Highly recommend you buy OEM or high quality ball joints because cheap ones will come out when you press them in. It might be better to just keep the old ball joints just repack it with grease and put a new boot on it
it was seating on piecs of wood n took the bolts out in about 5 seconds because the impact gun, so it is good to do the things according to the situation n tools at the moment, thanks for sharing.
I have a question I did that work with a friend in a 04 crv that ball joint that was there I don't know why didn't have the snap ring and the new one is the same as the alod one is short and you can put the snap ring neither now I don't know if he buys the wrong ball joint
it might be the wrong one, you should check again the place where you got it from because it is supposed to fit with the snap ring, thanks for sharing.
This was extremely helpful, thank you so much for this. Please, if you have any more for this car can you create a playlist for Honda CRV Mk2? Thanks again.
Cheers I just got an ebay kit need to change both mine I'll be using your video to walk me through it. I didn't get OEM parts but they say they'll fit so we'll see.
Hi JM, I wanted to ask do you need to remove the lower control arms if you're just replacing the ball joints? Can you replace them without removing the control arm?
You can also rent the ball joint press from a auto parts store. The OEM ball didn't have a C clip, but the replacement ones did.
So much easier if you remove the caliper and tie it off to the side.
A lot easier when you remove the caliper and ABS sensor I also recommend loosening the lower ball joint prior to taking anything apart
You did a good job. Simple instructions for a seemingly difficult job.
thank you appreciate it
Hello Sir. I ordered some MOOG ball joints, but it doesn’t have a snap ring. What brand are those you installed?
brand: quick steer, part number: K80223
You're very helpful :) great job
I think that's because he said it was an 4wd model. The non 4x4 doesn't have a snap ring. Maybe I'm wrong.

your comment is so appreciate it, it is always better to use OEM parts.
Honda does not manufacture ball joints for this. You have to replace the knuckle
@@envfirefrost3633I bought mine at O'Reilly's
Very conscientious detail.. Great job 👍
Thank you so much 😀 very appreciated comment.
God bless u too
Pretty messy, and potentially damaging. Take the calliper and rotor off too. 👍
how do you deal with the shock dropping down super far? if say, it sat for a while..

Hi JM,
I wanted to ask do you need to remove the lower control arms if you're just replacing the ball joints? Can you replace them without removing the control arm?
Don't use oil on on the rubber, it'll destroy it. Silicone only.
thanks for taking the time to watch this video I will always appreciate your time on the channel.
