It looks so good for couples. 👏🏼 Definitely gives a filmic look way better than a preset.

Nisi au/nz has been great for customer support in my experience. Responsive to questions and happy to send me replacements when I wrecked the sealing gasket thing on my 15 stop nd.

Great video, I have just got 1/4 one. Can you tell me do you use the camera in the same way regarding settings. Or do you have to compensate in some way.

Great video as always Chris, been using the same filters for a while. Shot a couple of weddings with them and stopped as the mist effect is part of the raw image. Its great if you want that look but no going back in editing. Any plans for a workshop here in Auckland? Your channel has been like a book for me starting my full time wedding photography business.

Hello. can we screw a sun hood on the Nisi filter? can we screw a 1/8 black mist onto a 1/4 black mist? . thank you so much

What size millimeter filter do you use for the tamron 28-75?

From the video samples, the 1/4 and 1/8 look almost identical to me.
How do they compare in photography? I'm a hybrid shooter so I want to be somewhere in the middle.

In the video test at the end the last 2, specially 1/2 seem to make the footage a bit out of focus. But for the pictures with 1/8 it's definitely a great look

Interesting! Looks very similar to shooting an old vintage lens wide open, but with the benefit of using auto focus. A lot of vintage lenses does however have a special color rendering if you are into that. Great video!

Last year, in a lapse of judgement, I cleaned all my lenses using rubbing alcohol and damaged the coatings. Pretty much gave myself a constant 1/8 mist filter that I hate :S

1/8 is great for taking the video/digital look off images. For a long time I've also kept one on a compact (Lumix Lx100 M2). Hollywood DoPs used to use a silk stocking on the lens.

I’m not sure why my photos look so grainy from 1/4 even at iso 100. Is that normal?
