At this time, all the items in the ship will be yours. You can get up and take what you want then board your real ship again, set it as your home ship again then undock and the ship you just captured will be yours, along with all the junk inside it. When you sell it, all the items inside (except contraband) will be transferred to you.. Selling all those items nets me 8 to 10 thousand credits at level 40ish. This increases as you level up and I've had ships that returned 100,000 credits worth of stuff.
It’s a really nice ship. Can always steal the ship over and over again to simply strip it for parts beyond the first ship and rebuild it into a new ship with the best or unique parts. Robbing GalBank is the most profitable. So also is debt collecting for GalBank the most profitable missions.
galbank quests bugged . I had to start a new charcater could not move shot after finishing it . second time restart it would not take away quest marker and could not find any of my other quests.
I lucked up on Stormrider II in the Hawking system. Stole that ho, put 2 more of the same engines on it along with 6 Vanguard Obliterator cannons and the best shield in the game. It’s now basically a Stormrider 4. Great vid!!!

The value of the ship is a lie. Is maybe the sum of the parts, but it doesn't mean jack sh|t as a value for you. If you want to sell these, there is no way to get that money. First of all you will have to register it. How the hell does that even work. Why? And it costs a fortune to do so, and then sell it for a fraction of it's claimed value, even with maxed out skill in selling. It is nice to get it once, but not for farming sadly as the mechanic of the game is pretty bad as explained above. Besides the obvious very broken part of the game where you can't break ships for parts. Which frankly is advertized as possible within the game on one of those random encounter bases. Abandoned military base was it?! Where the spacers have a ship in the middle of the base on scaffolding while modules of it are apart for repair/replace. So there should be staryards or planet bases where such a restomod to be possible by the player
I wanted the Voyager III so bad until i got it Internally its a complete maze! As soon as i got it i built my own ship and sold the dog! This ship look much nicer. Will add it to my hunt list! 👍
You can just go to the orbit of Akila or vollii alpha since it’s free star space. Guaranteed 2 galbank ships spawn. They don’t give af if u attack uc ships for some reason.
@@andifl akila and vollii spawn guaranteed storm riders every almost everytime. If you get lucky you can find a Babylon which is worth even more and holds double the credits

I'm level 21 right now, lol. I wonder how much the first variant of this ship is worth? Also, the loot is always better on Very Hard difficulty. Change your difficulty to that before boarding the ship, board it, and then change back to Normal (or even easy if you want to easily take over the ship). The people will be easier to kill, but you will get epic loot.
That ship only has 2 engines because each engine power is 6 and the most engine power you can have is 12. There is another good engine that uses 2 power so you can have 6 of those engines. Most engines are 3 which limits you to 4 engines.
Download the mod to take away the engine power limit and the possibilities are endless. The ship building mods that I highly recommend would be the no max engine power limit mod, no max weapon power mod and no minimum landing gear mod.

You may as well find another ship with better weapons if you going to drop 100k+ on a reactor. It is the only reason why you would go for that ship in a first place =]

My fav weapon, best way and quickest way to make money is loot everything get strength perk early ... get the commerce perk at least 2 levels to start then hit the planets horde everything then fly to wolf system and sell everything there. You making money and leveling at the same time, I would also suggest playing on Hard or Very Hard difficulty once you have the game under control.
There’s a Vahrun version of this ship as well. Looks like they just stole one and painted it black. 😂 I don’t think the stats or value are quite as good, but I’ve used the Vahrun ship before, stripped it down to be a really light and lean fighter, but kept the reactor and advanced parts. It’s a great way to get a really powerful fighter super early in the game. 👍🏻

I have a better option, man - in the very same sys, you can get the annoying dude with the insurance scam ! I will call him "the nigerian ship" 🤣🤣🤣 - the dude who wants to scam you with overpriced & useless insurance options ! It has a 36 reactor, very well armed, ship worth 376 000 creds ! and 3600cargo. But the sweet part is, since the nigerian ship do not belong to any factions, it has, by default, ZERO bounty after you board / kill them all ! And you get some 10k creds from the coffers.
I could be wrong, but I don't think it's level locked, you just have to complete Walter's story quest (All That Money Can Buy) and then when you talk to him again in the Lodge, ask if he has any more work for you and the Overdesigned quest (where you get the Kepler ship) will start.
@@kasper_429 yeah that's just the level I was at when I had finished Walters quest. Presumably you could do it at a much lower level if you focused solely on getting the Kepler.
level 76, always play on very hard, im only getting normal galbank stormriders, no II-III in sight. can only guess since i havent new game+ it doesnt spawn, kinda unfair. i still go to serpentis and steal va'ruun versions of those ships, though they dont have 20k+ credits on em but they are free and can sell easy. also how are you not getting bounty? everytime i kill 1 of em i get 15k bounty, i have to sneak kill all of em to not get bounty. if they see 1 person die i get 15k too.....how tf???
Didn’t you say you were going to commandeer another and not steal anything to see the difference in your bounty? I find it interesting that you murdered like, ten people, yet there isn’t some super high bounty for that. I’m hoping that in a future DLC they add some sort of comm jammer ship part. Then you can activate the jammer, take down the crew, and deactivate the jammer so they can’t report your attack at all.
No, it's not. The Revelation goes up to II, this is a Stormrider III. The Revelation/Revelation II are the same as the Stormrider/Stormrider II but the III is unique to Galbank for now.

You mean the Va’ruun? This has the best reactor in the game among other things. The Va’ruun revelation 2 (highest u can get) is equal to Stormrider 2. This is storm rider 3 so it’s better

Biggest issue I have in Starfield is selling items. Where can you sell that ship? What ship yard has that many credits? Where can you sell all the gear without having to sleep 20 times and get a max of 12.5k vendor credit available? (residential gun dealer has the most credit that I have found)
Most of the manufacturers (Deimos, Stroud, Hope Town..) ship yards have 160,000 credits. More than enough to buy any ship you've stolen. The max I've seen a ship go for is around 92,000 with lvl 4 commerce.
You'll never get 522k for this ship from a ship technician. What it's "worth" and how much you would actually get for it are two completely different totals. You won't get anywhere near the "worth" price for anything.
Bet your ass you’ll pay to register it though🥴😂 thing with that though don’t do it at ship technician. Go into your menu, go to ship option and find the ship you stole. It shows register at the bottom and it’s much cheaper than doing it at a vendor
I have the Ecliptic Claymore MK III and it destroys ships before I can target them. To me the 3 best ships are the Stormrider, Valentine and Claymore. If you have one of those you are good to go.
The trader wagon is good ship to strip down for its weapons ,engines,shield,sell the rest now rebuild it into a fairly passable gun boat for context in star wars terms look up vcx 820 will get idea or real world equivalent perhaps a 10 warthog

i been jumping from 75 level solar system to another 75 maybe 20 times, in each system maybe 20 times from planet to planet and never spot this ship, many others but not galbank one
Go to Serpentis…. Use your boosters briefly when you get there, do some barrel rolls, use boosters briefly again… ships will show up & youre looking to take the ‘va’ruun revelation’ if you want this ship. 👍

Can't remember who it was, but someone suggested Hawking IV as a Legendary loot farm, when I got there, the location in the vid didn't exist on the planet, just some run of the mill abandoned installation, which had nothing but a few miserable ecliptics, and not a lot of loot

All based on RNG unfortunately or maybe gaming system. I am level 80 plus playing on XBox. Spent 2- 3 hours yesterday just looking for this in Hawking mostly and never showed, not once. Had numerous space battles and leveled up twice, but no Stormrider. Kept it mostly on Very Hard, but after a couple of hours I varied the levels to see if that made a difference, it didn't. Only good thing that came out of it was a Claymore III from one of the space battles.
1:43 the starborn ships aren’t trash, you just aren’t using the boost for it, it’s got a lot of very quick boost so if you boost around you won’t get hit and can take that ship down before 50 shields

I ALWAYS register stolen ships using the "board, undock, make home, register, redock with MY ship then make it home again" trick but when I went to sell. Three of them were listed as not registered. Starfield is so full of bugs. Spawning under my landing pad? Mouse keys stop working in Target mode? Companions acting whacky (standing in my lap when I'm trying to fly the ship). Sometimes when I board a ship, the companion never leaves the ladder area.. useless. 1 hour to sell the loot from a few hours play time?
Thos are the best engines not locked behind quest walls, if I was going to make a video about how to get the best of everything then it would be a completely different video altogether =]. None the less thanks for dropping by and supporting the channel
The only reason to hunt that ship is for legendary weapons. You can build upon any basic ship and max it out on everything if you have the skill, money and patience. I've done it many times. I've played the game in full on 1st and second run to level up. Current almost level 105. Right on new game plus 8. All I've been doing is speed running the main and getting g all the updated powers rinse repeat.

Don’t take them on mission or simply unassigned them from your ship and leave them at the lodge. Companion as well.
If you start the space battle while in targeting mode they don't get mad.

If you capture the ship, you automatically get all the items on it and in it'a hold. Why steal items first?

Or, at about level 20, you can get the Stroud-Ekland C-class reward ship, the Kepler R, and never need to jack any ships at all.

My auto turrets just melt the ship before I can lick on and board.😢
Just power down your auto turrets befor u engage. Thats what had to start doing

I’m above 60 but do u have to progress the story to encounter these? I left as soon I turned in lodge and just been grinding lvl.

Biggest issue I have in Starfield is selling items. Where can you sell that ship? What ship yard has that many credits?
Where can you sell all the gear without having to sleep 20 times and get a max of 12.5k vendor credit available? (residential gun dealer has the most credit that I have found)
Most of the manufacturers (Deimos, Stroud, Hope Town..) ship yards have 160,000 credits. More than enough to buy any ship you've stolen. The max I've seen a ship go for is around 92,000 with lvl 4 commerce.
You'll never get 522k for this ship from a ship technician. What it's "worth" and how much you would actually get for it are two completely different totals. You won't get anywhere near the "worth" price for anything.
Bet your ass you’ll pay to register it though🥴😂 thing with that though don’t do it at ship technician. Go into your menu, go to ship option and find the ship you stole. It shows register at the bottom and it’s much cheaper than doing it at a vendor

It’s infinite, but difficulty caps out at 10
I have the Ecliptic Claymore MK III and it destroys ships before I can target them. To me the 3 best ships are the Stormrider, Valentine and Claymore. If you have one of those you are good to go.

Yeah the claymore is an absolute beast. It's a simple modification to get it looking very starfleet.
I have my claymore 3’s cargo capacity at 18,600 and still is a absolute beast.

The trader wagon is good ship to strip down for its weapons ,engines,shield,sell the rest now rebuild it into a fairly passable gun boat for context in star wars terms look up vcx 820 will get idea or real world equivalent perhaps a 10 warthog

I think for this variant you need to be above either level 50 or 60. Otherwise you can get Stormrider 1 or 2

i been jumping from 75 level solar system to another 75 maybe 20 times, in each system maybe 20 times from planet to planet and never spot this ship, many others but not galbank one
Go to Serpentis…. Use your boosters briefly when you get there, do some barrel rolls, use boosters briefly again… ships will show up & youre looking to take the ‘va’ruun revelation’ if you want this ship. 👍
One thing to note though, the Va’ruun variant does not come with maxed out reactor and shields. Revaluation only has 2 variants, storm rider has 3

Spawned for me in my normal playthrough, the variant though is level locked I believe. 50/60 or higher

Can't remember who it was, but someone suggested Hawking IV as a Legendary loot farm, when I got there, the location in the vid didn't exist on the planet, just some run of the mill abandoned installation, which had nothing but a few miserable ecliptics, and not a lot of loot
@@gjaxx Yeah it can happen like that because its all procedurally generated. So it will vary for everyone =(... All based on RNG unfortunately or maybe gaming system. I am level 80 plus playing on XBox. Spent 2- 3 hours yesterday just looking for this in Hawking mostly and never showed, not once. Had numerous space battles and leveled up twice, but no Stormrider. Kept it mostly on Very Hard, but after a couple of hours I varied the levels to see if that made a difference, it didn't. Only good thing that came out of it was a Claymore III from one of the space battles.
Ahhhh damn, I get the Stormriders constantly. The Babylons though I find are the hardest ones to come by
Same here on PC. Level 115 - Fresh New Game 11+ - I jumped the Level75 systems for 2 hours but no galbank ships at all.
Same. Was jumping around Hawking and other lvl75 systems for 2 hours and only found stormrider 1s. Will try again later

1:43 the starborn ships aren’t trash, you just aren’t using the boost for it, it’s got a lot of very quick boost so if you boost around you won’t get hit and can take that ship down before 50 shields
If you farm serpentis then these things spawn every second or third encounter in the Varuun all black trim.
It’s inferior though, because it will only go up to second variant. Whereas this one has maxed out reactor and better shields =]
Anyone else encounter a bug where you are forced to pay for registration TWICE? It basically destroyed my entire profit margin.
@@themagnus2919 Happened to me on three ships. I ALWAYS register stolen ships using the "board, undock, make home, register, redock with MY ship then make it home again" trick but when I went to sell. Three of them were listed as not registered. Starfield is so full of bugs. Spawning under my landing pad? Mouse keys stop working in Target mode? Companions acting whacky (standing in my lap when I'm trying to fly the ship). Sometimes when I board a ship, the companion never leaves the ladder area.. useless. 1 hour to sell the loot from a few hours play time?

I baught a Reef III Ship from Paradiso and modified it into a flying hospital with particle beam turrets. The ship "SLAYS!".... Literally.
Very much dependent on your level - I'd like to see you video this with a level 60 character.
The only reason to hunt that ship is for legendary weapons.
You can build upon any basic ship and max it out on everything if you have the skill, money and patience. I've done it many times.
I've played the game in full on 1st and second run to level up. Current almost level 105.
Right on new game plus 8. All I've been doing is speed running the main and getting g all the updated powers rinse repeat.
For the love of god I cannot get it to spawn 🤬
