I made this trifle for a party last month. Wasn't even as fancy as this and it was a hit. I'm going to be back again and again and again for many more recipes and I definitely will be getting that cookbook. Can't wait to make all the recipes in it

I made a version of this trifle this year and it was an absolute joy and a hit! Don't skimp on the lillet when you pour it over the cake when you assemble!! The cake can hold it!
