Very refined indeed! Classic custard is the true Victorian way. I soak mine in Dry sack sherry to give it a distinct flavour & use marzipan cake or walnut. Berries we get fresh in our countryside.
This looks excellent but we dont get all these fruits in India locally or all year round. What would grapes and mango taste like in a trifle. The stunning colors of the strawberry cant be replicated I feel. This looks very luscious

Hi just awesome. Just a few questions: did you use powdered sugar or normal sugar for strawberries/kiwis. (2) any substitute for heavy cream
I used regular granulated sugar. You can skip the cream if you want to keep it simple😊😋
