The last song dedicated to all the Indian freedom fighters......
This movie is insane, and the director is James Cameron of Indian cinema........his Next movie "SSMB" is forest fantasy adventure releasing in 2025......
The Director of this movie is a big fan of Indian mythology and lores.
In this story, the character of Raju is a reference to Lord Rama (an Avatar of Lord Vishnu who carries bow and arrow) and his better half is Seeta which is also a reference to the wife of Lord Rama. We see the idols many times throughout the movie; when Bheem promises Seeta that he will bring back Ram to her
Then the entire 'makeover' of Raju into lord Ram. The background score is also a sanskrit chant of lord Rama and his glories.
Apart from the mythology these two characters (Bheem and Raju) are inspired by actual Indian freedom fighters. ☺️
Hope to see more Indian content soon!
Hope Rajamouli will make his 10-part Mahabharata at some point.
It's not mythology it's our history

Thanks for the cool reactions. Now we are ready for Baahubali 1& 2. Epic. Greetings from El Salvador
Yes we need baahubali 1,2 then Eega
Where to even start with the mythological references..
Well to start with Ram is a god with incredible marksmanship and Seeta is his wife. Both Ram and Seeta are worshiped all throughout India and are seen in a light of great respect.
Bheem is also another mythological figure and is known for his incredible strength. Yes Arjun and Karn are Bheem's brother but they don't know that Karn is their brother for the longest time because their mother abandoned karn soon after he was born. There's a lot more story but i'll leave it at that.
One thing to note is that both the protagonists are inspired from different stories in Indian mythology. Ram and Seeta are from Ramayan and Bheem is from Mahabharat.
If I missed anything or am wrong about anything feel free to correct me. There was a lot of symbolism.
That's just the secondary inspiration/symbolism built into the characters. They are actually based on two real life freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju & Komaram Bheem. Info toh sahi se diya karo yaar
@@siddharthmehta6220 oh i didn't know that..i was just giving the mythological part of it..
correction historic references not "mythological references".
Very few Indian movie stars do their own singing, and this is no exception. The singers who dub for movies tend to be called "playback singers," and they can achieve movie star levels of fame for their work.
This is the reaction I was waiting for a long time but didn’t expect it. In india movies are celebrated like crazy. India makes more movies than any other country in a single year.
You can watch a Japanese production of an Indian mythological epic (an anime styled version) of Ramayana.
@@dhanushviswa7777movie name and where can I find that
@@dhanushviswa7777mythological ?
Since you asked: the statue at the end was of Lord Rama, one of the most populat figure of Indian mythology. Ram appeared in his image for the final battle, because Alluri Sitarama Raju (I mean the real historical figure, the freedom fighter) dressed that way to inspire people. Lord Rama is an avatar of Visnu, and he's a great archer. (Well, and his wife is Seetha in the mythology, too.) Bheem appears to be partly Bhima, partly Hanuman, but I'm not an expert, so maybe someone will correct me.
That sounds right. Also Ram takes on the likeness of Krishna earlier in the film when he was driving the four white horses into battle.
Its not mythology, its history
Bheem from Mahabharata had the strength of 1000 elephants.

Nutshells of RRR movie (2)
6) In a scene where they show the security measures of the palace they had 2 doors at entrance, only after closing the 1st door they will open 2nd door, if we observe both the doors clearly and also if we listen to the creek sounds of both doors, we would know the outer door is a wooden one, and the inner door is a metal one, so to rescue malli they can break the outer door but they can't break the inner door, that's the reason y the character jhangu climbs a tree and listens for the 2nd door to open to rescue malli in interval scene... Every small detail in this movie is well planned and well executed...
7) the scene about bheem carrying ram in the climax sequence may seem a bit overemphasized, but even earlier in the film in dosti song there was a shot giving easter eggs, where we can see jr ntr doing squats on the ground lifting ram charan, then ram charan does pull ups holding a tree branch, this way rajamouli is planting an idea subconsciously to his audience that jr ntr got lower body strength n ram charan got upper body strength... So that audience get convinced during the climax scene where bheem carries ram... Even the scene seems physically impossible, rajamouli never hesitates to show his ideas n imaginations in the mostmost convincing way possible, that scene may be impossible but u could never find any other director pulling of such a scene in any film like rajamouli... Respect....
8) The same way In climax fight sequence bheem lifting a bike looks over the top for sure, but do u know those bikes were actually used during second world war time so that in any unforeseen situation during war the soldiers can actually carry the bikes, those bikes weight around 55kgs only, i agree that even 55 kg bike travelling at 50kmph velocity is difficult to be lifted... But look at the way it was imagined, presented, picturized, the mesmerising cinematography in that scene, the kind of goosebumps it gave us, we should watch the movie for its epicness, rather than being nitpicky about everything....
9) At the climax that transformation of ram charan🔥🔥, many people thought that was sree ram's avatar, there are many indian purana's references to the movie for sure but its not only sree ram's avatar, it is also about the original look of Alluri seeta rama raju (the freedom fighter ram charan was playing), alluri seeta rama raju in history was well learnt man who wears those kashayam clothes fights with bow n arrows, probably the best archer india has ever had, he fought against britishers he got weapons n guns by attacking police stations n british camps, he used the same weapons to attack britishers with his trusted men... Even he was shot dead bybritishers in the freedom struggle... Legend says that britishers put around 100 bullets in his body n ruthlessly killed him... At the end of the film rajamouli showed ram n bheem in their original looks ram wearing kashayam clothes, with long hair n beard, bheem with a pagdi on his head n those clothes gond people used to wear...
10) the final RRR fact, For the interval sequence with animals rajamouli shot for around 65 nights, each night they spent around 75lakhs for the shoot itself... In that interval sequence they had to imagine animals were there n fight accordingly, for that to happen n so that each n every background artist to be in sync with the CG animals rajamouli employed different tactics while shoot
a) for bear they used a person wearing green blanket, since the movement of bear is slow similar to a human being...
b)For shots with tiger, tiger moves much faster than humans, so they can't just place a human with green blanket, so rajamouli positioned laser lights following the head position of the tiger, so that camera man n actors can imagine the position of tiger n act accordingly.
c) for wolves they used dogs which were trained to catch a ball, while shooting the sequence they randomly throw the balls in middle of men, so the dogs chase the balls, in that way rajamouli captured peoples reactions to wolves, later on during CG he replaced the dogs with wolves...
d) for other fast moving animals like deers, they used remote controlled cars moving in between the actors....
n many more...

39:07 All the figures shown at this point are Freedom fighters of india in their respective era. As an indian i was able to pick up all the secret points, which almost made me cry as i know what they meant for every indian. Thanks for Reacting to this epic Movie. Love from India 🇮🇳❤.
In the end dance scene..it was indeed freedom fighters that were shown in the background
"You know how ladies sometimes have protein bars in their purse"
Is that what they store in there? I had no idea.
- The late Ray Stevenson and Alison Doody played the governor and his wife. Ray was Volstagg in the 'Thor' movies, Frank Castle aka The Punisher in one of The Punisher movies, and Titus Pullo in the HBO series 'Rome'. Ray will appear in 'Ahsoka' on Disney Plus as a former Jedi named Baylon Skoll, unfortunately, he passed away a few months ago. Alison Doody was Dr. Elsa Schneider in 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade'.
- The way Indian films work is that they pre-record the vocals using recording stars that are just as famous and beloved as the actors and actresses on screen, as the actors then lip sync to the playback. The choreographer basically takes over the set during the musical sequences, setting up shots, directing everything including the dance moves. A few choreographers have become full-fledged directors. In the final song, director S. S. Rajamouli was the gray-haired one in a few shots.
- The characters of Bheem and Ram were real men, but it is unknown if they ever met. There is however a span of time when both men kind of drop off the radar, so to speak, and the film plays with this. In a way, it is a lot like Tarantino's 'Inglorious Basterds' and 'Django Unchained' in how it plays with history.
- I don't know the names of all of them, but during the end song, all of the people that are shown were figures who were freedom fighters for Indian Independence over many years. The only one I recognized was Bhagat Singh.
- It was brought up by Nobu about Arjuna. Arjuna was a figure in The Mahabharata. The third of five brothers who fought for the throne of Bharat (India or the world) against their cousins, the Kavauras who were 100 brothers and 1 sister. The brothers were the Pandavas, and the second brother was named Bheema, or Bheem. Bheema was the strongest of the Pandavas. Also, Karna was a half-brother to the Pandavas and sided against them in the war, a rather tragic character. It should also be said that the Pandavas and Karna were demigods, as they were all fathered by gods and born to mortal mothers.
- Others have commented about Ram and his association with Rama. The story of Rama and Sita is The Ramayana. The Ramayana and The Mahabharata are the main "story" holy books of Indian Mythology and Hinduism, backed by The Vedas (Rig Veda), and the Upanishads. The Bhagavad Gita, which is quite short, is actually a part of the Mahabharata.
- "Naatu Naatu" was the first Indian song from an Indian film to win Best Song at the Oscars last year. Personally, the film should have been nominated for a ton of Oscars! The song was filmed at The Presidential Palace in Kyiv, Ukraine before the war started with the permission of President Zelensky.
ray was on das boot web series too he was British submarine commander.
Please watch these Indian movies next, you'll absolutely love them:
- 3 Idiots (Just gotta experience it. First Indian movie to get huge international success in all of Asia & Latin America),
- Andhadhun (An Incredible Thriller about a blind pianist getting mixed up in a murder).
- Bajrangi Bhaijaan (an emotional roller coaster about a mute Pakistani girl who gets lost in India),
- Dangal (great sports drama biopic),
- PK (a comedy that talks about superstition in religion)
3 Idiots never fails to make me cry. Andhadhun was a wild ride. Only seen PK once and not seen the others.

Bollywood begger all over begging to watch their movies under tollywood movie
@@arjunp4221 it's a big world full of movies. Why does it have to be one industry vs another? Just appreciate anything you can. You're just a little dunda.
Andhadhun is so good!
Both charecters are real life freedom fighters. Rama Raju actually got the guns for the rebels and there are two conclusions to what happened to him, one he was killed in act and other one is that he is missing in action. Bheem on the other hand was actually a tribal freedom fighter who was a poet for the cause (indicates in the movie when he sings while getting flocked) . Both of them has never met in real life and in the movie it shows fictionally what would happen if they met.
The middle aged guy at the end is the legendary SSR. He has a small quirk, he tries to appear on screen for few sconds on his every movie (it's almost a suprise in every movie, like you kinda know he will appear but never know what character he plays)
SS Rajamouli is India's biggest director. 🇮🇳🙏 His all movies is India's biggest movies. And also, he known for presenting India's #Culture in a Best way in #IndianCinema and now in World cinema also, Because #RRR was trending 10 consecutive weeks in 57+ Countries across the world.

That is actual god in our Hinduism religion the " lord Rama " .
And the figures which are shown in last song credits are real life freedom fighters who had given their life against battling the British empire
We got independence in 1947
Britishers did same things to us Indians just like what Germans did to jews
I will recommend you to watch sardar udham movie , that movie shown a real life incident happened where British officers literally killed around 50 thousand Indians when they were peacefully protesting against the bill issued by British government in 1920 . That's was a horrific incident happened

One of the mythological references, besides Lord Rama, is Bheem's plot to save Ram. It is an inversion of Rama saving Sita from the clutches of Ravana in the _Ramayana._ The prison is also named after Ravana's kingdom, Lanka. It's an interesting twist as it paints Bheem as the hero and Ram as the heroine for the final act. Really the whole film plays with typical story roles and lets the two leads play them all.
Also, Bheem has many similarities to both Bhima (a god with inhuman strength who appears in the _Mahabharata_ ) and Hanuman, who trains and assists Rama throughout the _Ramayana._
I'm sure there are other things I am missing. The lore one can draw from Hinduism takes decades to learn!
These guys are the fighting duo of the millennium. Hands-down!
You got the spirit of the movie.
Well done!
It was fun to watch your reaction
You should watch Ramayana: the legend of Prince Rama 1992. An animated movie about the indian epic Ramayana.
It’s funny cause at the beginning of the movie Edward was trying to be funny and said “what are they gonna do shoot us down with their bows and arrows” and that’s exactly what happened to them 😂😂😂 and that’s what they all get that’s what happens when your power hungry and have to much pride and toxic masculinity but I still love this movie and love watching people see it for the first time it’s amazing
Ram is actually named after Shri Ram/Lord Ram. Who is a central deity in Hindu Culture.
He was revered for his principles and upholding righteousness. He is always depicted with a Bow and Arrow. The Whole epic of Ramayana was an inspiration on a part of this film.
For example, Seetha is Sita. She was Shri Ram’s wife. In this story, Ram is on a self-imposed exile. While in Ramayana, Shri Ram, Mother Sita, and his brother Lakshman were exiled for 14 years from their kingdom because of some family related stuff.
Bheema was an Ancient Warrior in Indian History. He was in one of the two clans who Battle in the historical text of Mahabharata. He was revered for his Brute Strength and Physical Might.
After Bheema rescues Ram, he finds a Temple with a Sculpture. That Sculpture is of Shri Ram himself. In many parts of India. Sculptures of Shri Ram are adorned with real Bow and Arrows.
The film basically represented Shri Ram through Ram.
The shot between 32:22-32:28 was deliberately filmed in that way to portray the Divinity of the character in that form. I think it was done beautifully.
Better than everything everywhere all at once in my opinion.
Our GOD Ram is equal to Jesus for you.Rama was descendant of Ikshvaku. That is what the song mentioned. In Ramayana the story of Ram he was supported by Hanuman in fighting against Ravana demon king. Hanuman also carried Lord Ram on Shoulders like the jail escape scene in the movie. Hanuman is Avatar of Lord Shiva and Ram is the Avatar of Lord Vishnu.
Watch Magadheera movie one of the best movie of Ram 🔥
It's basically an 80's action movie combined with a 70's musical (and cgi mixed with practical effects to good use).
39:28 those are the real freedom fighters of India
Yes, shaving the beard and keeping the mustache was very uniquely British at the time. That's why Lacchu was so shocked when he described Raju (Ram) as "looking like us" (tribal people) with a full beard. Keep in mind that modern police weren't created until 1829 in England, and that undercover work was VERY highly regulated at the time. Plainclothes officers had to be authorized at a VERY high level to minimize the possibility of using them as political operatives. So in the early 1900s, for a Telugu man to have the mustache ONLY would have been an automatic sign that they were, at the very least, a collaborator with the British (or an employee). They would either have long hair and beards, or be completely shaven if they were Brahmins (priestly caste). In the 50s and 60s post-independence well into the late 90s, ironically, a well-kept mustache was considered the most professional looking facial hairstyle among Southern Indian men, until full beards started making a comeback with our generation starting in the 2010s - because it took that long for it to be socially acceptable. The more you know.
"The sun never sets on the English Empire"
I like when the blood splatter covers that sign.
I’ve been waiting for you guys to react to this since it came out! I’d love to see you guys react to more Indian films. If you’re interested, I would recommend the Bahubali movies (also directed by SS Rajamouli), Jodhaa Akbar, Pathaan, anything by Karan Johar or Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and Tumbbad, a horror film.
If you observe carefully the whole movie plot lies in the Bridge scene. Where it shows the Boy stucks in Water...Imagine its ( malli ),Ram goes with Flag and Bheem goes for Boy ..when Bheem caught boy and he handed him over to Raju ,,then Raju hands him flag . Where it shows they both EXCHANGE their mission in order to get success....at the end RAJU. Saves malli ,,Bheem kills Scott (British king) ......how beauty & creative the scene making
people tend to oversee the hidden meaning behind it
The action is incredible.

Please tell me where you felt this movie 'dragged"???? In Indian culture the use of brother/uncle/sister are used in terms of respect and unity/clan, not just as in family.
24:58 that part cuz she was telling a story which we all already knew
Yeah, personally the 3 hours flew by for me. Not a single dull moment. We got two movie's worth of story in one film. Every scene introduced new characters, new action, or new information. But some people have different tolerance for long movies, I guess.
@@Raja_Simhan We knew it, but he didn't. It sets up the last act of the film. I didn't find it dragging.

Despite some insane and physics defying action set pieces, it works because of conviction & dedication of actors in their actions & emotions. When you see Bheem holding back that tiger with all his strength or Ram swinging that Baton and beating people to make his way in opening scenes, they make you believe that they can do that. Background score and cinematography just elevates the standard of entire film on its own. I had many Criticism about this film too but most of them have to do with cgi and action sequences even though there are some great action sequences and cgi too. In some part it's also little bit off. But because the budget of the film is only 72 million dollars, those things can be forgiven. Many big budget action films cost around 200 million dollars. This movie is designed for an Indian Audience & as n Indian, i was surprised that it worked in other parts of the world too. Our movies are more about symbolism, melodrama, music & entertainment value. I thought people from other countries are not used to watch this kind of filmmaking but it really worked. 😂 I hope you guys loved the movie. Lots of love from India.
We indians are proud of the director Rajamouli of the movie "RRR" !!We indians admire him !Vande Mataram!!❤❤❤🇮🇳🔥🇮🇳🔥🇮🇳❤️❤️❤️❤️
"The Accountant"with Ben Affleck would be a great movie choice to react to.
Ram is our God. And Sita Mata is our mother
I loved watching you guys lose your minds over this film! 😂❤
What a pleasure to see these images again thanks to you! I've seen very few Indian films, but I'm never disappointed. For a next one, watch Om Shanti Om, it's magic ! Have you thought about watching French movies? I know it's not easy to find them, but there are some that are recognized in the United States: Brotherhood of the wolf, A very lon engagement... 😉
Best comments were -- "Not the Time"... and "Cannons are gonna bounce of him"..... we all agree.. but we all forgive.....for the story... and Action. and presentation...
do you know "SCOTT" the villain of this movie is the Punisher of Marvel universe...
The characters are based on freedom fighters Alluri Sita Rama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Historically they never met. So, this movie is a fiction based on real people. You may have thought that Seeta character is weird. But Sita was the wife of Alluri Sita Rama Raju in real life and that is why she’s in the movie. Even the regions they are from is accurate. Also, in Telugu(original language of the movie) their dialects are also accurate. Both speak dialects of their own region. This background would help you understand why some aspects like Sita, why there is a bow and arrow fight in the end (Alluri Sita Rama Raju actually used bow and arrows in “saffron robes” in 1920s in his fight against British). Some aspects like those might be random for you but we Indians relished the symbolism to history. Both these persons were actually caught and killed by British. But they were a great inspiration for others to keep fighting.
Now just watch 3 idiots next and the British really had lighter motorcycles during ww2 so that the soldiers could carry it and travel for days on foot
Another recommendation would be KESAR. It's based on a true story of how 21 soldiers fought against 10,000 opponents . Bollywood movie.
I can't express how happy I am that you guys reacted to an Indian movie. Please try some more. If you like RRR, then you can try some more of SS Rajamouli's movie

Nutshells off RRR MOVIE
RRR(Rise -Roar -Revolt) Telugu film Industry,India.(Tollywood)
1) Time period of 1920 yr.. True, Real Freedom fighters, seeta rama raju from andhra pradesh state and Komuram bheem from telangana statess, in history both of them Raju and bheem were from same timeline but never met each other in reality, in original history they both went missing for 4 years during this 1920 time period, no one knows where they went and what they did, but after 4 years they both returned to their villages and fought their own fights and both sacrificed their lives for our country, Director rajamouli hv woven a fictional story that what happens if they met each other, and exchange their ideas and ideologies in the time period they went missing... That's how this movie was born.... This movie is about India's freedom from british rule,
2) whole story concept revealed instantly with an a logic instant ideas applying to the scenes,
On Train blast incident, Ramraju catches a flag (a strong will for freedom mission resembles a Flag) n Komuram Bheem save a child (resembles as saviour to get back a girl , mission of Bheem ) exchanged by them, their missions..n finally they complete their Goal Togeather..
2) In RRR we find the performances of english actors far better, that's because rajamouli approached professionals, the one who played Scott is "Ray Stevenson" one who acted in "Thor" movies, one who played lady Scott is "Alison doody" the lead actress from indiana jones....
..
Rrr released in more than 10languages across the world..

3) When ram captures bheem's clan member, he catches a snake n attacks ram even though he is tied, that man catching the snake is justified coz they r gond tribals, they know everything abt every animal, how to trap and catch them, n how to treat animal attacks using natural ayurvedic remedies, since they were born n brought up in jungle along with those animals n plants, that's how even jr NTR is able to tame n control the animals during interval sequence....
That song jr NTR sings while being whipped "komaram bheemudo", few non indian and north indian audience may find the song lil distasteful because they r unaware of the importance of the song, the gond tribe (the telangana people) who faced many tortures under the nijam rule, hv developed a habit of singing folklore songs explaining their pain n oppression for years, these songs kind of made those people stronger n revolt against nijams, similarly at the end of the song people revolt, even now a days these songs r famous in Telangana area, we andhra n telangana people r familiar with such songs, but north indian n non indian audience may not hv any idea abt it, even the song komaram bheemudo was written by one of the famous revolutionary singer from telangana area, if u concentrate on the lyrics of the song we can feel the oppression his people r facing....
4) the subtext or easter egg about the "Barbed whip" that lady scott threw to torture jr NTR is that in the climax when the Scott's empire blows up when lady scott died we can see her body hanging in "Barbed wires" implying that she finally got what she deserved.... "karma is a bitch"🤭🤭🤣
5)near the climax when jr NTR knocks on the floor to find ram who was imprisoned in the ground, he actually knocks the same beats of Nacho Nacho song, so that only ram charan could recognise it's him rather than other possible prisoners, ram charan also reciprocates by knocking the same beat of nacho nacho, even in the earlier scene when ram charam is bit by snake he plays the same beats to communicate with jr NTR, the cinematic brilliance of rajamouli for using a song in so many ways giving easter eggs all the way around is lit🔥🔥🔥 hatsoff to rajamouli 🙏
continued 2 cmnt nxt

I'm sorry I didn't get to watch another reaction guys. Between this and Chernobyl I haven't had an interest in watching the Reactions to those.......
Here's to hoping that the next reaction will be something of interest. Miss seeing them, but have been going back over your older posts to fill the voids. Keep cool if your in this crazy heat, and dry if your getting the rain's. Take Care
Gov Scott's wife is sadistic. Scott's no saint, but she is just beyond.
