smithyk1s Hahahah!

Holy shit, I just got my double end bag in and tried it out and mine moves alot more than this one. And I know it will take a while to get as good but its difficult for sure
All about accuracy mate, all about accuracy, control and focus
The bag that can hit you back.
Gets a double end bag.
Puches as hard as possible.

P.S. there's a lot of haters making comments! The man wasn't showcasing his awesomeness. It was a informative video on usage of a double end bag. And it's a "double end bag". How does such a simple, straight to the point video generate so much hate? To the maker of the video, keep up the good work.
Much appreciated!
expertboxing Don't reach for body shots. Pretend like your slipping for hooks and jabs, and lunge forward but don't lean for crosses. You're welcome, thanks for the vid. It was amazing.
EZ Street boi where?
Insecure humans....;)
Idiotic living up to the name
Kid, you deserve a big thank you for your videos. My kids take you seriously. Don't worry about the trash talking, these trolls never set a foot in a gym.
Boxing is about respect.
Hey thank you for the big support, Atila!! It means a lot.
@@expertboxing any time bud. I used to be a good boxer. People don't understand how hard it is to do what you make look so simple.
All the best!
I tried to do this at the YMCA and could not even close to doing what you are doing. I was hitting a bunch of air. What's most impressive about this video to me is not your boxing skills, but your communication skills and how you address the audience. This is something I definitely want to learn how to do. Do you have another video for the complete beginner like me?
Go to a local boxing gym bud
First and foremost, great accuracy like ive previously commented before. I've realized how difficult the double-end bag really is when I started boxing not too while ago. By watching this tutorial, I will be more confident when I approached this technical bag! Thanks man your the best! The more I go to boxing class and watch your videos, the more I boxing as itself! I feel that Boxing is under rated as a combat sport but it deserves more attention.
Thanks for the comment! Amen!
Love the sport. Starting to get back into it. Have my little ones starting to like it. Positive energy 👌.
VERY nice; i have a 'slow' bag myself, concentrating on the slips.
Totally. It would be perfect for a first-time beginner. You'll learn a million things all structured in an organized manner so you don't feel like you've got all sorts of confusing conflicting information. It's a great way to learn boxing quickly.
Just recently broke my Reflex bag(Pole snapped at bottom), my speedbag(Swivel snapped) and my H.B(Split open/ in half).
Luckily though I've got one standard double end bag and one really small one that I'll be using until and after receiving my new H.B.
Thanks for nice tutorial all while explaining that some D.E bags tend to move more or less depending on what you want to practice.
Loved practicing my slipping/dodging/faints on the reflex bag but will be fun finally putting the D.E one to good use, I've used the smallest one several times though there's and extremely small impact area on it which can lead to a bit of frustration.
But hey, practice makes perfect. Thx again and ofc I'm subbing.
Peace and love my brother.
Very creative ideas, both offense and defense. Great job!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge, Dorsey. I love it when the old guys that come out and share.
Great series I learn enough to work out and feel like I'm always improving.
THanks for the tips! We just got one at the gym, and i like to box, so this is awesome to use.
Double end bag for sure!
This is pro! A must use. It's really addicting when you get a hang of it and get the timing down. Improved my accuracy ten fold and gave me this confidence that I didn't even feel hitting the heavy bag everyday. Great video bro. You da man!
Hell yeah!!!!
Congrats! This is the best Double End bag demo and drill sharing I've seen. Its good to see some one who knows, sharing some Double End magic. Usually, it's either big pro names training, or small/unshown skilled teaching.
Thanks, Gil. I'll try to put up more drills later. There are so many things you can do with this bag.
Very helpful, excellent production, thank you!
This thing has helped my boxing more than anything.
This was incredible thank you !!!
Great stuff, very informative!
Thanks champ quick short and informative

Double end bag is so unpredictable and hard...today do it first time and its awesome :)

Very good video, thank you for your tips!
Great advice : it wont wreck your hands like the heavy bag 😺👍
For real haha
Yup. I completely fucked up my hand after one boxing class
@@hardpack187 sorry man - I have trouble with the middle finger on my right - use 2 pairs of wraps and 14oz gloves - it really helps
@@roypadayachy4696 It was my fault for having a loose fist. My thumb hit the bag first and really over extended my tendon.
@@hardpack187 😳 sorry to hear man - its the trainers fault too - my rule is dont go near the bag without fully wrapped hands and anything less than 12oz gloves 🥊🥊
Great vid :-)
Good job giving instructions man!

Thanks for the video!
Good for you, David. Boxing is an awesome workout.
One of the best network coaches! I have been training last 10 years, and have seen so long coaches in the gym, an their level was so low, im not boxer, I am muay Thai fighter, but have checked Johnny expert boxing! And want to see guys itis one of the best deep understanded coaches in the game!!!
Great video bro...keep it up.
Awesome video. Thanks.
I love your videos thank you for breaking it down for me. I know every Boxer appreciates your video
thank you Joel!
Great moves man, you're accuracy and speed are really good all these other double end bag videos look like robots hitting the bag.
Tony Kras Thanks, Tony.
Tony Kras Not ragging on you, but you are punching down to hit the body, which could get you tagged and leave you open to big hits. You should crouch down to that level instead, but otherwise good.
Sometimes I crouch down when I throw body shots, other times I don't. Distinguishing between the two adds dimension to my fighting strategy. Crouching is not necessary and at times can be a telltale sign of you going for the body shot.
Thanks from Texas
Good shit brother, keep it up
That was on point! All around great job. Thanks.
Thank you!
I just started boxing training, Johnny, thank you for your videos, they're great because they explain everything in a way I can quickly grasp and I reference them constantly. I wish I would've started boxing sooner, but there's no day like today to get started, Thanks again.
Thank you, friend!! Glad they helped.
Nice video!
im in boxing and ur video helped me
Good video, very learnfull.
This guy is great!

Thank you!
Thank you, sir!
Great video ! Like all the ones you make!thanks!
Thank you!
That thing is super hard. You make it look a lot easier though!!! Wow!!!
My son (8), has been in boxing for a couple months now in a youth program at a Golden Gloves gym, and got invited to train another day during the with the boxers. He loves working the double end bag. I'll be sure to show him this
awesome and congrats to your son! keep that fire burning!!
you are smart man!!!!
There are many kinds. At my gym we have both loose and tight double-end bags. The one in this video is actually about in the middle. A tight double-end bag can be good for practicing really fast combinations since it forces you to throw faster to match the quick rebound rhythm.
double end bag is life ...
Just purchased: "How to box in 10 days" I recently joined a gym and the coaches have their favorites they constantly work with, I got tired of pestering them with questions, this material should help get going and I'll ask for their assistance along the way. Thanks Johnny!
Awesome!! Hahaha yes, the guide is really helpful for you to get all the fundamentals in a structured way so you can get more out of your time with coaches.
Excellent presentation and training tips
Hey thanks (Alan?), it means a lot coming from you.
Nice video!! My opinion on glove size that someone asked... I use nothing less than 16oz. Because the more weight you use, the fastest your hands will be with lighter gloves or no gloves. It'll make it more challenging to keep up with the bag with heavier gloves.
very good impressed
got my first match saturday, nice video.
Appreciate this, thanks friend. I think I have the one that swings a lot. The tighter one interest me a lot though
glad you like it :)
Definitely going to make the purchase after this thanks bro
You're welcome.
What double end bag did you end up purchasing?
this is funy,great!!
Nice, Tips taken :-D
thanks
Love the video brother keep it up!
thank you man
Excellent Boxing Lesson ~ Good Job !
You have good teaching skills and you gave a good demo .
Paulie D' The Punch Professro
realy nice vid. go ahead
nice
double ended bags are just fun to use, instead of getting one of those blow up boppers when i was little my dad bought me a double ended bag to hang on the closet door at 5yo, just bought my son one on his 5th bday. such a small cheap items teaches a lot of basic fighting skills.
Roamy Bard Family of Boxers, that awesome as hell! btw since you sound experience by default, what size bag do you think Johnny from Expert Boxing has? I've been wanted to buy one of these and so far I've done homework on it. looks to me that Title is the best brand for this kind of work out.
Thank you sir now it's been 4 months and I can dodge and throw a counter punch!
beautiful news!
What I tend to do for breathing when striking , is to breath out as fast and as powerful as you can, if you do this correctly you should feel your core tighten up every time you do this, I also find that when I do this I make sharp fs sound, if you are starting out boxing or any martial art, this may sound stupid but this helps tremendously with your training. the faster your breathe the faster you need your punch to be. in all sports speed comes first , then power. Much respect Johnny - Chris
this is exactly video wat i want!!!thank u so much~^^because recently i have been learning boxing~specially double end bag!!!^^
Awesome! So glad I could help.
My favorite bag ever
Yes, I love it too!
Man crazy!
I'm trying to set my bag up. Just got one from boxing. Should I keep this a bit lower from eye level?
Mine came with elastic bands so I can determine how tight to make it I think.
Yes it is! I don't train with these any more, though. I just like the red color for video purposes.
Buenas tips de entrenamiento
Would love to get a few videos on your workouts other than boxing. Looks like you know what you're doing. Thanks for an awesome channel 🤙🏼
Ok will try if I ever get access to a quiet gym. Thank you for the comment.
this guy got skills
Depends on the kind of muscle you gain and whether or not it's effective for punching power.
