Hi Dr Anderson, could you say something about glutathione being sold for skin whitening. I have seen an injectable form sold solely for this purpose. This is not how I see the value of glutathione, and wonder, does it lead to changes in skin colour, and if so, how? Does this effect take place whether you are seeking it or not? Does this alter the skin's susceptibility to UVB light and vitamin D production? I am very intrigued by this sales pitch. Does it depigment tissues other than skin and if so, does it lighten hair? As I said, these are I.M. or I.V. injections, which is a white clumpy powder in a 10ml glass vial, presumably injection safe saline or just sterile water, must be added to dissolve the powder prior to injection. I'm interested in this product, but it's written in a language I can't read. Maybe Japanese but maybe Malaysian. Not sure. They look genuine, just never heard about the skin whitening effects from the functional medicine community. Comments please Dr A or anyone. Thanks in advance.

Absorption is not the issue with oral GSH, it is the fact that when it gets digested it gets broken down into its three component amino acid parts, thereby not remaining in the form of GSH. That is why many are opposed to oral GSH, it is a waist of money, you end up really just taking glutamine, glycine, and cysteine, not the GSH molecule. Better to have your body make it, using precursors like NAC.

On a regular basis, it is always better to take GlyNac rather than pure glutathione.

I have read many books, I listened to many RUclips videos by many of the world's leading gurus and health experts but nothing came close to “the hidden herbs” by anette ray. I recommend everyone giving it a read.

FYI Dr. precursor for Glutathion is not Glutamin, it's Glutamate, used by Glutamate-cysteine ligase, so do not mislead people. And I thing you should mention the enzymes producing the GSH along with Nrf2 involvement. Otherwise video not too bad.

Hi, when I googled the phrase "precursor for Glutathion", results seemed of a consensus that Glutamine is a precursor for Glutathion?

One Dr. says one thing, and another Dr says something completely contradictory. So much miss and disinformation it's ridiculous.

PLEASE fix your video. The first one goes 14 seconds then stops in the middle and second video starts. It doesn't look good.

For everyone reading this, finding the banned book called “the hidden herbs” by anette ray should be your top priority
