Tagmeister You sir are an idiot. John Petrucci is a one dimensional progressive shred player. Good at that and that alone. That’s it, so understand Petrucci’s limitations could not put this song together. He can’t sing, nor sing harmonies and if he can his voice tone isn’t as good as Josh’s. So instead of pointing out Josh’s limitations like a negative projecting tool, just enjoy, and understand that John Petrucci couldn’t pull this off alone, idiot.

You have a big following but you deserve more. Your covers are fun and easily delight us. Your originals are sophisticated and sweet. Some might chalk it up to talent of which you have plenty to spare but I see the work ethic in you as well... you earned your skill through that hard work. Any success you ever had and ever will have has been been paid for by that effort. You deserve as much as you want. Now, can you play another tune for an old lady. I feel like dancing

On your coattails may I say that I believe potential really doesn't amount to much without work so "talent" also means "work ethic". If you don't put the hammer to the nail you really just have talk. Talented people have earned the title--always. Someone who is talented but lacks work ethic can't really have a body of work upon which they may claim talent. (Because this describes me.) a.k.a. "waste of talent". And I agree with everything you said about Josh Turner. He is prominent in music because he is very active--always doing more.
