This video shows you how to install a CV axle shaft on your 2002-2006 Honda CR-V. A CV axle has flexible joints. Often, these joints wear out, or seize from contaminants due to the protective boot tearing open. A worn joint is prone to breakage, or other hazards. If your vehicle needs a new CV axle, install a quality TRQ axle that is engineered to your vehicle’s specifications.

What about the one on the passenger side that doesn't go directly into the transmission but into the intermediate shaft instead?

If you have an old water hose I would cut about an inch to an inch and a half off of it and use those to put on your lug nuts to keep from marring the threads with the pry bar
UGH Im having a time lining up the strut bolts...Mine looks much tighter in between then this one...any advice?

Apparently there is a difference between rear axles for a car made in Britain vs Japan. I know mine is made in Japan but is there a difference between the left and right?
If I want to extend the width of my crv, can I replace the axle for a longer one, Instead of using spacers?

Does the axel have to be flush with the transmission??

I replaced my passenger side cv axel. My car shakes about 15 mph and stops at around 25. Anyone know why?

For anyone replacing the axle, its also best to replace the ball joints
all of my bolts were seized, had to grind the 36 mm one off, was very difficult to take the axle out of the rotor , and to place it back in was even harder. took me about 3 hours in total lol

The other side isnt that simple! much harder to remove from the half shaft!

Drivers side is easy. What about the passenger side?
What I did was I raised the vehicle so that I can have a enough room to swing a small sledgehammer onto the axle and it worked. The pry bar method was no help
Aftermarket axles are going to vibrate
mine a great. got them from napa.
