Yea I gotta agree Subis are great cars minus the 2.5 ltr boxer engine that give you a nice 1-2k dollar head gasket repair bill at around 100k. It's worth it though. I've had pretty much every model but the Forrester and Baja and they're all tanks in the winter. And that's going up to the mountains in Vermont driving the same way I do in the summer and no issues. Especially with studded snow tires. So fucking good in the snow. The awd VW Passat I have now is a tank too. Another I can suggest if you drive in the snow a lot.

Thats just me and God bless Joey and all his success, but all the weed smoking and edibles really was an awesome aspect of the PodCast, i miss it. Havent watched a full episode in 4 ever

Leasing is the worst way to buy a car, simply, it's another form of financing, but you are financing what they expect the car to devalue by the end of the lease, on a very high interest rate(usually 16% annually or more), not to mention all the milage limitations and having to keep the car in good condition by the end of the lease. If you have 5k, you better off saving 4k and buying a beater for 1k and driving it until the wheels fall off and then getting another beater after that.

i had the same luck with cars. my record was 4 lemons in 1 year. fix the brake system and the timing belt would go. replace a head gasket and the rear end would break. just some cars seem to have gremlins and wont break down till i own it.

Just replaced the battery, battery wires, and alternator in it. It's a slick little car. I love it.

Bought it in 2008 for 14K and about $3,800 in service, tires, and repairs since. That's less than $1200 per year....$100 a month for safe and comfortable transportation.
