- See what I'm selling monthly to make a full-time living on eBay. I buy all this stuff from places like Goodwill, thrift stores, and garage sales. Rummage sales and locally, like Facebook Marketplace, are also great sources to find stuff to flip on EBAY. In this video I have over 80 things to look for that will sell on eBay and I have sold on eBay. Fast selling items on eBay are great, but sometimes you have to wait months or even years on items to sell, so make sure you are picking yard sales for cheap items, with low competition, and that have a higher chance of selling because they are in demand.

I'm Wick and I am a reseller for a living. I find things at garage sales, thrift stores, and even clearance at retail stores to sell. I do online arbitrage, retail arbitrage, and buy locally. While the majority of my business is done through Amazon FBA, I also sell on eBay or anywhere else I can flip the junk that I find.
I also trade stocks and futures, do affiliate marketing, and Merch by Amazon to make money online. My goal is to live a free life away from the typical 9-5 job.

Q: What Apps do you use to sell online (eBay and Amazon)?
A: I search the eBay sold and completed listings to get an idea of what products are selling for. I use the Amazon Seller App to scan for FBA.
Q: Can you make a living selling online?
A: Yes, the difficulty is based on how much effort you put in and how much you need to make each month. I do this full time.
Q: Where do you find your clearance products to resell?
A: Literally everywhere. Check end caps and look for clearance aisles, but mostly it will be mixed in. Ask a manager if there's any good clearance deals and build a relationship if possible.
Q: Do you make a full-time living selling online?
A: I do. All my bills are covered, I'm able to save a good amount, and put money back into the business. I also do other things to make money, but reselling is the meat. It takes a lot of work and dedication to make a full-time living reselling.

@@tripmastermonkee it was a Serato mixer. What made it valuable was that if you owned it, you automatically got a subscription to their service which transferred with ownership. As long as you own one you got use of their service. I scored this about 8 years ago.

The "touch an item and it will sell" thing was a subject of conversation with a fellow reseller like 2 years ago. Law of attraction? Crazy indeed!
I sometimes find something or touch something in my boxes and say I don’t know why I ever bought this. It’ll never sell. And then it sells the next day!

Not really. He knows what to sell which is very specific skill here.
I look for coffee cups with intellectual properties. I can usually profit $2-$5 each.

Great content Wick been watching your videos for a long time Lol usually to get my items that have been listed for awhile I just think about or I see how long the item has been listed make a note of the item and then for some reason the item sales that day or the next couple of days LOL just crazy how it works out

I have not experienced just touching something that hasn't sold and suddenly having someone buy it. I have many times experienced having had something sit for months or even a year or two, then suddenly sold one and then two or more in the same day or couple of days, and always to different people in different parts of the country. Maybe I had something that someone else was selling a lot of, and then they ran out? I dunno.

15:30 I have to echo this sentiment. I found a full size Howard Miller mantle clock at the SALVO for $7 recently. The comps were insane (500-1000 range) so we took it home expeditiously . But once I got it home and gave it a once over, I was sorta surprised at how shoddy the build quality was. I’m no clock expert, so I assumed if this is a luxury item then this one’s gotta be a fake. Too scared to list it so I just gave it away. Good to know I wasn’t alone in noticing this.

I have been a part time picker, full time teacher for 30 plus years…. I can tell you that touching items that have been in inventory for a while does make them sell… I don’t know what it is about touching things but it 100 percent works… I was just downstairs packing a item to go out, I touched a item and thought that has been around awhile… I put the top on the storage container and finished my packing… I came up stairs and had dinner and put on your video… As I am watching this I hear that amazing eBay cash register sound… Yep, you guessed it, the item that I touched had just sold…

I touch my inventory every day (most of my stuff has been sitting for over a year) and nothing ever sells.

Ebay is so confusing. Some of your items like the Braun shaver and Fluval. When I look those up on ebay, they're a lot cheaper than what you sold for. These were in the box too. How do you know the value of such items? Just starting on on fb marketplace, and can't figure out pricing. Thank you for the video, and your help!

Had a bid on an auction item that didn’t have a bin location, so I had to go through every bin and box to find it. My mom helped out, and oddly enough I started selling old items out of all the bins and boxes she had touched.

UK watcher here, it is actually crazy how different the resell market is in America. No one is spending $45 dollars on a braun razor in the UK. I actually thought that prices would be lower due to a bigger population but it seems like it is the reverse.

When I had a retail store, a friend who was a clerk in another store, swore by that practice: move or touch an item and it will sell within a day. Personally, I only had minimal success with that. But it always felt remarkable when it worked!

I'm full-time. I only offer free shipping on certain items. Typically smaller items under one pound, or items I can work shipping in the price easily that fit in flat-rate mailers etc

As a reseller there's alot of items that make you scratch your head or cringe. Im more so shocked that people actually wear those. I feel like I've sold them a bunch of times but I never see anyone walking around with them on.

its true, touch it or move it, i make a joke at work that when I touch something on the shelves that moves slow, ill sell one that day. Its called "everything i touch turns to gold" it is crazy but it is also real. its something you cant put on paper so retailers dont pay attention to it.

You don't really know if they will work. It's a risk in most cases. Some Goodwills will take returns. I fully test them or they will more than likely be returned or people won't buy from you.

Yes, everything is fully tested.
Do have two of everything you sell? I'm confused. First time watching. Are you just filming before you ship? Did you sell all that in one day? It seems like it as you're wearing the same shirt when showing all these items. If so That's awesome.
I just record a clip before I ship the item and then edit them all together. It's sales from about a couple weeks to a month.

Yes
I just don't know where people are finding this amazing things for so cheap. I go to garage sales, thrift stores, estate sales, you name it, and anything of any value is tagged with the highest possible value. People aren't selling their junk for a quarter or a dollar anywhere near me. Everyone looks up the price of everything online and tries to get every cent out of it, even at a a yard sale. I went out this weekend and I'd say 95% of things I saw worth anything were marked within 10% of the top items on ebay. And the few things I do manage to find that are really valuable do not move fast.
You can do a lot of different things. One store I go to does clearances kind of weird. If it's been in clearance for a while, it goes into a different category, and whatever it is, it's 2.00. I picked up 23 big funko pops worth 40 a piece this way.
@@BUBBYWAN Yeah, I haven't stumbled on anything like that yet. As of now whenever I do find something that is undervalued that I can get for cheap it doesn't sell. For example I picked up a dozen vintage pennants from a defunct brewery for a buck a piece but they aren't an item that moves. Most of my inventory seems to be stuff like that because things that sell I can't find good deals on.

How do you ship your VCRs? The first one i shipped arrived broken. The buyer said it was packaged well, but evidently, not well enough
Big bubble bubble wrap, packed tightly in a box so it can't move around. I usually give options for USPS and FedEx shipping. Buyers farther will usually choose FedEx.

When looking at items at yard sales, etc. what’s the quickest/best way to check the value on the fly?
Depends on the item, but probably just look it up on eBay and filter by sold and completed listings. Then compare the average sold price with how many are listed vs how many sold.
Just remember you have to tell the irs anytime you make profit and these videos are proof so just be careful.
eBay reports all my sales to the IRS, so I'm already paying taxes on everything...

Like if all these are being sold in America then yeah that surprises me that you're getting basically top dollar out of all but just reselling it on eBay. I'm sure a lot of things set for a long time, but if you have a good inventory going, that's no big deal
