You girls are just insanely talented! The instrument chops, the harmonized voices, the outfits perfectly matching the guitars, the fun you have together, and the joy you spread - are unmatched!👱♀🎸🎶🎸 👩
It's not that amazing. It's very generic and vanilla. A very basic 12 bars blues riff and playing lead in almost a perfect bb box, in the relative minor (1) and major scale. It's truly not that impressive.

Great job ladies ! I took up the banjo when I was 70, ( took up the guitar in 1971 and the electric organ in 1974) and I have learned to respect and appreciate all musicians no matter what they play.
As a music lover who grew up in the 1950-60s I am always searching for artists that are as amazing as the ones I listened to…I can’t believe I just found Elle and Toni who have been around for years. You guys are amazing beyond words, your covers and your new songs too! Thanks for sharing your incredible music!
There is much pain and sadness in this world. But it is somewhat balanced out by joy. Elle and Toni help to provide that joy. You two are doing more good than perhaps you know. Thanks to you both!
I'm 100 yrs. old and, where were we? Very well done. The best part is, no cring slam you know is coming at the end of the song. OK, just a tiny little thing. That's class.
Never really liked this song because of the dance Travolta and Uma did in Pulp Fiction, but hearing this version has given me new found respect. Bravo to these fine musicians!
OH YEAH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You Ladies have got it happening thank you... I've been playing , rocking and rolling for 45 years and although I love this tune , I've never actually added it into my sets but I'm going to now after hearing your version. I was never sure an acoustic version would work but clearly it does. You two should be on top pretty soon you are fabulous. Thanks again from Vancouver , British Columbia, Canada Tim Feb22/24
Has anybody commented that the color of your guitars matches the sweaters you are both wearing? There are no accidents in matters like that. You both did a great job on You Never Can Tell. Especially Toni's guitar playing, wow. I love how you and your Brooklyn buddies Josh Turner and crew perform music from many genres. I know about that, I love baroque classical and American country music. The new and the old. You are keeping these great songs alive, thank you. Plus the 1960's rock-n-roll!

Back in the 60s or 70s no major recording studios would ever sign a contract with you two! But with your singing and Toni's playing, you have entertained many thousands motals like me (a 77 years young admirer) with your music. Keep on doing this, girls.
Thank you, Elle & Toni, for a great cover of a childhood favorite! This song was released in 1964, so it played often during my youth. Your version made me smile, and brought back some fond memories.

I am a 76 yo Chuck Berry fan. The highlight of Chuck's version was Johnny Johson's piano. This softer guitar amazingly works. I love it.

Ding-a-king. His Johnny B Goode lead is probably the greatest in rock ‘n roll history !
Keith Richards, oh The Rolling Stones, is great also !
