Been using this technique for some time now. The loot sells for much more than you make from selling the ship. When you make a ship your home, the cargo from the previous ship is transferred to your new home ship, even if it's too much for the new home ship to hold. Just keep doing that and finally sell the inventory from your normal ship. The technique I use to sell quickly is... Go to the Trade Authority in the Well. Sit in the seat behind the counter. This will keep the irritating woman from setting and set you up for this little trick. While seated, go into third person view, select the vendor woman, sell as much as you can, back out of the seller menu and hit B to pull up the wait screen, wait 24 hours then re-select the vendor. This bypasses all the animations and speeds up the selling dramatically because you never get up from the seat.
Go to the den in KRYX SYSTEM their is 6 vendors that will take absolutely everything off your hands, you will have to stand wait a couple of times but every vendor will buy everything
The trick of finding a Civilian Outpost in a random landing spot on Venus works much more quickly for this technique. You only have to wait a quick hour to reset the Vendor.
Don't register, just be on the sale screen and sit on the screen to the right of the ship you want to sell, press LB+A at the exact time - you sell for full price
@@tardigrade1303you have to go to the buy option then press sell and go to the ship to the right of the one you want to sell then press LB+A at the exact same time it may take a few tries but eventually you will be able to get it
You dont have to register the ship for the cargo to switch, infact you dont have to register ships at all, select a registered ship in the sale menu and push the ship swap button the same time you press the sell button and youll sell it without registering it
If you can find an Outpost on Venus that contains a bar I've found that is the fastest selling as you can sit, sell 5k, wait 1hr, repeat ad nauseum until you've sold everything. The added kicker is your ship doesn't even have to be close to sell from it, you'll have the option to sell from both your personal inventory and your ship's. The only downside is the Outposts spawn randomly and it may take some time to find one. But I've saved so much time not running between venders and then having to wait to reset their credits anyway to repeat the loop. I can just sit in a chair and sell without getting up
If you do find one, go back outside and place your own Outpost outside the civ Outpost so you don't lose the landing site. I put a landing pad just so i know where my ship will always land I don't end up with multiple stacked landing locations on the planet map
I hadn't thought to transfer the loot I picked up, along the way to the cockpit, to the hold of the ship - then do the ship swap. That will save me a lot of time in the long run. Thanks. If you really want to focus on Class C - look for Varuun Prophecy and Revelation - and ignore/blow up the rest. Prophecy III and Revelation II are the best version of each if you can get them to spawn. (level dependent RNG?) I have gotten to the point where I won't even pick up a gun/loot that is worth less than 20K - not worth the time to sell it all - when I could be out there stealing another whole ship or 3. BTW - miscellaneous items end up in your home ship inventory upon sales of the new ships you've taken. It takes longer to sell all that than clearing and stealing a ship.
Civilian outpost in venus when u find the vendor that has 5000 credits and u only have to wait 1 hour each time I have found that to be the best most efficient way
facepalm.... I've been taking each stolen shop back to outpost .... each... time ... didn't even realize i could home ship the new one, then dock immediately back to original ship and send the new one home on it's own.
Please Bethesda add a rover. Let it be given to us through a quest or from an in game purchase at the ship techs. Allow us to be able to have a bit of customization options and please make a ship module that carries your rover so we can have the option to walk out our ship like we do now or use another exit that we can drive out of. Its ok if the rover isnt allowed in settlements. Its cool. If no ship module at least some sort of strap outside your ship so you can see it under your ship while flying. Thank you.
Pro tip best place to sell depending on your play through the KEY is the best crimson fleet also has a trade authority and multiple vendors with over 10k plenty of resources to trade too
Just a few heads up. You dont have to register the jacked ship to sell. Next, once in the chair of the jacked ship. Undock>Target your ship>Make jacked ship home>Dock with your ship quickly.
no you don't you can glitch the builder with the overlap bug ... select valid hold in an overlapping with existing parts now more the cursor somewhere you can see and change the variant with arrows until you see the one you want and place it.
It's not the home system of Va'ruun... their home planet is called va'ruunkai which isnt in this system Theor system isnt in the main game. Might be added in future DLC.

i use a 'cheat' technically but the game doesn't disable achievements. Console Command "Passtime 50" while still in the vender before the last transaction that will deplete their credit then finalize the transaction and their credits instantly update default number.
Yes the loot transfers from the ships you took but I never had to register it I just made it my home ship then switched back to my previous ship and done no need to register and I get more money out of selling the ship when I sell it without registering it.
i get that this credit farming is more fun then watching a wait screen but why not go to Neon and "confiscate" the illegal good in the syndicate hideout and Neon Security then wait 200 hours and repeat.
What do I do if the enemies and loot don’t spawn inside? I’ve tried reverting back to previous saves, but apparently it happened a while ago and I can’t go back to the save that was before it started happening.
I dount understand wen I play the game if I sell the ship whatever was in that ship automatically transfer to my home ship so this is alot to go through for the same result
You really don't have to take all the stuff from the people you looted and then put it into the cargo hole. You can literally just keep it on yourself. And it works the same way. Once you get back into your original ship and you make it your home ship again. Just transform the stuff from your personal inventory😂 But still cool videos.
You misunderstand. If you do it the way he does here it's both less tedious, (no going through each category of your inventory to find your new items if you accidentally opened your inventory before transferring), and takes less time to transfer to your new ship. Secondly, if you do it your way, if your home ship cargo is full, you can't transfer anything to it. But if you do it his way, it'll be transferred to your home ship regardless of whether or not your cargo is full, it'll just overfill it with the new loot. But you do you, buddy. 😂
The key has the highest concentrated area of vendors with the most caps. Also, even if ships sell for 90k, you spent 40k to register netting a profit of 50k. Not quite as amazing as this video insinuates.
