preference regarding comparing with the car size, would you mind telling me how tall are you in cm? Much appreciated 😂
What worse than the reliability is the dealerships service, repair and warranty. This review sounds like something biased to fords benifit. I assure you that we have purchased dozens of ranges and have had way to many issues over 10 years. We also employ many diesel mechanics. Ford won't see another $1 from us. If ford treat us with such contempt then i can only imagine what they try on the poor individuals.
This obsession with “all new!” bites car manufacturers on the ass all the time and Ford is no different. By the time they iron out all the issues to the part where a car is reliable, they start all over again. Look at the Mitsubishi ASX. Automotive journalists hang shit on it because it’s a 10 year old platform but yet it’s one of the best selling in itself class. Why? Because it’s reliable and not full of all new bells and whistles. Nothing goes wrong with it BECAUSE it’s not “all new”
The fact that Ford had to be fined 10 million over poor service tells the tale - they do not care about their customers and therefore for do not deserve anyone's business. I'm not sure what the point of this video was. I have heard many other complaints about these vehicles (including forums) so the things this guy's is talking about in on top of the real and larger issues.
Makes you wonder why they don't test this crap like it should have been to weed out all it's faults. Ranger shuts down due to electronic faults & 6 months later it's STILL happening woeful just like the diff whine
Hi Mate, enjoy the videos. However, the colour is awful. Looks like it is shot on a phone and/or with 8 bit. Skin tones look awful (no offence to you personally). Grass colour is also bad and plenty of blown highlights. Suggest you get a good 10 bit camera, shoot in S-log and colour grade it.

Definitely, starting with the Hilux
Definietly!! I cant Wait for seperate videos. Make a big video with all three compared side by side with real life reliability issues

I agree with you but this all new ranger really is not all new The chassis is tweaked not new, the 2.0 bi turbo is tweaked not new, the 3.0 V6 has been around for a lot of years and has had its fair share of problems earlier but has had a lot of updates and teak eg this is the third crank I believe and by all reports has been pretty well sorted, the transmission is 5 or 6 six years and has a better torque converter but again its not new
Take a look at the LC200 a great car but far from trouble free it took 3 to 4 years to get sorted.

True - but as far as modern engines go, it might as well be
@Christopher Holden Correct. That's why the 3.0L has a forged crank shaft.
The Lion engine is heavily revised , I wouldnt compare it to the old one .
Needs to be as failed alot in discovery 4 both my that guy over road had had to have engine replaced
The fact you guys are rambling off these issues (and even the supplier cause)… doesn’t make for a heart warming redemption.😬

The V6 is NOT brand new at all. It first came out around 2004/2005 in the Peugeot/Citroen in 2.7lt
And you forgot to mention the issue the 2,0lt biturbo has with Cambelt in oil failures.
My new work ranger was on a tow truck at 700km due to injectors, our other new ranger has just had a gearbox failure at 5000km.

And you still want a Ranger ?

( mate of mine is in line now for his 3rd brand new replacement vehical as his was not fixed even after driveline shop worked magic)
Your facts are wrong and if anyone is missleading the public it is you!

Lol, that's brilliant
A big issue I see that Ford is trying to overcome, and hopefully will do with future models, is to shake off the reputation they have had for many years. Ford have had some bad models, engines and transmissions in recent years and Ford’s connection with the less reliable brands of Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin, Volvo and Lincoln is a point of question for their current line up of vehicles.
Can you cite the "bad models, engines, and transmissions"? Or did you pull that out of your ass?
So your view on a good vehicle is to over load it?@@PillSharks
@@Sabumnim666 overloading suggest the carry capacity.. I’m talking about pulling ships ropes and in our experience the old Land Rover is hard to beat!

To me every vehicle sold new these days should be faultless for the first 7 years or 150,000km period. (Except for maybe 1 or 2 software update issues);
Any vehicles with small amount non show stopper issues between 150-250k km is umm average;
Only cars lasting over 15years-20 years or 300k km with minimal non show stopping issues can be called reliable!
My ford ranger 4x4 2013 model has no issues at all. Only the battery that needs to be changed. So far so good. Still loving my ford.
it's not a new engine according to Sam Purcell of the Drive web site " It’s not a new engine design, however.
Yup, I have bring my car back to the dealer 4 times in 6 months for software issues, but all have shorted out. Now everything works well !
Lol, mate, you may want to fix your spelling. Saying "all have shorted out" doesn't inspire confidence. I know you mean sorted, but hey, it's YT
Like the next gen ranger. But many issues give me not to choose ranger.
1. Engine not reliable
In any event, people will always try bash other brands in order to justify their purchases or favorite brands lol, same way you are doing now
@Paulus Hangula I actually own a Navara, because I like the ergonomics in the cabin.
Did 172.000km in my 2016 PX II, never broke down. Just clicked 100.000km in my 2021 PX III, no issues, drive it for work every day, never broken down.
Love my xlt bi turbo, almost 10k, no issues

There is a recall now in Australia.
EGR coolers on 3.2 Rangers failed.
The 10 speed auto had issues too
Surprised the EGR coolers were not mentioned - given they are flagged somewhat regularly and, depending on how they fail, they can take out the engine with them. He also didn't mention the Everest Ad-Blue heaters which people commonly report failing. There is likely a difference in expectations between having a press car you hand back and buying one of these cars with your own money.

How much di ford pays you

Your Ranger 2022 model is still new, update US after 2 to 3 years or between 30k to 40k kms

Bring it to a Mine site!! and it won’t last very long 😂😂😂

Would it shock you if you found out that that the competition is the bad press for ford
Nothing goes wrong with it BECAUSE it’s not “all new”
I think your conclusion is spot on. Ford have attracted its fair share of online trolls, some of whom have probably never owned one.
I bought the new bt50 basically a sexier dmax great service from mazda sutherland and no probs worth a review guys ciuld be tissed with fords issues
can you do one for the new ranger 😊raptor
Should have got a GWM
The reviews from this channel is good, But alot of anti-Toyota vibes these days.
They bashed it with the ugly stick
In America buying a Ford is like buying a Chinese vehicle. If Toyotas weren't so boring no other brands would be popular here.
Ford power shitz 😅 that 10r80 I wouldn't put to much trust on
It's lighter u expect better timer.
Just get a Hilux...simple 😮
Rangers are unreliable... just buy a first-gen Amarok or a Triton!
This bloke is all over the shop it's got to stop smoking the wacky stuff I think
Ditto adampowell4867
But hey it wasn’t your Ranger that blew up then, was it.
Really? Even 1 “out of 26,000” is not good enough. Don’t think by minimising customer issues you are doing Ford any favours.
LOL, no car manufacturer is perfect. In fact, all car brands has issues. You are too dumb, wanting to make car manufacturers be a perfectionist.
The yanks can use the Everest.
Looks too big. Be a ranger. Not an f150. Ford fails again
Thats where a stupid old Triton or Isuzu or Toyota helps - no technical issues :)))))
Delfi jejeje
ford and reliability never mentioned in the same sentence
