New Brake Pad & Rotor Kit from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ib/1ABFS01451
This video shows you how to install rear brake pads and rotors on your 2002-2006 Honda CR-V. Brake pads wear out over time, much like tires, and need replacing, on average, every 50,000 miles, with variations depending on driving habits and environment. Brake rotors may also need to be replaced if they are warped or grooved. Often, it’s safer and more cost effective to replace pads and rotors at the same time. Squealing or grinding noises, or wheel vibration are all symptoms of worn brakes.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2002 Honda CR-V
2003 Honda CR-V
2004 Honda CR-V
2005 Honda CR-V
2006 Honda CR-V

Holy cow, they're actually doing a tutorial on a car thats actually been used and worn instead of a clean, immaculate show room quality vehicle with no rust, wear or corrosion. 😮
All the info I need to do the job, without annoying music or frivolous commentary. Camera work is clear and focused, lighting is great. Thanks!

Man, would you look at the rust on that caliper, dammmmnnnn!
Thanks you so much 🙏🏼
Should always loosen the bleeder valve before pushing in the caliper just so gunk doesn't get pushed into your master cylinder.
Are there suppose to be springs on the pads?
When we adjust the parking brake shoes, should the parking brake be on or off?
I changed my brake pads at the mechanic yesterday but today I've noticed it's making a squeaking sound that only stop whenever I step on the brake
What is that red stuff on the bolt?
Wow, that is some dirty rusty lookin brakes, I’m surprised it still functioned
The two bolts on the bracket are 17mm. And I was hoping that you were going to at least check the brake shoes since you went thru all that trouble to take everything apart...
Top class instruction.
what about breaking in the rotors?
We’re gonna grab on to the WHAAATTT??? 6:20
Who has a caliper compression tool?
Oops, you didn't put the 2 screws and rubber plug back into the rotor. you'll catch it
My rotor is hung up on the parking brake shoes. I found this video and I was hoping to see some tips on how to get past this, but apparently you have no tips for me.
Man that car is falling apart
