Using a Squier Stratocaster, Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Mini, a vintage Dunlop Crybaby Wah, and a TC Electronic El Mocambo.

I have this amp over a year. I use the S and R with my clean pedal section effects. I use the volume, Walrus EB10 (booster engaged) and East River Drive distortion pedals through the input on the clean. Having owned many, many high end amps, I can say w/o a doubt that this amp has provided me with phenomenally great pallet of very pleasing sounds for both rhyme and lead . Yes, it does seem like it puts out more than 35 watts and can run with the big boys... no extension cab needed. It just loves to be pushed. My bandmates are floored and say so after each session. It's built strong. However, the weight is nice and manageable compared to my other 100 watt amps that are no longer in play. Oh, it's melds fantastically with any of 10 guitars. That's a first for me. My more than 50 year search for my perfect amp is over.

I got this amp last week. The black one. My dirty channel is very low end oriented, I have to have bass at about 9 o clock with my treble and mids at 3. Kind of ridiculous. When I put pedals in the effects loop they are SCREAMING loud. Even with the volume and gain on the pedals at 0. I dont know if I got a mystery amp or this is normal for the model. So I run directly in the input with all pedals and they work just fine, in fact, very well for a solid state. Never figured I'd find a solIid state so clean and responsive. Good amp.
Thank you for sharing! I find the amp to be voiced in the low-mid frequency range. I've also found that once the speaker breaks in a little bit the low-end mellows out and it cuts like a knife with that 10" speaker. I haven't ever used the effects loop, as I also run everything into the input. Rock on!
Does this still have the original “voice of the world” speaker ?

I have one on the way. So my effects can enhance the amp effects?... like flange on dirty channel.
Very cool. Thanks for asking. In regards to the dirty channel... I'd run all modulation and delay/reverb pedals in the effects loop for the best results. Otherwise I feel that it can get a little muddy. Hope this helps. Rock on!
I dont understand why, but I seem to not get any sound when I try to run pedals infront of this amp. It just works in the effect loop, any advice? probaly I am just stupid hehe
Probably an easy fix, let me see if I can help you figure it out. When you say no sound do you mean no sound at all? Or do you mean that you don't hear the desired effect of the pedal? I ask because on mine the fuzz, overdrive, and boost pedals sound great going into the front on both channels, but the modulation and time based effects don't sound as good, especially on the dirty channel. On the other hand, if you're getting no sound at all, then there might be an issue with your amp or maybe a cable. Either way, give me some more info and I'll see if we can get you dialed in. I get sound when i plug my boss hm2 into the effect loop. But I wanna run the pedal infront of the amp because its a distortion pedal. But when I plug it into the front of the amp I get no sound at all. I dont understand if I do something wrong or what it is.
What are the clean sounds of the orange crush 35rt and what are the settings?
