Tho theyll just make the jails trusties clean it up to get out of their cell for 20 minutes.
Jared Connell Stacie wasn’t saying that he had his lights on the whole time he was driving, as he only turned them on after he hit that ladies car. I do believe OP was referring to the fact that most off duty officers (obviously this one would be off duty had he actually had surgery) don’t typically drive around their squad cars. They have personal vehicles.

Well he didn't say he was driving home form the hospital. Try to pay attention.
Having been in law enforcement for 28 years I have seen many deputies ruin their careers by doing very stupid things like this trooper did. Each time I’ve been on the scene of incident like this as a supervisor the first thing I did was confiscate badge ID and gun so the deputy/officer understood clearly that there would be accountability and no special treatment would be given. Losing your integrity to uphold the law you’ve sworn to uphold is something you can never recover from
I know there is an increasing outrage across the nation regarding law enforcement. I understand the need for qualified immunity just like I understand the need for social welfare. I think the issue the public (me being a member of the public) has is when it is abused. When someone is suspected of welfare fraud, the people don’t try to shoe horn in a crazy justification for it, but when public servants that cannot perform their duties effectively and efficiently without the public trust betray that trust, there seems to be an enormous amount of effort spent on figuring out how to justify it. I’m only speaking generally and I know there are plenty of agencies that do it right. My Sheriff has been in office for decades. He’s tough, but he also knows that this is a rural county and people who live here don’t move out to the boondocks to be hassled. I’ve seen several deputies get fired for relatively minor things, but He doesn’t tolerate his deputies crossing the line. I don’t know your health condition or what demands your life has, but I think you could continue to serve your community and your descendants by finding a way to bridge the gap between LEOs and the public. The nonsense of defunding the police is ludicrous. We all want law and order. We want LEOs that want to serve their communities, not lord over them. Cops are people, I get it, but cashiers are people, too. When a cashier commits a crime, well I think you get it. This nation could use men like you (I’m assuming that you are Mr. Cody, if not, I will claim unqualified immunity!) and fellow professionals like you that can see the direction that local and state law enforcement is headed. If things don’t change, I foresee the federal government taking over all law enforcement functions in this country. If that happens, qualified immunity will be the license to burn the constitution. Thanks for your service and I hope retirement is treating you well. I’m retired Army, but I’m still working and raising 4 kids.
Good on you, Mr. Lee. Good men like were the public’s only defense from these A-holes and the secret wink & handshake culture that permeates law enforcement culture before the rise in use of dash and body armory cams. That’s made things a lot better, but we still need guys like you more than ever
I'm glad you said "very stupid things". He didn't do one thing. He did dozens of things. Drinking nine beers is a lot of things, more than nine. Putting his shirt on inside out? Getting in the car? Actually going out on the road? Lying to the officer who arrived on scene?
@@firemonkey1015 So you like when chemically impaired cops crash into innocent civilians ,lie about it and try to get the other cop to cover for him? That’s a good thing in your view. Got it. All cops are wonderful and the people who pay their salaries deserve to be rear ended and blamed. Got it. Poor cop. What a great guy.
@@firemonkey1015 No what’s sad is how these guys get away with so much. A sheriff here in Milam county, Texas was speeding(no lights) killed a pastor and nothing has happened, another cop off duty but still a cop was drunk and ran into 4 parked cars next to our high school while kids were walking(even filmed it) and didn’t go to jail that day. Can’t tell me that’s not shady!
“Yeah, she already made phone calls” that tells you they were attempting to cover it up but now they can’t. Looking for anyway to cover this until they know they can’t.
OF COURSE the cop doesnt want to bust a fellow cop. These people put their life on the line daily and have a brotherhood. WTF is hard to understand about that???
Ummmmmmm nothing you idiot. It still doesnt mean he wants to bust a coworker. Obviously its his job and he has to. Google the difference between want to and has to
I don't understand why there's never a reaction of anger or disgust that another officer is embarsing the uniform and bringing shame upon that brotherhood? The first reaction is too often "how can we hide this?" Show honor the authority you hold by expecting honor in your fellow officers.
Brian ... looks to me like there's ALREADY a cover-up in place. They said his name is SGT. 1ST Class Michael Roadside ... and he was working a construction site prior to the accident? Are you kidding me? Whose name is ROADSIDE? Had he hit somebody while pulling out of the ROADSIDE construction site he was working, I guess it would have been chalked-down as a simple ROADSIDE ACCIDENT!
SincerelyVince Because the cop that arrived at the scene couldn't brush this away *knowing* that this lady's son in law, as a State Trooper, would have an avenue to share what happened - and to access the dash cam footage. For most of us, if something like this happened, we would have no one in our corner in law enforcement.
Stacie M Yeah but he’s a trooper so he’s not going to want to go out of his way to get involved in this, that’s the last thing he’d want to do. But the fact that the story has gotten out at all is the issue.
If the Cop had just shot her before she made those pesky phone calls, she'd have been found dead in her car, pistol in her hand, glove box and purse full of heroin.
After all of these obvious signs, why was he allowed to continue to sit behind the wheel of a running emergency vehicle while the other cop made a phone call?
@@peanutthepoodle I think you misunderstood what the cop was doing. He was getting him to calm down. A supervisor was on the way, a supervisor which was going to handle the arrest. Cops commonly talk that way, even when they know they're going to make an arrest.
He's alone and waiting for a supervisor. The cop also hadn't performed any field sobriety tests/a breathalyzer. There was a chance (though admittedly slim) that the drunk trooper maybe was experiencing some strange health related problems. Regardless, he didn't want to have to cuff a drunk man with a gun alone. I can't say I blame him either.
@@peanutthepoodle It deescalating a situation. Very common and smart tactic used by anyone in crisis/ situations like this. Admittedly a risk factor but there is also a risk in trying to remove the perceived power this trooper would have had, especially if he was possibly drunk (innocent until proven guilty). Being a cop is a hard job and they dont get the respect they deserve. Things can go sideways very fast if your not careful.
Imagine the paranoia and fear that goes through you when you are rear ended by a cop like that. And then to find a drunk cop with his clothes inside out offering to pay you money. He has his weapon and you cant really run because of the gun, his intoxicationt, it would be evading police and he could follow in his cop car and you would be hindered as you would be assumed to be a criminal fleeing. Scariest situation ever! I don't blame her for calling her partner first. You'd be terrified to call the cops without getting some consult. You'd have no idea what to do
"I'm calling 911, because i don't think you are who you say you are" "If you approach me further in any way, you can contact your dispatch to find which police station they're directing me to" It won't SOLVE anything your very good analysis showed, but, it is an option. If it is a cop he can call for backup. If he refuses you better leave in a direction toward a LOT of people and get 911 asap. They won't be happy, and they'll likely tell you you're getting in more trouble, but they will work with you. And, you know, at least if you do get merked there will be a trail for who comes next to follow.
@@nicewhenearnedrudemostlyel489. I called the police while pulled over. After 10 minutes into the cop told me to turn the car off. I asked why, by the 3rd time he screamed it at me. *'I don't blame her for calling her partner first."* She didn't call her partner; she called her fiance. I'm not aware of any evidence that she is either the part owner of a business, or in an hama-sheshyull relationship.
I wonder why the cop speaking to dispatch mentioned that "she already made phone calls." I can only surmise that the question was asked ... "did she contact anyone?" Now why would dispatch want to know that?
He's definitely on the phone with a supervisor. He explained that he was going to do that. This guy clearly doesn't know the drunk trooper, so he has no real reason to cover for him. Damn people. Enough with the cop hate.
4:50 “Yeah, she already made phone calls.” -Did you get that? That was the moment where the sober officer decided he couldn’t cover up the drunken officer’s actions because “she already made phone calls (so there are witnesses aside from her)”. His superior, on the other end of the line, probably asked him before that answer: “Does anyone else know about it?”
"I'm not drunk, just on morphine, Xanax, and Fentanyl from the hospital. Oh, and my clothes, I turned them inside out so I could wear them an extra day."
So... this officer made ~110,000 a year at the time of the accident.. He took a plea deal for a $386 dollar fine, and 12 hours of community service. He had to forfeit his license for 7 months as well. The department gave him a 56 day suspension, and made him forfeit his personal and vacation time. Due to public outcry over this... the department forced him into retirement, where he will enjoy full benefits for a retiree from the state of New Jersey. Justice? I think not.
While any civilian does that your looking at an average of $10,000 for a dui, jail and that DUI will haunt you for ever. This guy got paid, it was probably the best thing he did, DUI for cop = Early retirement with full benefits. DUI for civilian = lose everything. It's time to hold cops 100% accountable for breaking any law the same way we are held for our mistakes.
OK, let's see now. He paid into his pension and was not fired. Being allowed to retire gave him the ability to receive his pension. It's not how you feel about it, it's what the law / regulations allow for.

How wonderful the trooper who arrives is telling his supervisor, "she already made phone calls." Wow! Is anyone investigating this entire troop for corruption?
Theres other videos on youtube with arresting officers for DUI and they were talking to their superiors on how to handle it. They also let the superior officer on phone know their mic and camera is on before talking. Why would that need to be said?

Can't do that to a fellow ocifer, aquafer, err......(HICKUP).....officer. Carrie Nation couldn't pass a field sobriety test-they're impossible. Their only purpose is to provide probable cause where none really exists. Probable cause is the LAST thing they wanted in this encounter.
When I tried to drive myself home after outpatient surgery the hospital called the police on me! I was threatened with being arrested if I tried to get in my car! You sign a form saying you won’t drive, drink, or make any important decisions for at least 24hrs after surgery. Thank God he hit her car! Imagine the damage he could’ve caused just coming to a dead stop on the highway? She’s the real hero!
Do you really think he was on the way home from surgery? As you said, they make sure I have a ride home before I go under anesthesia. I think that was just the first excuse he could come up with. It doesn't make him any less liabile if true - we're warned not to drive afterwards!
Read the description at the top of this video.. he absolutely was not coming home from surgery.... Also why would a cop show up to the hospital to undergo a surgical procedure in full uniform and in his police cruiser??
Kite boy lmfao please tell that was sarcasm ? Police have special training to drive while drunk lmfao🤣😂🤣 can I get that training as well . Bro your smoking too much crack lol
No hospital would. This guy was in a marked car, vomit on his shirt and obviously DUI. And the trooper tippy toeing around the issues on the recording? His ass should have been fired. They wouldn't think twice if a lay person tried this.
Tyler Serafin Seems that many parts of the US need the "cleansing process" we had in Queensland, Australia some 30 years ago. Basically a TV show unearthed corruption at state police/government level. this led to investigations, and amongst other things a complete shake up of police and politicians culture. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fitzgerald_Inquiry
@@Tyler-Bravo that's why we have all these problems today with the police taken advantage of the law because they know nothing bad would happen. That's why these types of rules needs to be changed.
I usually support law enforcement BUT this guy needs to be locked up for 5 years. As an officer you are supposed to set an example and held to a higher standard. I think there should be a totally separate charge (more serious) for when an officer commits a crime.
cblair0608 5 years for a DUI, when most people won't even get 6 months for a THIRD offende DUI? Lot of felonies don't even get you 5 years smh At the rate you're proposing, you should be locked up for 3 months for a dumb comment on the internet
I totally agree with you. EVERY crime committed by any officer should automatically be one level higher and any and ALL felonies should be mandatory maximum sentence. You wanna be a cop, act like one!
Drunk cop should have known his colleague was going take him to the slammer. The red flag was when he was like "Yeah, no problem. Sure, we will take care of it" Lol 😂. Then the lady he hit had no problem telling on his ass...
I have very good friends who are LEO's, so I say this: the police need to reallly crack down on this shit. They need to hold other officers accountable and show the public they swore to protect that they won't let this shit happen. Throw the book at the bad ones so the good ones are left with at least some respect.
I'd like to know his dui arrest number of suspected dui traffic stops he had done while an officer. Sickens me seeing cops deal out those who served dui's when it's proven a driver is under the influence , give them the dangers speech them do the same thing. Working drunk driving crashes, seeing the victims impact and yet thinking because they have a badge they are OK to do so. Thankfully at this day the damage he caused was minor and he was stopped before worse could have happened. I'm disgusted by his actions and the punishment he recieved. He needs far more education classes that what the courts gave him as punishment and should be allowed to West a badge until he can prove he had been sobor for 6 months. Our officers need a higher punishment for doing this.
Not sure where everyone is getting the "corruption" from, obviously this was a very sensitive situation and the Officer wanted to keep things calm. The Officer was obviously lying to the man to keep him calm, there's no way of knowing if he'd pull a weapon or panic and try to take off in these situations, looks to me like he handled it well.
DrYmath you must be watching a different video then me!!!! Looks to me like this is my buddy, fellow officer, we will get you home real soon. Charges: not likely!
did you hear him say to whoever he was talking to? He said "she already made phone calls". Meaning if she hadn't made those calls they would've tried to cover it up
DrYmath -So you didn’t watch the full video? In particular, 4:50 where he says: “Yeah ... she already made phone calls”. That was the attending officer deciding he COULDN’T cover for the drunk cop because people besides the female victim knew about the incident. You probably also missed the “penalties” the drunk cop received.
I think by listening to the investigating troopers cell phone call to whomever he made it to, probably a boss..., wished he took a personal day today...
True fact: he didn’t even get charged with having his gun on him while drunk which is a felony. The other cop didn’t even report that fact. Funny how that works.
If the first words out of a person's mouth are "I'm not drunk" that's about the same as the people that start off a sentence by stating "they aren't racist, but"
He saw what the guy looked like when he got out of the car and he says, ‘We’ll get you out of here fast.’ I’m a big supporter of the police, but the way this was handled is outrageous. Good for the clear-headed woman.
The cop that responded to the incident you can tell that he is hesitant to say that he suspects the trooper is drunk because he knows it is being recorded
not 99% good, too many cover up for the slugs and POS like this, the system is so corrupt, citizens lose, always...this idiot needs jail time.....but of course, he's "special"....
If New Jersey is like Texas. Some troopers but a car and lease it to the state. They get a lot more $$ that way. 86% of all motorcycle cops in Texas are leased to their department.
Pled guilty and license was suspended for 7 months in addition to fines and AA classes... Pretty standard for a first offense but it should've been more since he's sworn to uphold the law and knows better, in my opinion. Juris Prudence though... Judges have to sentence properly based on similar cases
SICK AND TIRED OF POLICE THINKING THEY ARE ABOVE THE LAW!!!! IF THIS LADY DIDN'T CALL IT IN THEN THE DRUNK OFFICER WOULD HAVE GOTTEN AWAY WITH IT!!!! SHAMEFUL!!!! IT'S NOT FAIR!!!!

@@InDatParish what about if they're on duty though? Cops also are held to a higher standard if there's a shooting or something, it's a crime for on duty cops to flee or hide while they know others are in danger
I think everyone handled this very nicely. The female was very articulate, very classy, no malice, the arresting cop very calm and professional. This was handled very well up until the drunk guy almost got off lightly. Glad public outcry got the job done.. You cannot have a drunk cop with a gun on his belt.
the drunk with a firearm is a good point!! what would a civilian be charged with???? and was he on duty??? if so, how are you going to doc appointment on the clock????
I had minor surgery and was put out during the procedure. My brother was in the waiting room, and they spoke to him. You cannot have surgery and drive within 24 hours. In my area, per written notice I signed twice before the surgery.
After investigating ourselves, we found that we did nothing wrong. Officer claimed he was not drunk. Bottle cap was evidence from a non related case. The women will be ticket for unsafe driving. Case closed.
“Bad guy” got a slap on the wrist because he’s a cop and he was only forced to retire after public outcry. If this didnt go public he would be back on the streets. Blue privilege is the problem

I noticed when the officer pulled up & started investigating this when he was on his radio while he was explaining to some one on the radio what was going on he said she has already spoke to some one else about this. Why do you think he said that???????
The cop calls his supervisor n explains every symptom of a drunk and you can tell he gets asked something along the lines of do we have to arrest him n he says ya we might have to take him in she called a bunch of people. Disgusting. He'd be in the back of a cop car if he weren't a cop. His shirt might be inside out with puke on it but this is some backwards shit coming out the wrong way. I understand standing up for a brother in law enforcement but if it were anyone else he'd be seeing a judge by then. The only reason the cop did the right thing is because she called people n her kids a trooper. He tried to be vague and unsure to save the guys ass
"He's a lil bit....(Drunk?)...Uh...yeah. That's the problem....."She's already made phone calls...)So we can't cover it up?)...Uh...yeah. The thin blue line.
Exactly. But he did conveniently forget to mention the drunk cop had his gun on him, which is a felony. The cop was never charged with that so you know the “sober” cop never mentioned it and had the drunk one remove the gun and hide it.
Court court court what a joke.... If she didn't make phone calls and make it known that there was a drunk cop in a cruiser that hit her, there would be no court. You must be young, a cop in training or an actual cop because you seem to have a lot of faith in the court system being fair and in search of truth and justice.... But it isn't... It's a tool of extortion for the people who are part of their little club (anyone in the bar association,) and the cops are their little retarded henchman to suck people in... You're just like most cops who have a fairy tale view of the reality of court....

@@SuperMontsta It's important because they don't know who she's called. She could have called a journalist who was on their way right then, so they can't delete the tapes or try to cover it up. Having trouble finding a rug to sweep this one under?
My guess is that they did not want it on the 5 o-clock news...
Nah cops arent dumb i used to work with them. They can smell the alc on you especially when you keep talkin like he did and all that breath gets in their face. He just didnt want to believe it. Ive worked with not for the stamford pd for a year and they know bs when its bs
Welcome to New Jersey. If she hadn’t already made calls she wouldn’t have been found.
Exactly..any confrontation with police should go to live stream immediately. You can practically count on a crime being committed.
Yeah and then the cruiser cam skips from 14:25 to 14:44. Wonder if the missing 20 seconds of conversation following was interesting...
"She made some calls". Oh dear. getting hard to extend the old "professional courtesy".
“She already made phone calls” Wow if she hadn’t he would’ve been good to go. Scary
$386 fine;12 hours of community service; and, after a public outcry, forced to retire with full benefits. Is that the kind of treatment the average citizen can expect in similar circumstances and not when they are on paid work time? This stinks!
HE lost his job man. What else do you want? Save your anger for the piece of shit foul pig in Mesa that murdered the white guy in the hotel who said he couldn't move. Guy let a half clip into him. Guy's got testicle cancer, he's drinking and loosing it. What do you want? Take away his healthcare so he dies of cancer? His pension and benefits are his, he worked for them. Here in Canada it doesn't matter if your a serial killer, your pension is your, you worked for it.
Well here in america these cops ruin lives and pensions over crimes A HELL of a lot less serious than this. He is out there hitting another vehicle while totally trashed in a state funded vehicle. He could've actually KILLED somebody... What if that was a motorcycle he hit?.. Your son on his dirt bike?... You should REALLY think about some of this before you go defending special treatment for criminals
Hey it's N.J. The state is unbelievably CORRUPT. Not to worry.. it's also ground zero for the libtard, resist movement, so just sit back and enjoy the corruption,. Like they say in the Smith Barney ad, you earned it!
@Mr Free1 You want outrage, watch the Mesa cop murder a guy in cold blood and walk without charges, it's all taped too. He's some roided out douche who let off an AR clip into some guys back.
Hill doggy dogg. How about a DUI or OVI like anyone else would have gotten in this situation?? How about being arrested and his drivers license revoked.... losing his job is NOT enough. Cops should be held accountable just like civilians. This disgusts me
1:00 Wow... that lady handled the situation incredibly well.
Cynical.
hey, we gotta give kudos for the drunk cop, least he used his lights!
2:04 She's rear-ended by a drunk cop in a cop car and the investigating officer demands to see HER license, registration and proof of insurance! "Protect & Serve" your blue curtain pals first, taxpayers second.
Heywood Jabuzoff the guy has to do an accident report regardless of what happens to the cop....
a2zme nah shes an idiot who thinks shes above cops. She was telling a cop what to do, talking down to the investigative cop like the cops work for her, no they dont. They dont have to do a damn thing sje says. She cant tell an officer to get back in his car, infact telling an officer to get back in his car is in incredibly dumb idea. This woman is an idiot
He was driving home from the hospital from a prostate surgery in a marked squad car with lights and flashers???
Yeah....
Stacie M the McDonald was about to close...
I know what a joke. Stopping people while your drunk. Dropping gun magazines on the ground. You could tell he was drunk by the way his hair stood up. Stumbles out of his car " I have not been drinking. Not me. I'll pay for the damage. Shes finneee. This never happened" i hope he vommited all over the other cruiser. Tho theyll just make the jails trusties clean it up to get out of their cell for 20 minutes.
@@JaredConnell Bootlicker
Losing your integrity to uphold the law you’ve sworn to uphold is something you can never recover from
Then we need more cops like you.
@@dennisjohnsen7297 I’ll take this to heart my friend. Blessings.
You can tell the officer and dispatcher are nervous about not being able to cover up for the drunk trooper. Sad! This goes on in every single county.
Yeah the sober cop says “I think you’re gonna have to… she’s already made phone calls”.
"YEAAA she already made phone calls"
Love how this is always everyone’s first thought about situations like this, do you really hate cops this much? It’s sad honestly.
The cop was drunk, and crashed into the back of a stopped car. IT'S ILLEGAL.
If this lady’s son in law was not a State Trooper and she had not called 911 on her own, this would have just “disappeared”.
What did the son in law have to do with it? Telling her to call the cops?
SincerelyVince
Because the cop that arrived at the scene couldn't brush this away *knowing* that this lady's son in law, as a State Trooper, would have an avenue to share what happened - and to access the dash cam footage. For most of us, if something like this happened, we would have no one in our corner in law enforcement.
Stacie M
My father is Santa. Do you now *know* my father is Santa?
Stacie M Yeah but he’s a trooper so he’s not going to want to go out of his way to get involved in this, that’s the last thing he’d want to do. But the fact that the story has gotten out at all is the issue.
If the Cop had just shot her before she made those pesky phone calls, she'd have been found dead in her car, pistol in her hand, glove box and purse full of heroin.
After all of these obvious signs, why was he allowed to continue to sit behind the wheel of a running emergency vehicle while the other cop made a phone call?
Because as you heard at the very beginning, the cop was planning on just letting him off the hook
It was a very delicate situation. There was no telling what he might do if confronted before backup arrived. This could’ve turned deadly.
You'd have no idea what to do
"I'm calling 911, because i don't think you are who you say you are"
"If you approach me further in any way, you can contact your dispatch to find which police station they're directing me to"
It won't SOLVE anything your very good analysis showed, but, it is an option.
You could lose him so easy. He would hit someone else and couldn't read your tags

Clearly, he is a dishonest person. He should not be a police officer
“Yeah, she already made phone calls”, the cop says. If she hadn’t, they’d have let him go. Guaranteed.
Yup
My thoughts exactly, the ranking officer on the phone was looking for a way to excuse this without filing a report.
Two cops and a supervisor almost screwed her over. (metaphorically)
I wonder why the cop speaking to dispatch mentioned that "she already made phone calls." I can only surmise that the question was asked ... "did she contact anyone?" Now why would dispatch want to know that?
SuperSammy1919 wasn’t dispatch he was talking to it was watch command.
the woman already said she called her boyfriend who is a cop - so She Already Made Phone Calls.
Those calls she made just stopped a criminal conspiracy.
They knew they had a public relations issue on their hands. Still, it shouldn't have been any of their concerns right then.
He sure covered up for the fact the drunk one had his gun on him though, which is a felony
Good for her for wanting to make sure he is properly dealt with. She could have been intimidated into keeping quiet.
Pretty obvious he was looking for a way to limit the impact on the driveway cop.
this happens more than you know, says my uncle who has been an officer for many years.

I have very good friends who are LEO's, so I say this: the police need to reallly crack down on this shit. They need to hold other officers accountable and show the public they swore to protect that they won't let this shit happen. Throw the book at the bad ones so the good ones are left with at least some respect.
" she already made phone calls"
That's the ONLY reason the officer was arrested😞

Im currently training to become a police officer and that mans actions embarass me as do all the other bad cops that make the 99% look bad
I am not bothered by bad cops. I am bothered by good cops that protect them.
hes a 1 percenter
not 99% good, too many cover up for the slugs and POS like this, the system is so corrupt, citizens lose, always...this idiot needs jail time.....but of course, he's "special"....
charged with drunken driving most be fired , he is dangerous
Nah, just an easy retirement for this douche.
i'm sure he was suspended WITH pay!
4:52 "yea she already made phone calls". Was he discussing a cover up with his supervisor but couldn't because she already let people know.
Yup and he did cover up the fact the guy had his gun on him too which is a felony
drunk and in possession of a firearm is a bigger crime than DUI
The inside out shirt is hilarious. His shoes were probably on the wrong feet as well.
WHY IS A STATE POLICE OFFICER ALLOWED TO TAKE TAXPAYER PAID CAR HOME?
Response time...... & they don't have roll calls and buddy chats before work, they hop in and drive to their Highways.
If New Jersey is like Texas. Some troopers but a car and lease it to the state. They get a lot more $$ that way. 86% of all motorcycle cops in Texas are leased to their department.
He wasn't coming from home, he was finishing up a shift. He got drunk WHILE working his shift.
When the first thing you say is “I’m not drunk”... Even if they didn’t think you was before that, they do now lol.
Thank you.
For protecting us citizens.
🙏
lol in the video they literally try to cover up the fact that hes drunk and try to brush it under the rug like these are not good cops
Very sad to see this. A disgrace to his profession.
Man, the way stuff goes down in Jersey makes Florida look tame!
Cops or anyone in a position of authority (Lawmakers and Law enforcers) should face a mandatory maximum for ANY crime committed.
WhiskyHarpy citizens all have equal rights. Police are citizens like everyone else. They’re human beings. Which means your job shouldn’t determine how harsh your penalty is. The penalty is whatever the law allows, regardless of race, sex, profession, etx
WhiskyHarpy holding one person more culpable or responsible for their occupation is literally the opposite of justice...think about it
@@InDatParish what about if they're on duty though? Cops also are held to a higher standard if there's a shooting or something, it's a crime for on duty cops to flee or hide while they know others are in danger
" yh she already made phone calls" so close to getting away with it then lol
they never prosecute their own
freedom from except he and many others have been prosecuted and gotten sentences smh.
"Alternate reality"
Spoken like a basement dweller with no direct knowledge.
I like how he had to report on the radio that the woman had already made calls to her state trooper son in law so they wouldn’t try to cover it up
That's exactly what I do when I get pulled over.. i get out of the car and start saying I'm not drunk .. works every time .
Wow sounds like it's a good thing you made a phone call!
I didn't know the hospital serves alcohol now a days..
You didn't know bro?
Propyphol with lidocaine was in my drink at the hospital. My brother was there to drive me home.
Uniform inside out, dropping beer bottle tops, and covered in vomit 😂😂😂 don't forget you had to say I'm not drunk 😂
Phil Leotardo reckless driving phil
"She will be ticket..." 😀😁😂😃
That's not what happened. He's not a cop anymore. We got the bad guy. What's the problem?
“Bad guy” got a slap on the wrist because he’s a cop and he was only forced to retire after public outcry. If this didnt go public he would be back on the streets. Blue privilege is the problem
@@ReezyFresh no, lack of respect for peace officers is the problem. Glad we got that straightened out.
Officer 1 : I’m on medication
Officer 2: which one ?
Officer 1 : Budweiserol - high dose.
Officer 2: yes can make you feel drunk and drowsy at a high dosage.not your fault. I’d let you carry on your journey but she’s made calls.
Officer1: crap.
Officer 2: your shirt is inside out
Officer 1: it’s reversible.
What shocked me the most was this lady using the term “magazine” instead of “clip”. Props to you nice lady 😂.
Roach clip
This cop was not going to arrest the state trooper until the woman said she called it in and the supervisor wanted it covered up but the cop told him she had already made phone calls. What a shame
When you hit a Karen from behind....
You better break out more than a $1,000
Check.....This Karen wants 3 grand cash
the hospital sent him home without a driver after anesthesia, she should have taken the ambulance to the hospital
Peter Clarke that was the thing that really made me chuckle. He's having a prostate surgery in the morning and then going back to work like he only went to the dentist.
0:11 The way that these officers are trained to say "okay" is very effective in keeping everyone calm. I would fall for it too... I'm an idiot though. =(
"she already made phone calls" ... iow ... we probably aren't going to be able to sweep this under ...
I love how everything is just so sugar coated when dealing with their own hypocrisy should only go so far
He tried to be vague and unsure to save the guys ass
he was gonna let him go but she already made calls
"I'm in a cop car, I'll never get caught" I bet he thought.
That cops being nicer to his drunk buddy than the poor lady who just got a gun pulled on her and hit from behind by a drunk cop
YOU CAN'T EVEN MAKE THIS CRAZY CRAP UP!
Jumps out of car..."I'm not drunk" what a genius. Wipe the puke off your inside out shirt chief.
Ah... They wanted to know at the end of they could cover it up, but Eh.. She already made phone calls....
J F Her phone calls are irrelevant and in court wouldn't be proof of anything. 100% hearsay.
J F You're obviously an idiot who thinks calling a friend matters at all in a car accident of any type smh.
Obviously you're not an attorney or anyone with at least a GED at minimum.
@@SuperMontsta It's important because they don't know who she's called. She could have called a journalist who was on their way right then, so they can't delete the tapes or try to cover it up. She could have called a lawyer because it was an exceptional circumstance she found herself in. The point is, if they had got to her before she made any calls, they would probably have tried to cover it up but not knowing who she called meant they had to go by the book or their own asses were on the line.
@@johnbull1568 Doesn't matter who it is, a phone call wouldn't hold up in court. She could have called the judge they'd go in front of, but if the cop had gotten rid of all evidence, good luck prosecuting.
You can walk into a police station, tell them you killed someone...but if they have 0 evidence (no weapon, no body etc)...charges won't stick. The law is all about proofing stuff, and "well, she told me over the phone that it happened" wouldn't work.
Suspended? He should have been fired!
They were going to cover it up that’s why he said she already made calls
