  • Today I'm weathering 3 IDR models BBW/NWHF wagons and adding loads to them.
Now in 4K! What's next? A voice over?!
    About the wagon
    -----
The BBW/NHWF wagon was first introduced to the NSW Railways in the 1920s and became the standard ballast hopper for the NSW government railways for almost 60 years until the introduction of the NDFF in the early 1990s but continued to be used until 1997.

Nice job Allan. The addition of the load and the lose stones on the ends really make the model look 10 times more realistic! espically combined with your weathering job.

They look awesome, great job. I would still prefer to have removable loads, but that's just me

Mate , Good stuff ..Have you considered "Live Loads" adds weight to light weight models looks realistic as one can get , can't be transported that well but adds dust to what you have already created ...just food for thought...
