In this video, I show you how to enable FCC mode on your DJI FPV drone in a few simple clicks. I also show you how to do it using your mobile phone. Great for when you're in the field.

Outside the US and SRRC, the DJI FPV Drone is restricted to 25mw or 14dbm in the 5.8 ghz band and 100mw or 20dbm in the 2.4 band.
Our software sends an unlock code to your DJI FPV Drone which unlocks the full 31.5 dbm 1412mw in 5.8ghz & 2.4ghz bands.

This mod allows you to change from CE mode (25w) to FCC mode (1400w max). If you've ever flown an FPV drone with a 25w VTX and then with a drone with a 1w or more, you'll know that it makes a HUGE difference in how far you can fly and still have video feed.

the b3yond website is no longer supporting the DJI FPV Drone, they advise to not upgrade at this time.

@@ulven75 I know you are just the messenger and made the video when it was clearly possible, but for some reason the b3yond site decided to post a notice warning not to update the dji fpv drone. I don’t know why. It just posted right on the by3ond website. Take a peek at the updates box and the add one one specifies to don’t update the dji fpv, the new one and other models still work as far as I can see from the site.
I just unlocked my dji fpv and no problemo and i discovered a softwareglitch so you can fly 180 km per hour and on one intelligent accu u can fly 14 minutes top, but i advise to fly not longer toen 11 minutes, and i advice to fly higher toen 100 meters high with such speed because this is something for the motion controller because that is the way to fly such speeds and the policy can scan what they want, you re undetectable, in manual mode i got scared, so i went back to sport mode, 180 is enough and the range here in the netherlands is 300 meters and now i can fly 14 km for sure😊😂

Awesome vid!! Question does anybody know if the ham file with the goggles v2 is doing the same thing as shown here? Wondering as I’ve done that with the dji Fpv drone(version 1.03.00) goggles saying 1.07.00 when in Fpv drone mode. I also fly with goggles and a older air unit which when switched from Fpv drone mode they show 1.00.06.07. Have also done wtfos buttery and installed the 1200mw and hd osd. Just not sure when flipping between modes if my ham file still works??
Hi there, The ham file works great on the Avata and O3 air unit. The original air unit and vista needs the naco_pwr.txt file and naco.txt. This mod you see on this video is just for the DJI Fpv drone. If you own a DJI fpv drone - I really recommend that you watch my DJI FPV - Misunderstood video and the latest Dronehacks 1.25 video - Dronhacsk 1.26 also contains great info.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. If you're on the latest firmware it wont work anymore... And if you put it into 1400mw mode then you'll have a 5-10% more power drain (rough estimate)

@@itay-rl4py if you buy a dronehacks license you don't need the B3yond hack. The Dronehacks license is way better and gives you so much more like altitude removal and no fly zones removed.
Hi. I get about 2km in Australia in the open bush, I mean with no obstacles. I do remember seeing a video that in Australia the power is reduced in DJI drones. Would I benefit from this? I get about 14 minutes in normal mode and 9 minutes in sport.
yeah, you should get more rang. But... if you've updated your goggle firmware to .0015 then this mod does not work anymore. The only option you have is Dronehacks. You can watch my Dronehacks 1.26 video for more information. Basically, it removes the nfz, altitude limtie and enables fcc mode (1400mw)

Hi had a question for you not related to this video. Wanted to know if you had made any adjustments to any of your drones with the drone hacks. Like the values of speed, vertical speed etc. If you have what do you think would a safe number on any of those values, so to not hurt the motors or any other part of the drone.? I have been thinking about adjustments but don't know how far I could go, I don't want to damage any of the internals. If you have any ideas I would love to get your input. I have a mini 2 and a air 2.
Hi there. Remember not to update your drones firmware. The mini 3 you're still safe, but the air 2 you mist make sure not to update past a certain point.
With the mini 2 and air 2 I've increased the vertical and decent speed to 6m/s and also the tilt able by +10 degrees.
I would caution you to reconsider making any of these changes as there is really not value to going a bit faster.

@@mustanghuey89 remember you can try it out and increase with smaller increments. You don't need a license to use the Dronehacks app for changing parameters.
@@InfinityDrones with the values that you Changed did you notice a difference at all? Like vertical and decend speed. What did the +10 on the tilt do?
@@mustanghuey89 Yes. On the Mini 1 I always incrase the tilt angle to about 30-35% so that its more aggressive (meaning it can handle wind batter because the angle that its allowed to go is much higher). With vertical decent and acend, I would maybe push it to 5 instead of the default 3. (3 is meters per second). Remember 1m/s is equal to 3.5kph - So from form a value of 3 to 5 you're increasing the speed by 7kph which is quite a lot.
Any ideas on how to unlock speed limiter is 'Sport Mode?'

It's till runs as normal. You're only unlocking the full output (that is unlocked by default if you're in the US, FCC mode 1400mw). If you're outside of the US, like in the EU, you're in CE mode (25mw)

The goggles 2, all you need is the ham_support.cfg file (empty txt file on the goggles's sd card)
Hi,if the drone hacks regular licence is applied to the drone with the fcc hack,which is the output power?Is there a need to do a further mod if the fcc hack is applied?

If using an Android phone you can use the DigiView app. If on an iPhone... you're screwed...

Yes it will. But in my experience I'm still getting 7-9 minutes depending on how I fly.

Hi there, yes you can. You can watch my Dronehacks 1.26 video. You'll need to buy the 40 euro license though. But really recommend it because it will remove your hight limits and your no fly zones.

Couple questions if that's alright: I've only got a MacBook so will your tutorial work fine with that? And also, I'm guessing I won't be able to connect my phone to my goggles when I fly with the hack, so will I lose any functions by not being able to connect with DJI fly? Thanks for the help 🙂
@@dontstealmypenguin Hi there. You need a pc. A Mac won't work.
You can use the fly app. But just know that the fly app might sneak in an update that could prevent the mod from working. So use at own risk. Other than that I really really recommend that you watch my dronehacks 1.26 video. It explains everything

Hi so does this decrease flight time? If so by how much also would I be able to revert it back to normal?
The mod is linked to your goggles and might decrease the battery on your goggles faster. So you don't need to worry, your fligiht time will remain the same.
I bought the unlock, I report that the range of the drone and the transmission signal did not increase at all! Unlocking no fly Zone worked.

No its not, for that you'll need the dronehacks mod. I have a complete walkthrough video that I recently posted.

The DJI drone is really not that bad, honestly, if you see it a long range cinematic drone and not a freestyle drone it's pretty decent.
The dji fpv drone will definitely get a lot more people onto the hobby. Blends all things mavic with most things fpv pretty well.
How to check my drone version and downgrade if needed?
Easiest way wil be in the googles. You will need to to to the "about" section. Or you can plug your drone into the PC and open DJI Assistant 2 for FPV. I prefer to use the Dronehacks tool though. I have videos on my channel on how to use dronehacks (the best tool and mod by far)

Must be the latest update then... you can use dronehacks to downgrade your goggles. I just have not tested it myself.
But I will be doing the test in the next day or two on my goggles.

You're talking about the dji fly app version, and not the firmware. The app does not block you, no.

Well I was forced to update my drone passed .15. Mine is now currently .20. Is there a way for me to revert back? Or am I simply out of luck?

That the latest firmware update... I've not personally tested it... But never update unless absolutely necessary... I do not think it's supported... Check the Dronehacks birdmap

Beyond is a bit old now... I recommend using dronehacks as a permanent solution. Beyond onky works if you're in older firmware

as far as i know B3yond only supports the older firmwares... and will not work anymore - BUT its worth a try - its free.
Trouble is u get better penetration but u loose flight times as watts power consume more power my sport mode time is 9.45 without hack with hack I get 5min normal mode 15 Min without 9.56 with
Hi there, I've never seen the flight times you're taking about on my quad... Mot I've ever had was 10 min in normal mode crusing... For me the FCC hack didn't make much of a difference as I'd far rather have beter signal than longer flight times (but remember, for me theres only about a 1-2 m in difference in my testing)
WARNING: Do not update your v2 goggles to a firmware version ending with 015. DJI recently (somewhere in july 2022) sneakily rolled out this firmware update unabling you to do any of the range improvements.
Dronehacks still enables 1400mw mode.
The naco_pwr.txt and naco.txt mods still work 100%. So do not worry.

@@27jezus the 015 firmware is on the goggles and has no affect on the drone's mod. You need to have your drone on the correct firmware as per my dronehacks 1.27 video. This video you will only help you if you have old firmware. Please go have a look at my Dronehacks video series.

If you're in the US the. You're already in fcc (700mw) mode. But you can still use this to get to the 1400mw mode.

@@daZkid if you do the Dronehacks mod then all the nfz and altitude limits are removed. But you'll need to follow my dronehacks walkthrough video and the license does cost 50 euro.

I had to downgrade to 01.02.000 to unlock it and I have unlocked it successfully, can i update the firmware to the latest after unlocking it? or i must stay on 01.02.0000 as long as is unlocked? and is there any adjustments that must be done on the FPV googles for this mode to be on? and last question by this way not connecting your phone means you cannot fly normal or Sport mode or use RTH function right?
If you update the firmware this mid will be lost. I recommend you watch my dronehacks 1.26 video. The license costs 40 euro, but it offers so much more. Also watch my DJI FPV drone - misunderstood gem. There you'll see the full benefit.
@@InfinityDrones I did pay for the 40 euro license , downgraded to a special 0014 version for the air unit , then upgrade to 0020 version, also need to mention in order to avoid blackouts you need to flash also the googles , unfortunately if you are on 0015 update there is no way to downgrade or upgrade but flashing them to the same 0015 firmware will do the job. I have tested my drone after unlocking it with b3yond. i used a spot where i always lose signal and guess what.. not anymore :) i had full signal both on googles and RC on a spot that i always lose signal so i can 100% confirm this works . Thanks alot

Yes.. but with dronehacks you can downgrade your goggles. I''ve not tested if the B3yond hacks will work after that. But i'll be testing the downgrade in the next few days.

yes it is, but with newer firmware its being blocked. Dronehacks permanently enables it. Take a look at my dronehacks videos

Are you going to find a way to downgrade the last drone firmware 1.03.0000 ? ( not the goggles, just the drone)
I do not understand... The latest dji fpv drone firmware is:
Aircraft Firmware: v01.02.0015
Goggles Firmware: v01.03.0000
So when you say your drone is oon 1.03.0000 ... are you sure you're not mistaken?

I bought the avata fly smart combo met de fly more kit en goggles and the dji fpv drone combo and 2 sd cards botheid ready to fly and i spend 3thousand euro and i want to sell botheid 7 weeks new drones botheid for 1250 euro and the reciet i have to proof the new drones

@@jeremykip6441 on the goggles v2 you can update to the latest version and then use the ham file or you can go the wtfos butter way and downgrade your goggles all the way and update to the 01.02.0000 version.

@@InfinityDrones I saw another video where they were saying do not update the DJI software, as it will not allow the hacks then and you cant down grade. So I think this is why its not working.

@@pistolpete1992 B3yond mod does. It work past a certain firmware yes. But you can watch my dronehacks 1.26 video and you'll see that with dronehacks you can have it all.
why i didn't succeed after using the b3yond app on android?

Ok so I see i big warning on web site WARNING: DO NOT UPGRADE YOUR DJI FPV DRONE OR GOGGLES!
01.02.00.15 and above is currently not compatible with B3YOND. i did the whole process anyhow and says sucess at the end so what is my drone updated or what ? can i buy a coffee or not for these guys ?
There is no way to test the output unless you have an RF meter - Me personally, I use the Dronehacks method as its something you do once and its done. This method works, but since you're already on the later "unsupported" firmware you'll not get the benefit of the B3yond method.

@@InfinityDrones tried it with my now and and updated avatar 1 to no avail, probs just a uk or me thing, the avatar 2 in the uk appears to be difficult to unlock the fcc even with proper instruction or drone tweaks!
@@tyhursteyetc if you're using the Avata 1 then you can just put that ham_support.cfg file on the goggles to unlock FCC mode. With the avata 2 you must use the dronetweaks app to get fcc mode, no other way currently. Use with the ham_support.cfg file.

Have you tried it? :P Yes it still works, you could also get a Dronehacks licens and fully unlock your DJI FPV drone by removing the no fly zones, altitude limits and enabling FCC mode.

Yes, but the chances of you being 9n the right firmware is probably unlikely. The Dronehacks option is the better way
