this is a recipe that must be tried. i made this trifal first time for 50 people and it was out of this world! everyone loved the presentation and the taste x
Your recipe its wonderful, thank you! I've just made my Trifle just know with my husband help after a night shift and came out unbelievable nice due to I've followed up your amazing recipe. I will put it on the face book & show the pics to my friend tonight at work whilst I'm so proud of myself finishing the Trifle so nice! Thanks again for you lovely recipe & I give you 5 stars!*****
That is one amazing Trifle , Kate !! A tasty work of Art !! Much more attractive, using the jelly roll slices.. than using just cake cubes.. as I have done in the past. Everything you make , has that special / unique " Kate " flair.
Summer here and still strawberries in the shop but we are in level 3 and can't buy them. Soon as we are back in Level 1 I am going to make it for my husband who loves it. But I will have to make a quarter of the amount as he will eat the lot hahaha! Many thanks , love and hugs xxxxx
Thank you for that very informative video, I was scratching my head how to stop the jelly sinking into the sponge and making it look unattractive now watching you make one I'm off to make my trifle and hope it looks as lovely as yours.....
I once made a truffle with ginger cake I wasn't sure if it would work but every body loved it and ended up with a clean dish going to make it again very soon xx
Kate!!! I am so excited about this recipe!!! Sounds delish!!! Will make it this weekend!!! Your no bake lemon cheese cake and banofee pie are already family favourites, now this I am sure will be added to the list. Thank you so much Kate, you are a super chef!!!:):)
Love trifle, yours is packed with lots of goodies. Your custard looked like it was the perfect consistency. If I was making it, I'd add a layer of amaretti biscuits to create texture but there's something so simple and pleasurable about just having sponge (which looked nice and soft), jelly, custard and cream. Just wondered whether macarons are on your "ever expanding list"? I'm sure they'd be very popular (you can find a good recipe on my blog, no plug)
The School Cook Mmm that sounds like a great idea adding amaretti biscuits, definitely trying that next time :) Oh they are definitely on the expanding list and I really do hope to make a video shortly as I have been experimenting with them! I will be sure to check out a recipe on your blog thank you! Kate :D
Hey Kate u r a great cooker u rock and guess what I did that for my party yesterday and everyone loved it and wanted me to make more sorry but I couldn't send a pic it was all gone before I got a chance too thank u Kate that was a wonderful video too bad cause I don't live in Los Angeles but I really love your accent it is so beautiful-Kayla....P.S this is my brothers thing
I'd like to make this for Christmas Day but how well would it work without the fruit as I don't like the texture of fruit. Would there be too much sponge? Would the jelly soften the sponge enough? Thank you.
It looks so nice😍..where can I buy those dish trifle bowls but plastic ??..i want to give them a trifle dessert as a gift for all my family members 🤗 I know they are going to love it for Valentine's and I haven't see them for a year because of covi19 😏..
I was on holiday in England a couple of weeks ago and wanted to buy a swiss roll to make a trifle - but I couldn't find one anywhere that didn't have cream as well as jam in it! I suppose I'll just have to make my own.
I just discovered your channel through watching the banoffee pie video...instantly pressed the subscribe button! The videos are so well put together!!! Love the videos!!!How about some double chocolate cookies next time? x
One more question, what liquid did you add on the sponge>? Is it alcoholic? if so can i substitute it with something non-alcoholic or just not add at all? Thank you :-)
Here in Brazil, exactly in Porto Alegre at Maria Imaculada, We are studying about this delicious dessert. We loved! Thanks, Kate!
If you use half set jelly it won't soak into the sponge and fill in the gaps !!! But if you are 4 years old you won't notice.
this is a recipe that must be tried. i made this trifal first time for 50 people and it was out of this world! everyone loved the presentation and the taste x
That's next level. Basically, the jelly was from the shop, all other things you made yourself and it looks amazing.
Your recipe its wonderful, thank you!
I've just made my Trifle just know with my husband help after a night shift and came out unbelievable nice due to I've followed up your amazing recipe.

OMG Just love it. Goodbye waist hello gut!
This is crazy! Loved the final result! :D
Haha thank you :D
I just wanna know do u make the custard ahead of time or u can make it and put it right away thank u♡♡
Let the custard cool down a bit - if you pour hot custard on jelly it will melt the jelly and make a mess .
It looks so nice😍..where can I buy those dish trifle bowls but plastic ??..i want to give them a trifle dessert as a gift for all my family members 🤗 I know they are going to love it for Valentine's and I haven't see them for a year because of covi19 😏..
