Hi Magic, big fan of your Channel and also of this Video. I have a question: I bought the nisi black Mist 1/8 and have tried it today during Golden Hour with my Sony 7IV and the 35 1.4 GM. And I experienced All kind of really bad flaring with the Nisi Filter. i still managed to get some nice shots, but the flearing was really bad. At 1.4 and also at 4 or 5.6 etc. Did I make a Mistake or did you also experience that? Thank‘s for a short answer!

For me, 1/8 is useful for just general shooting in bright sunlight. It gives a little bit of blooming and also softens the shadows. If you want a very noticeable filter "effect" then I'd probably go with 1/2. Then again, the close up portrait looks best with 1/4. Ugggh. They're all cool. Maybe 1/4 is the Goldilocks strength.

Hej Maciej! Chętnie sprawdziłbym w boju filtr o mocy 1/8 (82 mm) ponieważ jest on najbardziej uniwersalny i idealnie pasowałby do rodzaju fotografii jaki preferujemy. 📸 Czy w przypadku zdjęć podczas mgły efekt jeszcze bardziej się wzmacnia, czy zdjęcia w takich warunkach zbyt mocno się nie zmieniają? Masz jakieś doświadczenie z taką aurą? Pozdrawiamy z pochmurnego Tomaszowa Mazowieckiego i oczywiście zostawiam suba! ❤

Can I add a filter on another one without adapters if they have the same size, for instance 77mm? so I’d like to put a black mist on a 77mm diameter lens and then a nd+cpl filter on the black mist. Without holder or adapter can I?
Thank you for explaning I really appreciated! ☺ I have a question for you, thank you in advance for answring... I would like to use the lens Sony 24-105mm on my Sony A7IV, then I would like to apply a Nisi Black Mist on it, and on the black mist I’d like to put the ND64 6stops + CPL integrated filter by Nisi. Will I make a mess of my photos and videos? Would this be a bad choice to make? Is the 24-105mm G really less sharp, bidimensional, sad looking and not good in night, low light or indoors situations? Cause my intention is to get a tridimensional, cinematic looking on my photos and videos.

@@MagicWeddingPhotographer good idea, maybe I shouldn't dismiss it completely, too. What I also recognized is, that those filters seem to intensify unwanted color casts - such as green tints from grass.or foliage.

I like no filter more. maybe mist filters give a bit of atmosphere for the wedding photos but photos looks a bit washed and flat. A bit like you putting in photoshop some additional layer on top that is a bit disturbing and you loosing this nice bokeh circles as well.
    Nice comparison!
