I paid $1.25 for the juicer and sold it for $125 or $150. The lady that bought it did a review and said she used it right away and loves it.

I have some stuff to add:
    -Starbucks Barista espresso machine parts.
    -Old magazines.
-if you find a Griswold that needs cleaning up-use oven cleaner. There’s great how-to videos here! I’ve brought rusty ones back to life!
-and not just perfume bottles, but any of those milk glass cream jars and metal powder shake tins, amongst other stuff really are sought after too. Maybe not HUGE money makers. But they’ll sell!!

Our thrift store was given a 1950s Grundig console stereo a few years ago by an elderly couple who had purchased a hutch from us, and wanted to make space in their dining room for their new purchase. After getting the solid state, mid-century unit back to our store, we discovered that the turntable was not working, so one of our volunteers who knew a thing or two about old record players, worked on it for a day and got it to work.
I knew about Grundig consoles, because my father purchased one in the 1960s when they were living in Europe. They’re made in Germany.
The unit sold for $500.00, but could probably have sold for much more.
Now this unit and units like it would probably be difficult to sell online due to their size, but the smaller table-top units could probably be shipped with some care to prevent damage.

Dang not a bad come up on that $8 blender. I've been flipping so long it's hard to think of my personal best but recently I picked up 3 rare 1oz silver bars for $32ea and sold one on eBay for $399. A couple years ago I picked up a rare 1oz silver bar for $18 and sold it within a week for $800 on eBay. That might be my personal best. That's what I specialize in, vintage silver/gold bullion, coins, sterling jewelry, etc...so I go to coin shops and coin shows but watching all you guys recently I went to 2 garage sales today. Haven't been in years. 1 was a bust but I got a Daiwa saltwater fishing reel for $10 and there's none listed at the moment but 7 sold comps for $50-$100 in used condition. Score. 💪🏻

That was such a great video..you have been good for a while now, but Josh you are getting really good! Not only at reselling but as a RUclips creater. Im looking forward to see exactly where this journey leads you! I never really comment or anything on your videos bc i know how tedious it can be answering them! But great work Josh!!

That is crazy on a track ball mouse. We have one and my 3 yr prefers it over a regular mouse.

That track ball GAMER mouse is an exception. Other than flight simulator yokes and pedals which get insane prices, most non gamer mice are just junk. Also BOL for gamer keyboards.

Researching categories you're unfamiliar with is a great way to expand your reselling knowledge! Mario Kart and Super Mario brother for Nintendo Wii are great sellers for me Silent Hill and Manhunt titles are worth money for Playstation 2

Some other things I would add on to this list would be some specific beach body dvds like p90x, overhead kitchen radios, and some older sealed film

    • @spacegamer85
      @spacegamer85 3 года назад

DO NOT (caps intentional) try to sell Beach Body videos on ebay unless you are licensed to sell them. They are a guaranteed VERO strike and can lead to account suspension. Not worth it in my opinion. if you have sold them in the past and not been warned, consider yourself lucky.

Griswold #4, #13 and #20 are the rarest most collectable. Also, watch for the Erie Spider. They were only produced for one year and they can sell for $10-15,000.

As a 16 year old who's played ncca football games his whole life... That game has a lot of sentimental value to us... As time goes on without the making of this game we miss it more and more.. most likely causing the increase of price..it's not that rare really I myself have a copy.. it just has a ton of sentimental value to us all you know.

We had a dope league on NCAA 14. Still friends with some of the people to this day. The rarity has increased because of the ongoing controversy with not paying players. On that game they used real players. They couldn't use their names, but you could definitely tell it was them. If I remember correctly you could even add the real names.

I started doing eBay about a month ago as a PT job for this summer (I’m a teacher). I had so much stuff around my house from 20 years of marriage and a son who played baseball and football. I probably have a few months worth of inventory lol.
But I found an old game case in my attic full of my wife’s old Super Nintendo games from when she was a kid. I sold Super Mario All Stars for $40. Tetris Attack for $15. Donkey Kong Country 2 for $25 and have many more. I also found an old copy of NCAA 14 that I sold for $125. Almost all of these went the first 1-2 days after posting.

I’m loving your RUclips channel and the effort you put into it for free content for us! Thank you!!! I had a funny thing happen to me during my beginning voyage into the reselling/flipping market. I had purchased some Scentsy items in bulk from a garage sale and the lady had known my FB from a comment I had left asking if the items were still available at the sale. She confirmed. I payed for the items for the price negotiated. A fair sale. A week later I posted one of the Scentsy burners on market place with a couple wax bars for a higher price than I bought it for, (not by much, irregardless) and she attempted to “blast” me on marketplace for selling the item for the price I desired to sell it for which was an according value to the item. Nothing outrageous whatsoever. She basically got angry that I was utilizing the FREE MARKET! Anyone ever have issues with this? Anyone question your intentions when hitting the thrift store and buying a lot of stuff? Would love some open convo. I respectfully private messaged her and put her in her place. That our sale was negotiated, and complete. And what I chose to do with the items was out of her control.

Yes some people just don’t like resellers, I coupon a lot and a lot of the heavier stuff like laundry detergent I sell on Facebook and I have had people make snide comments about it, just shrug it off and move on, it’s just jealousy

    • @markschreiner8886

It's always seemed crazy to me how people can go to walmart and spend money freely but expect me to sell for the same price or less than what I paid. It's not their fault though, we are all programmed young with that 9to5 workers mentality that demonizes the rich, successful, or anyone thinking outside the box, inhibiting our ability to learn from them and keeping ourselves stuck at the same level

    • @markschreiner8886

Keep your head up and keep getting this money! At the end of the day if you needed to make a thousand dollars by tomorrow theoretically You could list like a crazy person and make it happen. They can't. If i was them I would be mad too! Lol
