I’ve been playing your music for a beautiful woman who is affected by prefrontal aphasia. It’s a degenerative brain disease. She loved music. Could sing every song known to man. She listens for a couple hours after dinner tonight. I showed her how we give thumbs up. After the last song we all clapped. I said “I love those guys. They are so good!” She laughed with agreement which is big because she can no longer communicate verbally anymore. So thank you all for your music. You touch more people than you think in such important and amazing ways. Thank you one and all. Well done.
I love these guys too. Thanks for sharing your story. I am currently writing a paper for my BSN on the effect of music on ICU delirium and sedation needs for patients on ventilators. Music is more than entertainment... it is one of the most profoundly important influences on human neurology ever. Keep up the wonderful work you are doing... whether that work is professional or simply personal.

Great job covering a iconic song that IMHO you all absolutely nailed 110%. That’s coming from a 68yrs young guy that used to play in a rock band & then horn band in the early to late 70’s so know when something’s good & this was great!
I'll be honest. When I first saw the link for this video, I thought "Hmm...let's see how bad this kid hacks this song". Keep in mind that this was one of my favorite songs in High School (yea, I'm an old fart). Boy! Was I ever wrong! You nailed it! CSN would be proud.
Seems to be a common theme on this comment section..... Josh, were you born with a guitar on your hands? You look so comfortable. Well done young man........
All I can say is "carry on" gentlemen! The music of Crosby, Stills and Nash is timeless and will never be forgotten as long as talented musicians like you step up to cover their songs. Thank you!❤
Very nicely done guys. Few people have the talent to attempt this song. Thanks for a performance I could sit all the way through and smile the whole time.
I get chills listening to this cat, he covers a few tunes better than the originals. When he finds his own voice and style he's going to knock the world on its ass! May the gods smile upon his wildest dreams.
I first saw CSNY in the 1970s at Winterland, San Francisco. When they sang and played this song, it was just embarrassing - the guitar, the vocals, the whole song was out of tune, uncoordinated, out of balance. It sounded NOTHING like the recording. THIS, however, is really fun and wonderful. The guitar work by this young guy playing a Martin was something to be truly proud of. Thank you for these vocals and guitars of a truly beautiful song as we approach New Year's Eve! Happy New Year, guys!
Not an easy song to cover!!! Great job!! You all three rocked it! Song goes through so many changes and moods... Tanner steps up and kills Steve Stills part in Spanish at the end... it was ice cream on the cake! Hot and sweet!
Josh and Company: Just a great perfomrance that evidences a lot of practice and time spent working together. This song has all kinds of trick turns, both on the harmonies and the open tuning fingering. But you guys manuevered them all with the skill of true professionals. Very proud of your determination to stick with the original song and simply apply your own energies behind it. Bravo. This perfomance will be seen as exceptional by many, including CS&N.
Agreed. Foxes and Fossils is an amazing and talented group. Definitely going to buy their music. Their version is spectacular--especially love the bass line :-D But something about this version is just better than anything I've heard out there. I think it's the chill groove they have. Josh's guitar playing is so intricate and accurate yet effortless. Their tone is superb. The cover by the Shadowboxers was pretty good, especially the end, but they kinda over did it to be completely honest.
I'm a guitar player singer songwriter and a really huge and long time CSN&Y fan. There isn't a tutorial on the entire internet with even a properly-tuned guitar, much less a competent instructional on how to play this song. I managed to nearly get it down by braille and YOUR rendition will help me to really nail it. I'm a critical S.O.B. and I got nothin'... EXCEPT PRAISE! This is a really outstanding cover of one of my favorite all-time songs. Thanks
I'm 70, and was smitten with CSN back when... (not to dis CSN&Y) Whatever it was that is attracting you Josh to these treasureable songs I am greatful for. Thank you for being you and for bringing the dead back to life ! OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE by all. Hats off! 🎩❗
Stunning accomplishment! Y'all are great! Makes you appreciate that song all over again, and realize why very few musicians will ever be able to cover it. 🤠
Damn, I love this song and I discovered this video about nine years ago and I remember being so young and hopeful and could not hold myself and start dancing alone in the living room, from time to time I came back to enjoy. Here I am a few years later glad that it found me again, it goosed my skin up, had to close my eyes and smile, tougher times, still me. Have a nice one, guys
I love the random lyric call outs. It's like old-time community sings, complete with those harmonies, but instead of Americana and hymns, its these glorious cover tunes.
I agree the best version done by "KIDS WHO WRE NOT BORN WHEN THIS SONG APPEARED AT WOODSTOCK..WE BE OLD AND PROUD.".Keep up the good work Josh Turner and Company.
One of my favourite CSN tunes. To be honest, I only listened because I wanted to hate it! However, you guys did an excellent job. I loved it. Well done.
These guys are REALLY good.....I came of age in the late 60s and early 70s, and its so nice to see younger musicians carrrying on the music of this era. Love it!
I enjoy Josh's performances, but he also has a distinct ability to jam with so many great musicians. It's clear that, no matter who he plays music with, everyone has a great time. That energy makes it into each recording and we're the better for it. Thanks, man!
Well I’m blown away by this cover!!! Been playing guitar for almost 60 years now and have loved this song since the Woodstock days. When I saw it pop up in my thumbnail i immediately thought……yeah right here’s one to pass on! Boy sure glad I didn’t and honestly didn’t think you guys would completely nail the whole song, but, you did! Awesome job, keep it up! Thanks for posting!

In 1977, I was 12 and gifted a box full of albums from the 60’s and early seventies, from my aunt Debbie. These albums included Cream ‘Disraeli Gears,’ Blind Faith, Iron Butterfly ‘Inna Gadda da vida’(sp?), three Grand Funk Railroad albums, The Beatles ‘White Album’ and many more. My favorite by far was the Woodstock album and my favorite song on the album was Suite: Judy Blues Eyes. This brings me much joy to see young people keeping these songs alive! I can’t thank you enough! Great job....Keep ‘me coming!
Kudos to your Aunt Debbie on her great taste in music ... and her kindness to you. Gifting music (or literature) can positively impact a younger person’s life ... or at least open their minds and ears to new things. I’ve seen it happen.
Another great job...saw them live in concert back in the 80s...you guys have really found their amazing and unique vocal harmony. Heys in all the right places. No female singers. Awesome guitar w/slapping. Hard not to imagine it's the original artists performing!! OMG, even the Spanish!
As someone who was born in 1492, I knew that I would get to hear some youngsters enjoying the new classics on my 532nd birthday! Thank you for this awesome present! Red Shirt can play the guitar!

Bravo to this fabulous young guitar player . Stephen Stills would be surprised as the rest of the people who watchin' it ❤❤❤❤ From Tangier , you won an old guy suscriber ....
Very good cover of this classic. Josh especially good on the Stephen Stills parts. There's a group called Foxes and Fossils who also do an excellent version.
@@Rickimusic The owner of that bar where Foxes and Fossils performed should be confined to hard labor for not turning off those damned TVs while that magnificent group debuted their magic onto the world. And not just because they’re great-it’s rude for any performer in your joint to have to perform under running TV screens.
I love this! This song was stuck in my head , so good! Three very talented musicians. I love the joy they convey in their music. I wish they lived close to me so I could enjoy in person.
Tanner Walter starting at 6:41 covering the Spanish bits, wow!! I love this song since forever. But I keep clicking back to 6:41 over and over! Spectacular job guys!!! Reaffirms my love of music all over again!!!

One of my favorite songs of all times. You're bringing it (and a bunch of my other faves) to a new generation to appreciate it. My husband who a classical guitar player and Dead head (What a combo eh?) is especially impressed by the highly skilled crop of young performers who embrace bluegrass which I heard on several other of your posts so thanks for filling the world with awesome tunes and croons!
This channel just randomly appeared on my recommendations - and I am blown away. What an astonishingly talented group of musicians these are! I’ve yet to listen to a song yet that I haven’t absolutely adored. So... serious props to the algorithm that does the recommending.
Damn fine job guys!! (edit) after watching this video at least 30 times, I've decided that my favorite part is where Myles discretely and thoughtfully shows the phone (lyrics) to Tanner just before and while Tanner sings his part during to do-do-do-do-dos
Grew up on CSN&Y. In fact, the only live concert I would attend. I joined Columbia Record Club back then and 4 Way Street was one of my first album purchases!! This was an amazing rendition! CS&N would be proud.
Josh and friends - it is 1/17/2021 and we are "seniors" (but....we're still cool!) and we have a band that hasn't performed in a year now - but we are folk rock and LOVE doing CS&N, etc. We are still in self-imposed lock down. Not sure how we missed hearing this one before, as we have caught several of your videos over the years. BUT - this gave us happy heart today. We KNOW how much rehearsal goes into pulling this off, even if you're excellent musicians which you are. We appreciate every single little everything that you put into it - nothing is lost on us!!! SO happy to see younger musicians embrace and emulate greatness, and do it in such a respectable and honorable way. We are just impressed to the moon, and you make us happy. What more could you want?? lol
I come back to this recording often. Your harmonies are exquisite. At this watching, you recorded it seven years ago! Even then you and your so very talented friends were creating music to move people’s hearts. I just adore your musicality. Come to New England. Portsmouth, NH, has a terrific Music Hall. Ladysmith’s performed there too.
Big shout out from Ireland and these guys would be loved here. Your Grandson, wow! Be very proud, soooooo talented. These guys voices are incredible all together.

Always a pleasure. Thank you so much. ❤️
Another great performance from Josh and friends. I'm 65 and appreciate that these young musicians play a variety of music, including some from "my time."
Bravo to this fabulous young guitar player . Stephen Stills would be surprised as the rest of the people who watchin' it ❤❤❤❤
From Tangier , you won an old guy suscriber ....
Very good cover of this classic. Josh especially good on the Stephen Stills parts. There's a group called Foxes and Fossils who also do an excellent version.
Yupper, they do a great job as well. TV sets on sort of spoiled the mood on that video.
As all the others comment I find your music very nice to hear and makes me happy all the time watching
Thanks

@@Rickimusic The owner of that bar where Foxes and Fossils performed should be confined to hard labor for not turning off those damned TVs while that magnificent group debuted their magic onto the world. And not just because they’re great-it’s rude for any performer in your joint to have to perform under running TV screens.
@@jefffinkbonner9551 agreed.
I guess I can't like this more than once. A masterpiece played my master musicians. Thanks for allowing another visit.
It just can’t get any better than this .... a total joy to watch and enjoy!
it can and has gotten better than this. give Foxes and Fossils cover of this a try.
Incredible cover! Pure precision on the guitar parts from the dude in the red shirt! Great work!
I love this! This song was stuck in my head , so good! Three very talented musicians. I love the joy they convey in their music. I wish they lived close to me so I could enjoy in person.
Oh lordy lordy lordy, this is beyond fantastic.
Tanner Walter starting at 6:41 covering the Spanish bits, wow!! I love this song since forever. But I keep clicking back to 6:41 over and over! Spectacular job guys!!! Reaffirms my love of music all over again!!!
Dwight B same here
I keep coming back to this....I honestly believe I like it better than the original !!! ...I'm not sure tho.....I'll let you know after I listen to it a couple hundred more times...lol...Sincerely guys..this is GREAT !!!!
He and his fellow performers are treasures! Love them ....💞💞
Just don’t know HOW it gets ANY better than that! Beautiful. Blending of voices & talent extraordinary. Thank you.
I find myself coming back to watch this often.. You three killed this take!! One of the best covers I've heard! Bravo gentlemen..
That was goddamned amazing boys my hope in humanity is quite possibly restored.

Wow, just wow. You guys made my day. Not only was this spot on, I can see and feel you guys enjoying yourselves. Thank you and best of luck.
Glorious harmonies, gents. Well done.
Awesome job on the guitar, Josh!
Miriam Green Yay bluegrass!
A lovely rendition -- terrific harmonies, great guitar playing; just wonderful. Well done! Encore?
Wish I could give this another thumbs up every time I watch this! Very good. CSN would be proud.
Can't see a CSN cover being better than this, love the live performance - you guys keep it real.
So good. Tanner is my grand-son.
You must be very proud of him!
I wish I knew these fine folks personally!
This is refreshing!
After all these years, I finally heard this part clearly!! Had no idea what they were saying on the original.@Chad Thompson
Big shout out from Ireland and these guys would be loved here. Your Grandson, wow! Be very proud, soooooo talented. These guys voices are incredible all together.
almost three years ago I found this channel, and this is as gorgeous to my ears today as it was the first time I heard it. simply astonishing abilities all round.
Seeing the carefully reconstructed music and lyrics this gives me new respect for the original artists and your band!
Amazing! Live, full of energy, powerful. Great live one track and audo. Josh is an gifted guitarist who has a great ear. This is some tough harmony to keep on track. Good job fellows!
OMG The last time that was played that well there were nearly a half million people listening.
I was nineteen then.
You guys absolutely nailed a CSN great 👍!
Thank you.

He Really does---something about his tone is just great. Kinda of a Christopher Cross feel or something.
Wow, took me by complete surprise, I didn't expect such a great performance from you guys, great guitar work and vocals, you rock, thanks for posting.
I am listening to this version years and years, I will never grow tired of it. I really hope it will never be taken down
Great cover! Glad to see young generation appreciate old music like this! I grew up listening to this stuff, especially old country!
Keep it up guys!!!!
Hard to take on one of the most miraculous harmony groups of all time , but you did it well.
