Why Is My Nintendo Switch Dock Blinking/Flashing? (What To Do)

Common fault causing this are the USB port connectors getting bent, or in my case the charge controller chip M92T36 failing. You need a multimeter to check the caps around this chip to check for shorts. It needs to be replaced. If the USB-C pins are bent that needs to be replaced as well.

What if someone else's switch works in the dock but the intended switch doesn't connect to the tv. It charges in the dock but the green light blinks and doesn't go to the tv. The tried two docks, but my daughter's switch won't show on the TV. Mine works fine.

I bought the oled to replace my first switch. The plug for the old one was plugged in already so I just used that and that made the light blink green. Put the power source in that came with it and it worked fine. Strange since they were identical.

Plugged in 2 different power adapters straight into the Switch. Switch charges.
Plugged some 3rd party HDMI to USB C adapter. Works. Displays on TV and charges.
Bought a new Switch dock board. Still flashing green light. Does not display on TV.

Well mines went crazy right know but i fixed it i had two faulty joycons hooked up to it with a hori charger i tossed those bishes in the trash a family member left them behind 😅😅
