    What a pretty quilt! And hugs to Cloe for her wonderful math skills and helping Mom! The quilting is just great on this too. A very unique quilt. Thanks Angela! Enjoy your break, you deserve it! I know all of us will anxiously be waiting for your return and more fun again. Take care and many hugs to you.....Claudia

    You just helped her see how the math that she is learning is part of real life. You provided the real world example many kids need to see why the not so interesting math is important to learn.

    What a beautiful quilt design! It's such a modern take on simple blocks. The colors really make it stunning. Thanks to both you, Angela, and to Chloe, too! See you again soon!

    Currently making this in a print color way, it looks amazing so far...one discrepancy (actually 3) in the pattern...see photo. Just an FYI and it may have been corrected already. Well I can’t figure out how to attach a photo atm, but the “V” blocks are all supposed to point inward, but the pattern shows 3 of the 4 pointing outward. Regardless its easy to figure out and all I have left to do is piece all the blocks together! I love this pattern! Thanks so much Angela!

    Thank Cloe for the beautiful math!! I am a math lover, and when I hear about girls being good at it, it makes my heart happy! I suppose I _should_ thank Angela, too, for her gorgeous pattern and beautiful quilting... Really loved this quilt!

      PS - I hope I spelled her name correctly! I can't recall where I saw it spelled this way, but I hope it's correct (if not, let me know and I'll edit it and pretend I knew all along!).

      Angela, this totally made my day!!! I so appreciate all you do for us! This show has completely changed my quilting - it has made me a much happier, saner quilter. Your humor and engagement draw us all in; beyond that, you're such an excellent teacher, and a crazy-amazing quilter! Thank you for taking the time to not only read my silly comments, but to respond. I hope your break is luxuriously restful!

So glad you are designing such modern patterns, I want to make one of your quilts for my daughter who is your age plus so many of your designs go so well with the farmhouse look. Win-win! Any shades of grays, blues, etc. perfect! Thanks, xoxo

    Thank you for going over how to just hide and move on from less than perfect piecing. It's so easy to be critical of your own work when you are first starting and comparing to those with decades of experience... I'm thankful for designers who remind us to just have fun and create. :)

    I really like this quilt - the pattern and the fabric choice. I love that it uses only 1 jelly roll. I think I will be putting this one on my list (I have already downloaded it). Perhaps I will start this one when my littlest starts preschool in the fall - I think this quilt will need 100% focus.

    Wow! You make it look so easy. The way you did the orange peel design on the 2" squares was amazing. You please slowly demonstrate that???

  • @michaelwoods6279
    @michaelwoods6279 6 лет назад +2

    Hi Angela. Love your show. If you fold your 2"strip sets in half RST and divided your length needed (18.25) by 2 and then made one cut at 45 degrees you eliminate the risk of making an error. It's the same technique used when you make mitred borders by measuring exact length needed.

    • @stephaniehowerderheimer98
      @stephaniehowerderheimer98 6 лет назад +1

      That's a great idea, although it could be difficult to get an accurate measurement of 9 1/8" (half of 18.25) on rulers and mats that may not go down to the 1/8" marking...

    Wow! Love the jelly roll colors, the piecing designs, the quilting pattern choices you quilted and the dynamics how the angles interact between the stripes and squares❣️‼️👍. Matching the seams looked challenging ( not one of my strengths) ...it would take me much longer to get that done LOL! I prefer piecing to quilting, but your tutorials have me encouraged ~ the designs you quilted are relaxing and fun. The parameters the strip piecing creates for quilting the designs really flowed. Looking forward to incorporating that with other geometric themes too. Kudos to you and Cloe for a successful collaboration with the geometry!! Impressive and so cool Cloe is into math ~ gotta luv it 📐. Perhaps there will be future collaborations, just imagine with your talents what fantastic designs you’d create 🤔💜. Thank you for all the time and effort you devote to share your knowledge with everyone. Keeping your family in my 🙏🏻 s.
