DHOKLA
Ingredients
1. Rava 1 cup
2. Curd 1 cup
3. Green chilli 2 -3
4. Ginger 1
5. Salt to taste
6. Oil 1 tbsp
7. Asafoetida powder ½ tsp
8. Sugar ½ tsp
9. Soda powder 1 tsp
10. Lemon juice ½ of 1
Seasoning
1. Oil 2 tbsp
2. Mustard seed 1 tsp
3. Black gram dal 1 tbsp
4. Channa dal 1 tbsp
5. Green chilli 3-4
6. Asafoetida powder 1 tsp
7. Curry leaves plenty
8. Sugar ½ tsp
Garnish
1. Chopped coriander leaves 2 tbsp
PREPARATION
1. Beat the curd , green chilli and ginger together
2. Mix all the items that is beaten curd and every thing else and set aside
10 mints.Batter consistency that of idly
3. Coat a plate well with oil , pour the whole into it and steam.10 -15 mints.
4. When done remove , immediately season with the ingredients,add ½ cup water to it, boil , pour over the dhokla, garnish with the chopped coriander.
5. Serve hot or at room temperature.
