I was pleasantly surprised to see Jack Black AND Christopher Lloyd in this episode 😁 I also love how the Ugnaughts are essentially the Dwarves of the SW Universe

It's Sir Grogu now (^_^ ) Loved the Bladerunner detective sidequest which earned the Mandalorians another loyal planet and the Deathly Hallows twist with the dark saber ownership was another surprise among those who guest-starred in this episode.
I, along with many others saw that loophole right after watching Din get rescued by Bo Katan. I think it was important that Bo didn't try to use that loophole herself, it would have been cheap. But because Din offered the loophole it was seen as honorable; at least that was my take on it.... ...on another note, since Grogu trained with Luke for 2 years (and was really just re-learning what he'd been taught in his past before suppressing it after Order 66), all he has to do is make his own light saber and then won't he be a Jedi... Knight? ;) haha...
If you think about it. the most normal way for a fish to die is to be eaten alive. The weird way is to be scooped out of the water with a net or a hook, suffocated or bludgeoned to death, then gutted, flayed, battered, and fried. Served with chips.
I Liked the episode. Glad Din finally got rid of a thing he never wanted and that Bo got it back. Also, Jack Black and Lizzo and Christopher Lloyd! Bringing out the big guest stars! And Grogu, of course, was adorable as ever. Just wish that a seasonal arc would be a little more obvious by now.
The retaking and establishing of Mandalore with Bo Katan riding the Mythosaur and wielding the Dark Saber to battle and this time defeat Moff Gideon isn't enough? What about the reveal of a surviving Satine as the Armorer, and a stinger end credits scene revealing Moff Gideon had been working for and we see a glimpse of a live action Thrawn? You want more than that?! Sorry, I've been reading reddit threads too much. :)

Everywhere you read about people that dont like this season because Djin and Grogu are not the lead in it but more bo-katan. What many people dont seem to understand is that the series name is mandalorian so they could have gone many directions with many mandalorian storys but they started and lasted two seasons with Djin and Grogu there journey and now its about Bo-Katan and her becoming queen again an retake mandalore.Thats not so bad is it??Me i like it i was a big fan of Bo-Katan in the clone wars and now even more .Katee was the right choice to play her.Just my opinion.
My mind was heading down the path that the Ugnaughts were doing it for one reason or another. Ugnaughts seem to get the crappy end of the stick in the Star Wars universe a lot, and seeing a few go the opposite way of Kuill and choosing to make a mess instead. I was not expecting an 80 year old Separatist just being a butthead.

@@babgab I think it was more the Imperials that treated them like that. Ugnaughts seem to enjoy repairing, building, and crafting things. It almost seems like it is part of their religion. Even when free, like Kuill, they don't seem to be interested in acquiring "nice" things, but making nice things to sell or trade. Kuill had all the freedom he wanted, and he was happy living in basically a clay house and repairing random stuff.
I hated this episode😂 This was so bad and Bo getting the dark saber back was so lack luster I was waiting for the big showdown but nope just here you go mandalorian sure have got softer since the clone wars but it was just given to her in rebels too🤣
The way thrawn walks I know who walks like that is Christian bale. With that hair cut, reminds me of him play the movie equilibrium!!!!. I would love to have Christian bale as thrawn. 😮

The character is based on Lone Wolf and cub who is also very much a Mad Max type of character who also goes on adventures with people on bigger quests. Dinn never wanted to lead he just wants what's best for Grogu, helping to set Bo up as leader of Mandalor and give Grogu a safe home to grow up and learn the ways of the creed IS Dinn's focus right now. To those of you complaining that Dinn is a side character right now only shows you aren't paying attention to why he's helping her🤷
Dinn has been holding off on that reveal for a minute. It would have had meaning to his tribe, but he knew it would mean more to Bo's former allies. This was a chef's kiss of a moment to return the Dark Saber. I bet Moff Gideon will HATE this turn of events!
But he is getting sidelined. This is something I think would have worked better with a Bo katan show. They could explore more on her family history and her journey. My guess in why they added Bo was because after Gideon, the writers kind had no idea of where to go with Din. If they weren't going to have him reclaim mandalor then the show should of ended and all this continue in a Bo Katan show with Din as a supporting character. But that's just me. Please don't hate

It wasn't something Dinn planned on being part of but it's definitely something he believes in, he never at any point wanted leadership. So it wouldn't make sense for this season to suddenly be about him wanting to lead. And as we see at the end Mandalorians don't need an entire episode to solve a who's the boss issue.

Cap in MCU only wanted to stand against bad people and ended up being the leader of the avengers. The best leaders are always those who never want to be one. I like Bo, I just don't want Mando to remain stagnant and not grow. That's what builds character. That's my thought.

I recently bought the Once Upon a Time, TV series. However I wish I had just bought a year's membership to Disney coz I could have watched it there. Plus been able to watch all the extra Star Wars content.

I’m quite sad that we’re 2 episodes left without being explicitly told who the antagonist is and a genuine sense of threat. Hoping the last 2 are out and out bangers that introduce the big blue bad boy Thrawn or Darth Talon who was rumoured to be in it early on in its development 👀
I loved this episode and teared up at the end, as it reminded me of Rebels when Sabine Wren gave Bo Katan the dark saber. The Mandalorians are rebuilding their world and status in the galaxy. The ending was epic. Bo Kantan continues to show her power and growth. Mando shows his leadership and wisdom, and Grogru keeps being adorable. We see an excellent translation of the "Filoniverse" from animation to live action. Bryce Dallas Howard needs to be the next Star Wars film director.
My only problem is the pace. I almost feel cheated with the series. They rush things when a bit more story telling could be awesome. We love the show, they should give us more detail, no need to rush it.

Hated the episode... only because most of it felt like filler. It had a few great parts but the plot could have forward so much more. Only a few episodes left and we get this??? I was a little disappointed. But loved the ending.
Meh. It's like having a show named Batman and then making the show about Robin. Bo is a huge character but they're minimizing who was originally the main character. Not to mention not advancing the plot on who BBY is or will be. It's like BBY is now just a sideshow for $$$ for Disney. Mando always said he didn't want to rule or own the saber but to me a much better plot is the saber choosing you.
That's not really a good example. The show is titled *The Mandalorian* it could easily focus on other Mandalorians beyond Din Djarin like how a Batman showed could easily move beyond Bruce Wayne. Bo Katan is taking up the mantle of Mandalore like how a Batman show could highlight Dick Grayson taking up the Mantle of Batman. And to do this you would have to have some Robin focused episodes before he takes up the mantle as Nightwing and then Batman. There's countless examples of shows that move beyond their title for example The Clone Wars has countless episodes that don't really focus on the Clone Wars conflict at all. Even Star Wars moves beyond it's title at times showcasing periods of peace.
I said it before when Bo-Katan saved Din and I’ll say it again, ALL HAIL QUEEN BO-KATAN KRYZE!!!! She needed to fall out of favor with her fleet because she needed to go back to her roots on Mandalore as well as spend time with the Children Of The Watch to completely rethink what it means to truly be Mandalorian. The Armorer was very wise when she said that Bo-Katan can walk both worlds, she can TRULY unite her people and finally take back their homeworld. And Lizzo was good, but freaking JACK BLACK and CHRISTOPHER LLOYD! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯These men were such a massive part of my childhood. Also I’m 100% for droid rights!
I hope that we can see Bo Katan and Ahsoka work together again in the future. And maybe Ahsoka can say something like "Just promise you wont slap my behind again." 😁for a great callback.
Everybody touted last weeks episode as the best of the season, I thought it was good... but this was great. Jack Black, Chris Lloyd, and Lizzo. Not to mention the awesome battle droid chase sequence and the Mandalorian showdown at the end. It goes to show you, Bryce Dallas Howard gets the best Mandalorian episodes
I saw people complaining that this nearly perfect planet has nothing to add to the plot. Do people really think that a planet with no military, rich as hell, with ulimited resources turned to RECONSTRUCTION, is for nothing? They will 100% help rebuilding Mandalore! And then the Mandalorians will be their military in exchance. It explains why the Mandalorians were mainly absent in the Sequels. I totally see Bo-Katan and Din (both as rulers of Mandalore) looking at the First Order vs Resistance war and saying: "The New Republic didn't help us when we asked for it and the Empire destroyed our home so fuck you all, we don't have time for this shit."

This episode was bad filler like at this point we should call this show adventures with bo katan with cameo of the week or in this episode case cameos it just takes me out of the episode like lizzo is not a good actress. If the battle droids were able to run that fast in this episode in the clone wars the Republic would have struggled and likely lost the war before order 66. 😂 I laughed when grogu was given knighthood like for what doing absolutely nothing same with the huge key given to bo katan like wtf 😂. I did find it funny that I complain about the rules of the darksaber in episode 2 reaction get addressed at the end of this episode like why did waste technical 6 episodes because she should have gonna the darksaber at the end of season 2 and in season 3 episode 2 like the mandalorians rules are so dumb. Two episodes left and there be no main plot so far this season is a filler season.

Greef wanted Mando to catch the runaway Mon Calamari prince in season 1. Btw he was voiced by Tom Hollands brother.

My only problem is the pace. I almost feel cheated with the series. They rush things when a bit more story telling could be awesome. We love the show, they should give us more detail, no need to rush it.

Hated the episode... only because most of it felt like filler. It had a few great parts but the plot could have forward so much more. Only a few episodes left and we get this??? I was a little disappointed. But loved the ending.
Meh. It's like having a show named Batman and then making the show about Robin. Bo is a huge character but they're minimizing who was originally the main character. Not to mention not advancing the plot on who BBY is or will be. It's like BBY is now just a sideshow for $$$ for Disney. Mando always said he didn't want to rule or own the saber but to me a much better plot is the saber choosing you.
That's not really a good example. The show is titled *The Mandalorian* it could easily focus on other Mandalorians beyond Din Djarin like how a Batman showed could easily move beyond Bruce Wayne. Bo Katan is taking up the mantle of Mandalore like how a Batman show could highlight Dick Grayson taking up the Mantle of Batman. And to do this you would have to have some Robin focused episodes before he takes up the mantle as Nightwing and then Batman. There's countless examples of shows that move beyond their title for example The Clone Wars has countless episodes that don't really focus on the Clone Wars conflict at all. Even Star Wars moves beyond it's title at times showcasing periods of peace.
I said it before when Bo-Katan saved Din and I’ll say it again, ALL HAIL QUEEN BO-KATAN KRYZE!!!!
She needed to fall out of favor with her fleet because she needed to go back to her roots on Mandalore as well as spend time with the Children Of The Watch to completely rethink what it means to truly be Mandalorian. The Armorer was very wise when she said that Bo-Katan can walk both worlds, she can TRULY unite her people and finally take back their homeworld.
And Lizzo was good, but freaking JACK BLACK and CHRISTOPHER LLOYD! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯These men were such a massive part of my childhood. Also I’m 100% for droid rights!

honestly i liked this episode i would give it a solid 7.7/10 but it has 6.9/10 rating on imdb i don't know what people didn't like about this episode
I loved this episode. It was epic in many regards, though I really love Din being able to shine with the Ughnaughts. I have spoken, err commented!

Everybody touted last weeks episode as the best of the season, I thought it was good... but this was great. Jack Black, Chris Lloyd, and Lizzo. Not to mention the awesome battle droid chase sequence and the Mandalorian showdown at the end. It goes to show you, Bryce Dallas Howard gets the best Mandalorian episodes

I saw people complaining that this nearly perfect planet has nothing to add to the plot.
Do people really think that a planet with no military, rich as hell, with ulimited resources turned to RECONSTRUCTION, is for nothing?
They will 100% help rebuilding Mandalore! And then the Mandalorians will be their military in exchance. It explains why the Mandalorians were mainly absent in the Sequels. I totally see Bo-Katan and Din (both as rulers of Mandalore) looking at the First Order vs Resistance war and saying: "The New Republic didn't help us when we asked for it and the Empire destroyed our home so fuck you all, we don't have time for this shit."

This episode was bad filler like at this point we should call this show adventures with bo katan with cameo of the week or in this episode case cameos it just takes me out of the episode like lizzo is not a good actress.
If the battle droids were able to run that fast in this episode in the clone wars the Republic would have struggled and likely lost the war before order 66. 😂
I laughed when grogu was given knighthood like for what doing absolutely nothing same with the huge key given to bo katan like wtf 😂.
I did find it funny that I complain about the rules of the darksaber in episode 2 reaction get addressed at the end of this episode like why did waste technical 6 episodes because she should have gonna the darksaber at the end of season 2 and in season 3 episode 2 like the mandalorians rules are so dumb.
Two episodes left and there be no main plot so far this season is a filler season.
I think Lizzo did fine as a native royal to an outer rim planet.
