Don’t know if anyone posted that already - but fun fact: Vampires didn’t show up in Fotos and mirrors because the mirrors were backed up with silver. And reflex cameras involved mirrors. Silver was believed to be a pure metal that doesn’t interact with evil things. Maybe that’s also why werewolf’s can’t touch it ? I don’t know But nowadays silver isn’t used for that anymore so they might actually show up. Don’t know how modern cameras work lol. But modern mirrors are backed up with aluminum. Also in Ancient Rome it was believed that mirrors reflect the soul not your body. So undead things wouldn’t show up because they don’t have a soul. I personally like the silver believe actually a bit better. ( hopefully my English is understandable- not my native language 😅)
I studied abroad in the town in Italy where they filmed new moon for a couple weeks, and it was really cool because they had pictures of like camera frames where you can see the shops on the walls within the shops! They are very proud of it! Full respect to Kristen Stewart, because when we got to Montepulciano they told us there two directions in town up and down and she ran up that mountain when we could barely walk it within the first week lol
I totally get what you mean when you say Edward comes off as "two-faced" bc he bounces between maturity and immaturity! My take was he was in a fight between his heart and his mind; his heart being a 17 year old boy who's still immature and that's the part of him that loves Bella that much; and his mind having the knowledge and wisdom of a 109 year old man who is mature enough to see how dangerous and impractical them being together is.
@@whitenoisereacts The author made it a point to make it seem like at heart he was still the age he died but just had the knowledge and experience of a 109 year old , probably to fill this exact plot whole🤣
@@bailysyre5392 Yes, exactly vampires keep the maturity/developmental level that they are when they were human. But obviously they can make new experiences/ memories and learn new information. So I think you're absolutely correct in your assessment that his heart and who he was as a human is SO in love with Bella. And we know from the books that Edward had NEVER been in a relationship when he was a vampire and I think as a human as well so Bella was his first love ever and he fell HARD, as vampires in this world do. But his mind logically knows that this is stupid and dangerous.
@@whitenoisereacts vampires are frozen at the age they’re turned. The only time they “change” is when they fall in love/find their mate. Edward’s mate is unfortunately human. His love for her is forever. She’s still human so her feelings can change of course. Besides her being his mate, she’s also his singer which means her blood sings to him…basically her blood appealed to him directly in an extreme way. Another reason he crept in her bedroom to try to get used to her scent so he could be around her more. There are so many things like this throughout the book that can’t possibly be in the movies.
44:15 In books they mention that those people are tourists from around the world. They pick them from many places. In books it was much more horrifying, because a lot of them were terrified and knew they are basically being kidnapped. Heidi's power is allure - they cannot resist her even more than normal vampires. You could not hunt in Voltera - it was in fact the safest place on Earth. That's also why this whole festival was there - Marcus, the depressed one actually is supposed to be the hero who fought off vampires in the city.
Poor Charlie deals with so much shit from this dramatic af teengers......but at the same time I remember being 16 reading these and it's definitely more a sort of...intense passionate vibe and us teens were like YAAAS OMGGG. The sort of immediate scary level of codependence is unhealthy but at least mutual whereas Bella is literally like "no Jacob i don't feel that way about you" and he's like "lol fine I'll wait" like bro no thanks
I absolutely love the detail of Jasper’s eyes at the birthday party. They were gold, and the moment she cuts her finger.. black. Because not only is he feeling his hunger, but his powers cause him to feel the others hunger, as well. People say it doesn’t make sense, but in the books, Jasper has more powers. He was in soldier mode to protect Bella from James. At the party, he was at home/comfortable around Bella. Couldn’t prepare for the sneak attack of hunger. ALSO! In Edward’s POV book, Alice kept having visions of the future.. Edward leaving. How Bells reacts.. He still left. He knew she’d be in her room for months not feeling anything (or feeling everything/overloaded). He was leaving the moment James got to her, but let her be comfy for a while while he family planned. Breaks my heart! Also also.. not werewolves. Movies never touched that like the books did. They’re shapeshifters that only take wolf form. Don’t need a full moon to shift.
So their wolves basically physically reach full maturity when they first start to transform, it's like super puberty. As long as they transform, they live and when they stop transforming they age normally again. (I don't think they stop ageing, I think it just slows down). That's basically how they explained it in the books.
Jacob is such a manipulative petulant child who literally tries to force Bella into being with him when she constantly says she doesn’t feel that way for him. She never loved him but he just keeps forcing himself onto her. Plus most of the bad things in this context as far as Edward goes can be explained by his life and experiences as a vampire but obviously irl there are some red flags. In the books imo at least it’s much more obvious that they’re ‘meant’ to be together especially with how she makes him feel and her acquired skills in the last movie.
I think in the book it's soo much clearer that Bella and Edward connect intellectually... They do have a great bond and discussions that show how well they get along but they've all been cleared out of the movie for watch time reasons. So, yeah it does appear that Bella has a better bond with Jacob because we never see Bella and Edward having a great time together like they do in the books! Also in the books it's very clear that Bella isn't in love with Jacob but sees him as a brother so it gives a whole other perspective on the times he tries to kiss her and take avantage of the fact that she is emotionnally weak because Edward left... Which is fucked up.
she shouldn’t have lead him on either. bella isn’t perfect, she also manipulates him to keep him on the line because she knows he’ll leave (as he should) if she outright rejects him. everyone in this story is horrible and toxic
The size of the wolves in this movie, it reminds me of the dire wolf. Because that prehistoric ancestor of the wolf was much larger than the wolves that we have today.
these movies came out when I was in middle school and I was OBSESSED. watching it back now that i’m older, I obv see a lot of red flags and toxicity in the relationships lol but I still love it. But, the books definitely make it a lot better. There’s soooo many more details and conversations in the book that make their relationships make much more sense. In the movies they seem very rushed so it’s like mmm they’re moving so fast. but the books are so much better
I feel like this movie works because of how everyone else around bella is so normal like her hs friends her dad even the majority of the Cullen and the wolves are all so normal. Makes it easier to swallow the dramatics of Edward and bella
i wont lie i used to love these but now that im older its more comedic and i swear the action and the bit of lore in there, like with the volturi and the wolves and the cullens' backstories is the only interesting thing, everytime the toxic love triangle comes back up im like ugh...😂i cant wait till you see the next one though. Also Bella especially, but all 3 of the main characters are so irritating😂so it seems to make for great reactions. Love seeing your reactions!
@@whitenoisereacts yep, to be honest the lore of these movies are actually pretty cool, if you don't think about the obvious toxic relationship of the main couple 😅
@@crisc1049 it’s such a weird story tbh. Stephanie Meyer creates such an intriguing world with in depth lore and mythology. And then focuses the story around a cringy awkward teen romance. By the last book I was like “can we forget Bella and Edward please? I want to go follow this character’s story.” Even Carlisle would be way more interesting to read a book about his life.
The fact that the Volturi use their powers on each other to keep them complacent in their roles within the Vampire mafia is the most repulsive and disturbing thing I learned about them. And there’s a lot going on with them specifically 😂😂
@@pogofgreed3707 it's been a while but I think I remember that Marcus's power has something to do with sensing relationships between people. And that he had a lover before, and that person died. The thing with vampires is that, they are like, so loyal and devoted to their "mate" and it can really, somehow "destroy" them to the point that they are willing to die to be with them. Just like what happened to edward. Marcus attempted to unalive himself but since he's quite powerful and important in the coven, the Volturi stops him from killing himself by manipulating him and making him loyal to the coven. Basically using their powers to keep him in check. However, the manipulation made him apathetic, which is why he acts that way.
I’ll gladly let you two off at the moment cause you’re new to Twilight but anyone who’s still a Jacob fan by the end of this franchise… please get therapy!
the wolves age slowly. if they shift regularly, they basically don’t age. but they age again when they don’t shift for a long period of time or simply stop.
To explain the Twilight vampire lore; everything you knew about vampires you gotta forget, these sparkle, can eat garlic, are in pictures, have super powers. They are completely different than vampires like Dracula lol (maybe thats why i'm addicted to these movies) 👀 and the shirtless wolf thing: they could change whenever without knowing so if they wore a shirt they would rip ip about 20 shirts a day lol- hence the shirtless wolfs
I could totally relate to Bella's sitting in a chair, staring out the window for months because that was how I felt with my first REAL break up. It didn't last that long, but I locked myself in my room during 100% of my free time and then suddenly (about 5 weeks later) I had cabin fever and had to GET OUT and boom! I was over it and better. So, I related to that pretty well. The movie isn't as clear as the book that Bella is totally just using Jacob as a means to an end (to get her Edward vision fix)
The sitting in a chair while the season change is a reference to pride and prejudice. Specifically the movie with Kiera knightly. These are my guilty pleasure movies. I know they are bad and yet…. I watch them over and over.
Vampires in Twilight all their senses are highly developed so they experience everything very intense and meeting like their partner its mostly life changing for vampires!
Hi there, it's me, the hardcore Twilight fan, when the first movies came out, here to answer some questions... - in the books, Bella is incredibly insecure about her age, the fact that she is clumsy and basically not good enough for Edward, since he is absolutely perfect in her eyes. That's why she is always talking about this. Another reason, why she folded the picture of them, covering herself up and only showing him. - I do not see them as a love triangle at all. Bella made it clear in the books that she loves Jacob as a friend and cares deeply for him, even though she is aware of his feelings for her. Jacob helped her out of the hole she fell in, when Edward left, that's why she goes to extreme measures when she "loses" him to Sam. - I also love the way it looks/ sounds when they pull off the limbs of a vampire, they did a nice job on that. - Like you are, Bella is also a big fan of Carlisle and sees him as pure, since he is so kind and always helping others. - Werewolfes can delay their aging. The more you turn into a wolf, the more you delay. The quileute all have the Wolfgene, but it only activates, when there is a threat by the "cold ones". That's why Jacob turned so late. If the Cullens wouldn't live there, maybe he didn't turn at all. Werewolfs have a higher temperature in general, a shorter temper and the length of their hair determines the length of their fur, that's why all the Wolfes have "shorter" hair. When they are in their Wolfform they are able to communicate through their thoughts and you cannot hide anything. This applies only to the pack you belong to. Also, what the alpha says, goes. That's why Jacob couldn't explain; Sam forbid it. - Edward is not able to project himself, Bella is just seeing him everywhere, because he was so protective of her (never showed lmao). That's why she becomes an adrenaline junkie. - I think I remember her dreams are mostly wondering through the woods in search of Edward/ the Cullens, which is a hopeless situation. Not her aging anymore, since now she has "bigger" problems. - I hate that Laurent was brought back like this, he was on his way to become a vegetarian and doing really good. Will be explained in the last few movies. - Victoria was always a red head! In the first movie, it was kind of covered up with the blue filter. They dyed it an even brighter shade of red in the third one. - Alice is not able to see Wolfs in her visions. It's nature's protection of their kind. That's why she didn't see Victoria coming back or Jacob rescuing Bella from the Sea. In her visions, Bella died. That's why Edward called and when Jacob talked about the funeral of the Hunter (Harry), he immediately believed it was Bella's. - The Volturi (Mafia of the Vampires) like to keep everyone in check and add vampires with special skills to their clan. They desperately want Alice to protect themselves from attacks of their enemies. Also, Jane is portrayed by Dakota Fanning and in the books she is described to be a 12/13 year old sadistic girl. Excited to see the next movies with you ☺️
i hope you guys do the rest of the movies! im having so much fun watching your reactions and honestly things havent even gotten off the rails that much yet 👀i have a feeling you would enjoy the next ones
7:26 Love how there are people who are like "That's the dude from Stranger Things!" when the rest of us probably recognized him from Twilight or Sweeney Todd when we saw him in Stranger Things.
“WE LOVE JACOB”… oh no no no! Him going over the line in this movie was bad enough but a certain thing he does to Bella in the next film (which hopefully gets talked about) and the OTHER thing (😳) he does in the last film is beyond not okay. Hopefully your love for him doesn’t last long! 😅
This story is actually my second most-hated one of the entire series, because it's absolutely nothing but romanticizing people trying to kill themselves. Edward talks about suicide multiple times and attempts it, and Bella literally tries to kill herself just to hear Edward's voice, and all of it is painted as romantic and it's just really not a good message for anyone, especially teens. That being said, I really loved watching you guys react to it and I hope you react to all of them because I SO want to see the reactions to the most contested (and, in my opinion, the most disgusting and disturbing) plot point in the entire series in the final two movies.
Oh man... This is bringing back memories of reading New Moon when I was about 14-ish. I get it you guys but the New Moon book turned me into a reluctant (temporary) member of ‘Team Edward’… Used to go to bed reading it then I’d be in a grey mood the whole next day at school. Bella’s full on breakdown and depression when Edward leaves was rough for me to read at the time, and I ended up willing Edward Creepy Vibes Cullen to come back just so she’d cheer up. so if that’s what Stephanie was aiming for… well done Stephanie? 😅 low-key I might actually read the books now, I’m kinda curious what I’ll think years later.
LOL, these have been hilarious. It also makes me really want to see you guys react to Interview with the Vampire (1994) to see how the "old generation" did vampires. Stephenie Meyer and Anne Rice are absolutely nothing alike, but they each defined their own eras, no doubt. I think it'd be a fun comparison!
Victoria was a redhead before but it was a MUCH lighter shade, more like a strawberry blonde. Not sure why they changed actresses. But it might help to know that she was definitely a redhead in the books. Come to think of it, that my be why they changed actresses. Maybe the first one didn't want to put more red in her hair than she already had. :)
Definitely my favorite one of the series!!! When Bella gets into that deep depression for the months she did, that was comical, epic & sad at the same time 🧛♀️🧛♀️🧛♀️🧛♀️🧛♀️🧛♀️
Vampires used to not show up in mirrors because mirrors in the old days were made with silver, which people believed to be a "pure" metal to repel demons. Now Mirrors don't have silver in them. Digital and disposable cameras don't use silver in photo development, so Edward and vampires would show up in photos.

your reactions to these two movies have been so fun, I'm definitely voting for you to watch them all! The third movie is the best plot wise, and the last two have some crazy and cool stuff going on that I think you'd enjoy watching!
I am so glad that everyone who reacts to these movies can all admit that Charlie is the best character 🤣
Hayley: "did he cut his hair?"
Stella :"no tragically no "😂👍
😂😂
Twilight wolves stop aging as long as they are phasing, once they stop phasing they begin to age.
Don’t know if anyone posted that already - but fun fact:
Vampires didn’t show up in Fotos and mirrors because the mirrors were backed up with silver. And reflex cameras involved mirrors. Silver was believed to be a pure metal that doesn’t interact with evil things. Maybe that’s also why werewolf’s can’t touch it ? I don’t know
But nowadays silver isn’t used for that anymore so they might actually show up.
I didn't know this. So interesting!
His heart? What does that mean tho? It’s either all 109 or not right? Having the heart, physically, doesn’t effect anything
Damn, thats some dark irony right there
I’m so happy you’re doing this, please finish the saga!!!
I don’t think you can compare. They are both bad lol
@@whitenoisereacts I mean...fair point.
Don’t need a full moon to shift.
bella has an anxious precocuppied/codependent attachment style, and edward and jacob are both fearful avoidant. The perfect toxic relationship.
You'll have to give them time, it's only the second movie. We'll see what they think when they watch the later movies
That’s true!!!
hahaha ''it's like jumping off a cliff and being like: here save me!'' I am wheezing 😂 what a good call James
hayley and stella are such great additions to the white noise fam!!
these movies came out when I was in middle school and I was OBSESSED. watching it back now that i’m older, I obv see a lot of red flags and toxicity in the relationships lol but I still love it. But, the books definitely make it a lot better. There’s soooo many more details and conversations in the book that make their relationships make much more sense. In the movies they seem very rushed so it’s like mmm they’re moving so fast. but the books are so much better
16:58 "That's like jumping off a cliff and being like 'Oh, he'll save me'."
Hehe, funny you should mention that 😅😅
😂😂
That circling shot showing depression is so on point for how it feels, they got that right!
The comedy is pretty sick tho
The werewolves here are inmortal as long as they keep turning into wolves. If they stop doing it, they age like any human.
Oh nice ok!!!
@@fightingfaerie literally everyone except bella and Edward has an interesting backstory. Alice...Carlisle... Rosalie...Leah... God, even Emmett.
They're actually more like wolf shape shifters than werewolves as it's hereditary, not an infection that can be passed on as with true werewolves.
The fact that the Volturi use their powers on each other to keep them complacent in their roles within the Vampire mafia is the most repulsive and disturbing thing I learned about them. And there’s a lot going on with them specifically 😂😂
I noticed the one Volturi seems miserable.
@@w1975b ah yes Marcus, there is a story behind that
@@w1975b Marcus and yes, its very sad
@@SamanthaGonzalez-vm3lk Explain? What’s his power and the blond dude’s?
Ninetailedbrush: "i'm Nobu"
me, dramatically gasping: "THE HAND???"
😂😂
You absolutely have to finish the entire saga, I'm so looking forward to seeing you guys react to the last 2 films!
the wolves age slowly. if they shift regularly, they basically don’t age. but they age again when they don’t shift for a long period of time or simply stop.
Absolutely loving this reactions in group!!! Please keep them coming! 💗
Will do!!!
"Schindler's List, and then Twilight" is not something I ever thought I'd hear, but I'm so glad I did.
Edward is not projecting himself. It’s Bella’s mind that brings him forward.
Waaaaaay waaaaay better this time! Thank you for giving us the reaction we have come to expect and enjoy from this channel! 😁
Our pleasure! Please bear with us as we learn to do things with more people
Oh yeah.. the classic: Bella, where the hell have you been, loca?
To explain the Twilight vampire lore; everything you knew about vampires you gotta forget, these sparkle, can eat garlic, are in pictures, have super powers. They are completely different than vampires like Dracula lol (maybe thats why i'm addicted to these movies) 👀 and the shirtless wolf thing: they could change whenever without knowing so if they wore a shirt they would rip ip about 20 shirts a day lol- hence the shirtless wolfs
Fun fact, in the movie when they skip between those 4 months, there's literally 4 pages in the book marked for those months.
I'm enjoying the dynamic w/the 4 of you. I like that you're not taking the movie too seriously. Love your reactions.
You guys would LOVE the twilight parody vampires suck a lot of the jokes you made line up with it lmfao
Oh cool
Excited to see the next movies with you ☺️
Totally agree with you guys. I like how thoughtful they are at crafting the scenes. It’s the only one in the franchise that I rewatch.
i hope you guys do the rest of the movies! im having so much fun watching your reactions and honestly things havent even gotten off the rails that much yet 👀i have a feeling you would enjoy the next ones
7:26 Love how there are people who are like "That's the dude from Stranger Things!" when the rest of us probably recognized him from Twilight or Sweeney Todd when we saw him in Stranger Things.
Oh shoot!!! That’s him in Sweeney Todd?
please please please keep reacting to this saga i LIVE for it
You guys now have a moral obligation to watch the entire saga!
I just remembered you guys are going to the third movie... God bless you guys
The four of you remind me of Bella’s friends !! Lolll
To me that's a compliment
Seriously that kind of pain she would feel, yeah, dropping down in the woods just can't move is very realistic of that kind of grief. I do like that x
When they couldn’t hurt Bella “I am already in so much pain” 😂💀
Well it’s true
The one time she meets Victoria she has red hair at the baseball game guys
If I was Charlie and heard her scream like that, I'd have thought something more, something worse, happened in those woods than him just leaving her
“WE LOVE JACOB”… oh no no no! Him going over the line in this movie was bad enough but a certain thing he does to Bella in the next film (which hopefully gets talked about) and the OTHER thing (😳) he does in the last film is beyond not okay. Hopefully your love for him doesn’t last long! 😅
They had to to make Edward seem better😂
@@alarrim29574 This, they ruined him to make Edward and Bella endgame.
After reading this comment I don’t feel like to continue anymore
This story is actually my second most-hated one of the entire series, because it's absolutely nothing but romanticizing people trying to kill themselves. Edward talks about suicide multiple times and attempts it, and Bella literally tries to kill herself just to hear Edward's voice, and all of it is painted as romantic and it's just really not a good message for anyone, especially teens. That being said, I really loved watching you guys react to it and I hope you react to all of them because I SO want to see the reactions to the most contested (and, in my opinion, the most disgusting and disturbing) plot point in the entire series in the final two movies.
"now we pissed of the vampire mafia"🤣🤣🤣🤣 LOL
Oh to be seen this for the first time..😂 Your reactions are so funny 😂
Ohhhh ok!!
Definitely my favorite one of the series!!! When Bella gets into that deep depression for the months she did, that was comical, epic & sad at the same time 🧛♀️🧛♀️🧛♀️🧛♀️🧛♀️🧛♀️
Teenage memories unlocked...great reaction guys
“Dating a Wearwolf is better than 109 aged man”
Well jokes on you because if a wearwolf shape shifts often they age less/stop growing😂😂
But he’s still not that yet!!! Lol
Vampires used to not show up in mirrors because mirrors in the old days were made with silver, which people believed to be a "pure" metal to repel demons. Now Mirrors don't have silver in them. Digital and disposable cameras don't use silver in photo development, so Edward and vampires would show up in photos.
This is a guilty pleasure fave for me! Def keep watching.
Mirrorless cameras do exist, so vampires can be in photos but it depens on the camera that is used to take the picture.
That was my point
More twilight reactions pleaseeee
Victoria has always been a red head.... what....? ahahaha! Its a lot darker now, but it was always red...
u guys were awsomeee hhhh plz continue the whole thing 😁..it will get even better
I always wondered why Edward’s reflection didn’t show up in mirrors but James’ reflection did in the first movie at the ballet studio ..
this is my favv twilight movie. the color grading and soundtrack is unmatched
