      I wonder if that last patch got rid of it. I can't get it to trigger anywhere, regardless of how many moons or planets I travel to. They do this thing now where they're fighting the UC or Freestar, or just about to attack me if there's no freestar/UC. Then, they'll recognize me, stop attacking, and make a run for it with many apologies.
      Leave it to Bethesda to get rid of the things we LIKE with patches, while failing to fix their broken CRAP.

    • @BePatient888
      @BePatient888 8 месяцев назад

      If you're pressing "E", you're on a PC. Why not use the console command "player.additem F #######"? I'm assuming you're looking for an exploit because you have come to the same conclusion the rest of us did: The developers designed a trash economy full of poor vendors who can't give you money for all of the high value loot that you will accumulate in this game. That design choice absolutely ruined the entire game. If you're on a console, i feel bad for you because you have less options to skip the economy. But if you are playing on the PC, you can opt out of the economy very early on, and just play the game for fun. Also, use player.setav carryweight (Value) to bypass the HORRIBLE encumbrance punishment, since you can’t sell that loot anyhow. Plus, NOW you don’t have to play “Space Trucker”, and turn every ship into a bloated tanker. You’ll just need to store the contraband and stolen goods in shielded cargo. Sorry about the rant. I ha really high hopes for this game.

    I’m doing the glitch right now, I saw this vid you made like three weeks ago I think and I finally had one of the spacers stop me, I started doing this right away and bought ypur video back up to watch it and make sure I didn’t mess it up. It still works and it works on Xbox, that’s what I play on. Only difference is the amount of credits he gives you the first time depends on your level, currently with this restart I’m level 19, and he give me 1800 credits the first time then the 791 credits or whatever it is the second time, I’m still sitting here doing this, great way to make credits when one finally shows up and does this. But also has to be a lone spacer or pirate, if it’s the ones who come at ypu in two or threes and scan then run it won’t work. Great video bro keep up the good work.

    I had to sell my razorleaf because it became shield glitched, even after selling it, completely disassembling it with completely new parts nothing the same its still shield bugged. For those who do not know, crew members and the shield ship skill can cause your ship shield value to be permanently lower instead of increase. Do not level up on your ship and certainly not while in space. Those two factors seem to be the primary culprits. Similarly to modifications to a captured or stolen ship can cause your ship to spawn under the ground or spawn out of sync.
    Always have multiple hard saves. If you bug out before you reload an old save, delete the bugged save so the ship values are no longer in memory.

    • @mayes900
      @mayes900 8 месяцев назад +1

    The ship duplication trick is the best way to make credits. Obtain 2 trash/extra ships. You need one to be next to the other. Build the one on the right into an expensive ship (loaded with expensive fuel or something). Enter build mode, press LB and X, move something, exit and save. Should have transferred you to the duped ship. Sell the components. I like to use a deimos connector to separate the "cargo" from the ship, sell the connection then select all and sell the cargo.

    My favorite method is to jump systems, moon by moon, planet after planet - usually you will get at least one fight / per system, and with a decent ship equipped with EM weapons you can "save" the most valuable ship for the last, board that and take that last ship.
    When my "bag" is full, 10 of 10 ships, I just jump to a star shipyard ( they usually have 160k creds) and sell the captured ships.
    I prefer this method bc is FUN, you get MORE (weapons, meds, mats, AND - most imp - XP ! ) then I get 150-200 000 creds at once... not repeating the same thing til I get bored 2 death...
    Important point - you do NOT need the Razor. Just join Crimson right on the start, and in the first missions you get from them, you can gain fast some 150-200k creds - enough to "build" the Frontier in a fast attack ship.

    • @10jake01
      @10jake01 8 месяцев назад +1

      I can’t seem to add the ships to my ship inventory if I board. Take over. Sit in pilot seat. Undock from main. Redock with main. Switch back.
      I seem to have to land somewhere to claim the new ship in my inventory. What’s your secret there?
      Don’t forget to register the ship in the menu rather than at the vendor. Saves you a decent bit of money.

    • @mirandela777
      @mirandela777 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@10jake01 - 1 - after you make the new ship ( the one you boarded) your HOME ship, and you REGISTER, you can return to main screen - but do that SLOW with 1-2 sec pause between . If you do slow, 50% of times you will get back and NOT get the auto - undock - so you have the option to "board" again. back to your main ship !
      2 - if the auto - undock occurs, be prepared, you have 3-5 sec when you can just need to point your ship nose to the old ship ( before she gets far than 500m) and during this time you still have the option to DOCK !
      Conclusion - you NEVER need to land somewhere in order to switch ships.

    Wow, all I can say is Wow!! If you do this mission early then the mantis ship and space suit are the best you can get for lower levels, but if your lvl 60 then the ship and suit aren't that great. the suit you get from the Terramorph quest is much better, and by lvl 60 you will have a class C ship. I did this quest on my first playthrough and in NG+. The razorleaf is one of the best ships in the game, at least until you get all your starship perks, I don't sell my ships or unique weapons. I collect them, sucks you can only have 10 ships, need a mod to change that. anyway, I never knew this trick even after getting the razorleaf in my first playthrough. good way to get your money back after loosing everything in NG+ so you can buy all the parts to make your class C ship again👍💯😁

      I liked the outpost trick to make weapons. Create outpost on high level planet, high difficulty, place outpost, create multiple weapon crates, quick save, reload, open crates and grab free weapons and ammo. Then remove outpost and repeat. Transfer all weapons to ship and fly to preferred vendor to sell, keep and great weapons to use. Great on NG+ where you have skills, but no cash, weapons or ammo.

    I was really disappointed they took away the ship tech chest cheat until I just started farming corpses by going to outposts and killing spacers and pirates, and collecting all of their spacesuits, packs, helmets, guns, etc. Jaffa’s Vulture Roost is good for repeat looting too. Just hit up Mei’s ship tech guy on the Red Runner Mile to get shielded cargo if you still want to bounce around to UC and Freestar spaces without having to unload your contraband first. Trade Authority at Cydonia, The Den are good for selling contraband, then waiting 48 hours for replenishing credits, but The Den also has the Trade Authority Kiosk for regular junk you collect and sell up to 5000 credits so basically 11,500 credits every 48 hours. The Arms dealer in the residential district at New Atlantis has more than 11,000 credits though and so does Laredo Arms on Akila. Sell off the guns and spacesuits, helmets, packs, etc and wait 48 hours and sell again. I personally like to take the Kitchen Sink ship option on the quest for the Stroud Ecklund design help, then beef it up to class C. Tons of cargo space plus shielded cargo from Red Runner Mile ship tech and mobility still at 82 for a class C and I take out 4-5 pirates or Ecliptic ships or even Starborn Guardian ships in all of 2 minutes. Ship is unbeatable and 3600 cargo space. I’m always too full of junk to sell, always have massive credits from selling loot I get corpse farming, and I still get tons of XP plus have fun doing it vs sitting and collecting something or waiting on outpost farming to fill up chests and convert to stuff to sell. Average price of guns I find doing this is 2500 credits with some guns up to 10000 credits if modded. I have my own modded guns to keep and use all the time after maxing up the weapon building skills. This glitch is great, but I’m only on the first NG+ run and already have all Starborn Powers at version II and just having fun on the high level planets with level 65 to 75 enemies and get a ton of XP along with good loot to sell. So many credits I can’t even spend them all. Haven’t dipped under a million credits in the last 40 hours of play. NG+ playthroughs are still fun. Getting ready to do the Ryuji quest a second time finally then jump through Unity again. I haven’t gotten bored of the game yet.

      Believe it or not you’ve actually stumbled upon a deep philosophical question. If the Razorleaf were a real ship and you had to make repairs and upgrades and do maintenance. Over the years at some point you’ve replaced or upgraded every single piece of the ship, at what point in the process does it stop being the same ship? Or does it ever stop being the same ship because the new components are just small parts of a whole?
      I realize this seems a weird thing to think about but the question applies to real life as well. Like the first computer you ever build yourself, or you first car, etc. does it stop being the first after the first original component you replace or will it never stop being the first even if none of the original material remains?
