I am sorry but, There is not a singer today that even comes close to the presence, voice, or talent like ann and Nancy Wilson, and that is a fact!! They ROCK!!!!!!
No one can even come close to touching Heart. They command a stage presence without lasers, lights, explosions, nothing. Just her voice, and the rocking of the music. No band can claim to do the same.
These 60 years old grandmas still rock-n-roll with the guitars. Imagine that! Love Nancy and the acoustic riffs. They were hot chicks back then, man how time flies.
I love Annie, she is always singing about dreams all the time "I was a willow last night in my dreams" "These dreams go on when I close my eyes" "funny how in dreams your feet never touch the earth" Annie your a dreamboat. LOVE YA!!!!
Ann and Nancy are iconic!! Other women in music get credit that is deserved but I fear that these two women won't get the true recognition they deserve and how they influenced music until they pass on. Sadly that also goes for Pat Benatar and many more
great performance just great.....Her voice is like NO OTHERS....and...her Sis on the guitar, the movements, and just the way she plays, is GREAT....What a duo, they are STILL the BEST
Ann in the 70's was a rock goddess of paralyzing beauty with a voice that could rip your heart out. Sure, she's gained some weight, but now she is a woman with a voice that can pin you against a wall, and make you forget your own name... And Nancy, well Nancy is and always has been incredible.. I know these girls did a lot of great work in the 70's and 80's, and continue to make great music... but this song is their masterpiece. Ann and Nancy are immortal
This is the version of Crazy on You that Heart has been performing live for a while now. It showcases the power and beauty of Ann's voice and the great guitar playing of Nancy. Simply the best sister team in Rock history ever.
Its so beautiful that these two mega talented sisters are still rocking out together and sharing their talents with us still!! Thank you so much Ann and Nancy Wilson!!!! Ann and Nancy Wilson are Heart they just proved it with this video. They didnt need anyone else. Thank you Aspirdione for uploading and sharing!
A beautiful rendition. It's a nice way to clearly hear Nancy's rhythm guitar part on this tune, which I just love. No need to comment on Ann - it's all been said before. Superb.
Ann's voice is as crystal clear and beautiful as it was three decades ago. How many times do you think they have performed this song over the years? I don't blame them for switching it up. Fabulous!!
amazing... been a major fan since '76, and after seeing heart perform this song in many arena concerts, full on blown out, this unplugged version, without a doubt, has got to be THE best version of them all. ann, u got my heart this time girl...BRAVO!
Two of My greatest inspirations no stopping them they are a force beyond them selves talent, not to be found again beautiful ladies blessed by the hand of God him self!!!!!
Ladies and gentlemen, the one and only Ann Wilson! And for those who never thought much of Nancy Wilson as a guitarist, well, there goes your opinion. Through the window I mean.
The Wilson Sisters went to high school with one of my mom's friends in Seattle and I got to enjoy them live at his birthday back in the 80's. Nancy Wilson was my first celebrity crush! I'm so glad they still sound amazing!
WOW what a knock out voice! I had no idea. She sounds better now than she ever did. That's time+talent. That is the mark of a true star. Nothing else in the world could or does matter.
These woman are amazingly talented and are respected by musicians and rock fans world wide. Everyone changes as they get older but that doesn't change how great Heart is, Ann is one of the best woman vocalists of our time, and Nancy is a very good guitarist, both are great songwriters and performers. I give them as much respect as any other great rock band - male or female.
You have that right!! So Good It Makes you Cry....... One of the Best Bands I have ever seen in Concert was Heart... I seen hundreds of bands From Britney Spears to Judas Priest
Ann's voice is truly incredible, she can change from performance to performance and finds different ways of approaching her voice depending on the night, this is an outstanding performance of a classic rocker
I agree with you wcbombers21, she is simply amazing, and absolutely no one from any era, comes close. I have been lucky enough to have "Heart's" music in my life, since they came to the fore. Thanks to You Tube I can sit here on a Friday night in Sydney Australia, having my own personal concert.
She became a better [live]singer over the years. Remember buying 'dreamboat annie' in '76 and loved it, especially the cover with the natural beauty of the 2 young girls Ann&Nancy.
Thanx for posting this! And as for any posts about Ann's weight, Chris Cornell was quoted abouted that sub "No one ever said Arethea couldn't sing after gaining weight!" The Wilson sisters use their voices/musical talent to get them ahead; not the bod. That's why they are loved and considered true artists.
On this tour it segued into Dreamboat Annie. This arrangement of COY was written for the Lovemongers to get away from the "Heart sound". Heart started doing it on the tour that Nancy sat out because of her pregnancy. They kept it around for another year or so before slowly morphing back to the original which they do on the tour now (complete with intro). This isn't my favorite arrangement of the song, but I guess when you've done a song at every show for over 30 years, you've gotta mix it up.
I agree with claimguy, Anne is and always be to me the best female rock singer ever !! And I noticed too she's problems with keep on shape... that's her choice, what people need (fans) is a good performance and she did an awesome one here. Congrats to Nancy, she plays great the guitar... as always. I want Heart DVD's too !!
Saw Them On Their Acoustic Tour in Orlando! Nancy Said “People Thought We Couldn’t Do It Acoustically! We Proved Everyone Wrong, But I Have To Break A Lot Of My Guitar Strings Doing It “! 🤣
Looks don't matter a damn! THE MUSIC IS WHAT COUNTS. Heart's music has always stood the test of time - because It's well written and performed. It matters not that this version of "Crazy On You" differs from the 'norm' version, because it gives us all something else they've offered for us to appreciate. That is why Heart will always endure as a band - they are just timeless, proffessionals who love to play and sing. They are not a "GLAM" charade band - they are the "REAL DEAL".
To the contrary, I believe it exudes a different type of energy. What it looses in breadth it gains in depth. IMHO, one seal of authenticity for any musician is: can you grab a mic and a naked instrument (acoustic, piano, harmonica, etc.) and entertain? Jewel, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, and Jon Bon Jovi come to mind.
In a "top 20 acoustic guitar intros of all time" The OP (an excellent guitarist, BTW) wouldn't even attempt to duplicate Nancy's performance. He played a video of her doing it.
GAWDAMN thats nice! Now don't take this the wrong way ladies, but.... Ann Wilson is the only woman I have ever heard singin rock where I didn't ONCE think - Hey that's a chick singin a heavy song. Some of it is that Heart played music suited to her prodigious talent, but there is just so much in those pipes She is and always will be the greatest female rock voice.
Heart has always done cover songs in their concerts..used to be alot of led Zep...maybe it still is...havent seen them in years so im not sure...just their way of paying tribute to those who influenced them...and listen to some of their Zep covers...goddamn brilliant
I am sorry but, There is not a singer today that even comes close to the presence, voice, or talent like ann and Nancy Wilson, and that is a fact!! They ROCK!!!!!!
the best female rocker of all time...the others paved the way just for her
i really dont believe there is anyone on the planet that can sing like Ann wilson. I mean comon.... she,s that special.
Wow! That is the best version of that I've ever heard! Goosebumps.
saw them in front row back in the day nancy threw me a rose never forget that was one awesome concert
No one can even come close to touching Heart. They command a stage presence without lasers, lights, explosions, nothing. Just her voice, and the rocking of the music. No band can claim to do the same.
Ann Wilson is one of the greatest voices in rock and roll, PERIOD!!! None of the guys (even her idol Robert Plant) can't fuck with her.
These 60 years old grandmas still rock-n-roll with the guitars. Imagine that!
Love Nancy and the acoustic riffs.
They were hot chicks back then, man how time flies.
Man, her vocal control is still absolutely perfect even with the power she puts out, and even with her getting up in the years.
Dang, Ann's voice and Nancy's percussive guitar playing...heaven!
This version shows how hard Nancy has been working in the background during this song since 1970! I always wanted to hear her part isolated.
I love Annie, she is always singing about dreams all the time "I was a willow last night in my dreams" "These dreams go on when I close my eyes" "funny how in dreams your feet never touch the earth" Annie your a dreamboat. LOVE YA!!!!
Ann is like a fine wine... only gets better with age...thanks for all the years of great music ann and nancy...we love you.
Ann Wilson's voice is souful heart felt emotion it's talent in the utmost form! She is in my personal opinion the very best female vocalist ever!
Ann Wilson was born in 1950. Weight problem or not she is an incredible singer and she looks damn good for 61 years old.
Two very talented women! True Icons! Have made their mark with thier gift of music.
I love this acoustic version!
The first Ann a cappella part gives me goosebumps!
Ann's voice is absolutely perfect .Nancy's guitar playing is as fabulous
GODDAMN!!!! Can She SING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!

Ann...what a voice...Nancy, what fingers! You girls rock! Always have and always will ;)
Their version of 'Stairway to Heaven' at the Kennedy Honors in tribute to Led Zeppelin was beyond awesome! ♥ ♥ : ♥ ♥
Ann in the 70's was a rock goddess of paralyzing beauty with a voice that could rip your heart out.
Sure, she's gained some weight, but now she is a woman with a voice that can pin you against a wall, and make you forget your own name...

I know these girls did a lot of great work in the 70's and 80's, and continue to make great music... but this song is their masterpiece.
Ann and Nancy are immortal
Why bring her weight in the middle of a comment about her voice?
This is the version of Crazy on You that Heart has been performing live for a while now. It showcases the power and beauty of Ann's voice and the great guitar playing of Nancy. Simply the best sister team in Rock history ever.

Those girls still got it! Anne's voice is just as awesome and powerful as ever. Heart will never die!!!!
Ann's voice is as crystal clear and beautiful as it was three decades ago.
How many times do you think they have performed this song over the years? I don't blame them for switching it up. Fabulous!!
You ladies rock! Still have it after all these years. Dreamboat Annie was my first album. Loved you then. Love you now!
amazing... been a major fan since '76, and after seeing heart perform this song in many arena concerts, full on blown out, this unplugged version, without a doubt, has got to be THE best version of them all. ann, u got my heart this time girl...BRAVO!

The Wilson Sisters went to high school with one of my mom's friends in Seattle and I got to enjoy them live at his birthday back in the 80's. Nancy Wilson was my first celebrity crush!
I'm so glad they still sound amazing!

That lady should still be in the spotlight. Awsome vocal talent. And the other one is pretty good at guitar too!
I love to play it this way....wish I had Ann to sing for me!!
Amazing riff

I agree with claimguy, Anne is and always be to me the best female rock singer ever !! And I noticed too she's problems with keep on shape... that's her choice, what people need (fans) is a good performance and she did an awesome one here. Congrats to Nancy, she plays great the guitar... as always.

That Voice!
She makes me think of Janis Joplin... Her voice is awesome!!!
Janis couldn't hold a candle to her.
brilliant perfection!
In a "top 20 acoustic guitar intros of all time" The OP (an excellent guitarist, BTW) wouldn't even attempt to duplicate Nancy's performance. He played a video of her doing it.
