Quick video of me warming down my boxing training on the double-end bag. This is NOT what I usually do in a double-end bag workout.

The reflex bag is a floor mounted vertical stick with a joint about 2 feet from the top and a bag at the top that looks like a speed bag. Look it up on google.

They are not the same. I don't like reflex bags and I never used them. I've never seen anybody use them over a double-end bag, either.

I hit it like a double-end bag. You can practice any punch you want.

Try using both and see for yourself. The reflex is terrible...no change to develop rhythm. Even if you hit it right, it flops around at weird angles. Very hard to land combinations. It's not very good at helping you practice slipping.
Comparing the the double-end bag to the reflex bag is like comparing a heavy bag to a pillow on the wall.
